- Our intrepid automotive contributor Robbie drove the BMW iX M60 from Berlin, Germany, to Como, Italy, spending three days on the road with the new EV. If you already liked the iX, you know what to expect here, zippier performance, at the cost of some range. Still a blast to drive, and another solid EV from BMW.

I happen to like its looks. Its grille is a great cahnge from so many rounded, blobby, non-descript typical EV fronts. An SUV that’s fun to drive, even though the twisties. And FAST!
No mention of rear wheel steering, auto-levelling air suspension and the 30 x speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system with its two sub-woofers...
I love this car! Ordered one after seeing one on the road in real life. It was the iX 50 but damm it was a head turner. Everyone was looking at it at valley fair mall in San Jose.
Ummm, People were looking and chuckling how ugly that big fake grill is. It's been the butt of jokes for quite awhile now, sorry but true.

i3 proved to be the most reliable ev after 8 years.
It's a miracle if it reaches 50 miles! Try a mountain pass on a Canadian winter... this tech will never cut it

BMW fanboy here, owned 6 M cars, my current car is F80 M3. I'm looking for an X5M EV alternative but this dare I say "ugly" SUV is not the one. Yes I went to look at one in white at my home dealer and it is uglier in person. I'm truly saddened that BMW has chosen Bold in your face Ugly as opposed to the Beautiful and Timeless design language still seen on some of their existing lineup. I was appalled that big ugly grill was actually a decal of sorts. So much wrong here.

I don't care about more power, I need a car that lasts, no insane bills to change a knob, or hidden trick to remove a liner, plastics cracking in the sunlight, etc... less waste is good for the planet too.

As ugly and as big as those grills are those cars are in demand and are selling a lot. So don't worry cos you were not the focus point and they were not meant for you. It's time to learn as human that what you don't like wasn't meant for you.

If drivers in SoCal followed the rules, our commutes will be more comfortable and relaxing instead of the F You kind of attitude. I can do whatever I want because I am entitled and will either sideswipe you or just shoot you. Stay safe out there! The iX M60 looks nice but the cockpit needs the current X5 cockpit. I may just keep my X5 45e for a while.
Why would you call a car a different name but not make it different in any way visually speaking?

TBH such pedal elektrotoilets don't deserve to exist and should go straight to the JUNKYARD.
It's ugly, dangerous (like all the EVs are), underperforming heavy iron (ravine I am coming!) and this tech will never cut it... try using that car for 4 people in winter going through a mountain pass: 50 miles of range. Bring hand warmers cause it's likely you'll remain there!
