Hey Pain, thank you again for your video! May I ask if you already have made or probably make in the future, a video on how to set up RTL on a VTOL? Thanks!!!!
Yes, check out the VTOL videos... The docs are pretty good about it too. You want it to RTL in plane mode and transition to hover for the last landing ohas only... Best of luck
Really interesting indeed! Thanks a bunch for the tutorial and all the info, Lee! 😃 BTW, RunCam made a new Thumb, the Thumb 2,and I'm really curious about it! Are you going to review it? Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
ArduPlane v4.5.5 has quite a few more options to configure! It is also recommending using a value of around 15 for TKOFF_THR_MINACC. Also does using takeoff mode remove the need to "arm" before launch? TKOFF_ACCEL_CNT would come in to play then, shake once = arm, full throw is then ready to go. Previously I was arming, setting throttle to 65%, throwing (and hopefully not crashing the dang thing immediately) Thanks for your great videos!
Hi, thanks for the video, can you check indoor without GPS signal if the takeoff shake its working? I cant make it work inside but I dont know if requires GPS
Great video - thank you. I have setup a tri-cycle plane (it's my 'lab' plane) for testing digital video. I can successfully have it auto land, but am unable to invoke auto-takeoff. When I flip into auto, I see 'mission 1 takeoff' in the log, but the motor does not spool. I had successfully set this a few years ago with another plane (now RIP..) but feel like I'm missing something. BTW - have 2 other planes I use the 'shake to wake' with fantastic success. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
@@Painless360 I just got the speedybee 405 & it says it can run dual systems ardupilot & inav. Im new to this so it can have both setup then use what 1 you need & not clash with the inav switches if on ardupilot?? or can it only have 1 setup on it at a time?
I noticed you set the takeoff parameters for the Firefly using the Ardupilot Mission Planner. That is my favorite protocol however I am forced to use the QGroundControl app on my android based H12 radio because although I was able to download the Mission Planner app, I can’t seeHm to figure out how to link it to the aircraft. I think Eddie at HAOHAN doesn’t quite get what I’m trying to do. I’d appreciate any help in figuring out how to accomplish this.
@@fordboyzzzz It's just poor wording. The SpeedyBee 405 Wing and Wing Mini are supported by both iNav and ArduPilot - but not at the same time. It is one or the other. ;)
Nice lee. Would love to see more adruplane content. Have had success with the T1 PNP but starting from scratch is super daunting.
Lots and lots of Arduplane stuff, including two entire builds for beginners on the channel. Check them out... Happy flying!

@@Painless360 Yes exactly that! Thank you ill check it out!
Thanks Lee
Thank you sensei!! Btw did you see the flying wing cloud? 6:33
Right as you were doing your outro there was the sound of a jet flying over in the background. Probably using shake to wake too 😂
You once mentioned something about testing rc lasertag. If you ever make a video about how it all works, I for myself would be grateful to you 😅
See my videos on FPV Combat... Best of luck

Yep, Patreons were updated about it the other day... Stay tuned!

Thanks for sharing. Always fun when things are changed in the code :D

I only fly Ardupilot with a GPS and Compass here... Best of luck

I'd use the Autolaunch mode now. See my other video about setting up a launch as part of a mission... Best of luck
Hola que tal , disculpa como se hace el mismo procedimiento en inav?
Autolaunxh. See my video on it.. Happy flying
What happens with SpeedyBee dual operating systems & switches - can they muddle up?
I'm not sure I understand the question... Can you elaborate?
