I've gotten use to the front of this iX. Just like the 4 series, really. As for the rest of the exterior I think, looks pretty good. Especially from the back. 👍
As for the interior. It's quite stunning. So all in all, it's a very nice motor. 👍

Don’t buy cars sight unseen, but based on owning X3 and your excellent video, put in for a production slot (when they become available here in the US) to order a 2022 iX. Hopefully it arrives 4Q ‘22. Thanks for the info.

My 530 has amazing sounds also, I regularly open the driver's window at a quiet rural Stop Sign so I can hear the engine throbbing and purring as it moves off.
Yes awesome inline 6! Our kids will never know those intriguing sounds....
Outrageously good car
I would buy this over the Model X if Tesla allows BMW to use its supercharging stations. While the Model X is a bit quicker, I would gladly trade in speed for luxury, not to mention the Bimmer is a bit cheaper than the Model X.

Crummy short benches on the seats. My Volvo C40 has far better seats! How can BMW put a short seat in such a large vehicle? I guess they think everyone is no taller than 5’8”

Love the way you do your reviews but have to disagree with you on this one. The Tesla offers better software, charging network, more range, safety, all hardware built inside the car for self-driving. Plus Tesla insurance will be available soon which will be a lot cheaper as it will monitor your driving. It also needs to be noted that Tesla has investments from the founders of Google. The CEO of Oracle is also an investor in Tesla. Tesla basically has the entire software industry on its side. Engineers working for SpaceX also work with Tesla engineers. Once you find these little things, it explains why Tesla is able to move so fast.
A good advice for potential buyers: Test drive the cars your are interested in and make your own decision - without input from fanatic fanboys. The iX is way ahead of any Tesla when it comes to comfort, interior quality and driving dynamics.
Of course you're welcome to disagree. However I disagree with you in turn. Tesla are overrated, you can't seriously compare them with BMW, but anyway, I think like the anti vaxers you might not be persuaded otherwise.

@@jonpetter8921 Tesla is only 15 years old. BMW is about 100 years old.The former engineer of BMW who designed the i3 and i8 publicly criticized BMW for being slow. The video can be found on TH-cam. Just like Nokia and Blackberry, BMW will be a failing company. Software and the computer industry are the core industries. Tesla is a software company with amazing computer engineers.
Tesla beating? Does it beat a model x on range no, a model y then still no. Can it charge faster than a tesla, no.
Does it accelerate faster than a tesla no. Does it have a larger frunk or more total cargo capacity than a tesla no.
Is it more efficient than a tesla no. Does it weigh less or handle better no.
Does it operate on a larger more reliable charging network again no. Journalists these days posing as car reviewers are a sad joke.
Quality,looks, durability, image, prestige, desirability, class and desirability, yes the bmw wins hands down in all those departments and no I don't own one.
