there will never be another police academy reboot etc that could take the place of this. this was mostly done in the 80s, a good time to do movies and it was so funny and cool. especially motor mouth jones lol

this is seriously the police academy series at their peak. of course, the sequels had some great scenes. no doubt. but this really showcased all of the abilities of every single actor in this film franchise. Brian tochi, while some people say that his yellow face is degrading, is an amazing actor, and despite some cultural stereotypes being used as laughs, his character is written to dispel those through comedy. or strengthen them. regardless it's a positive experience. at least for me being six when I first saw it. I just remember wanting to see this so bad for some reason. it came on cable and my Mom and Dad decided to tape it for me as a surprise. so I woke up early before going to school, and I laughed so hard. I think it was one of the first films that I actually had a belly laugh throughout the entire thing. thank you for posting this
