Haut Strange everyone KNOWS who the beatles are and their music, but their prime was decades ago. i meant that this generation didnt know enough about them to get the jokes
Actually Paul didn’t speak Scouse , his parents , and after the passing of his mother , his father , wanted to teach him straight english without “dirtying” it with dialects
@@ghostenthusiast7792 Paul speaks perfect "dirty" Scouse when he wants of course, there's an old radio interview from 1964 around the time of the infamous first Beatles visit to USA in which he speaks different British accents playing with John and you can hear that his Scouse is as strong as it is supposed to be ..The fact he was thought by his parents to speak more polite (back in the day it was a pretty common habit among working class families) it doesn't mean he wasn't able to speak his own native dialect..He's just learnt to hide his accent the more he could, but very often you can clearly hear it popping out greatly. +GamerDares wins Yep, I knew he was meant to be John even before "Paul" called him by name. He caught not only the accent but that specific John Lennon scratchiness.
I remember the effects of Beatlemania on the older kids I knew in '64. A year and a half after The Beatles first appeared on Ed Sullivan's show I found The Beatles' cartoons on ABC highly entertaining and I was eighteen months older as Beatlemania moved forward like a juggernaut. These were heady times that _still_ echo fifty-four years later.
HKWong0502 I thought it was funny, yeah, but they could have tried a song between the four men. Not just this skit. Sure they could have tried any Beatles song.
Hey world! Jimmy Fallon is funny as hell! I particularly enjoy this spoof of the Beatles. He did a nice job of bringing the 1964 Beatles into the year 2014. Great job Jimmy! I am rooting for you all the way! Congrats on the new show!
Cracked me up, too. Just he and some pals having a good time, spoofing the Beatles. The four should have tried to either begin with an ending to or start to play a song while leaving. They, most likely would have sounded good doing that. Great work, otherwise, though.
Amazing, considering that this was well before Paul recorded his solo album "I, Mac" for Apple, John had his double-A side hit "Give PCs a Chance"/"Insta Grama", George wrote that great song that goes °I got a hashtag, ye-eah, got a hashtag..." and Ringo released "It Don't Code Easy", the band's first flopping disc. I dig it all!
This is no joke. It´s really him! Jimmy!!! Only mistake: It´s not JIMMY FALLON but JIMMY NICHOL, the guy who replaced Ringo during the Australia Tour. Good to see you again Jimmy! You didn´t change a bit.
Love The Beatles! OMG this made me laugh my heart out! Nice impressions Jimmy Fallon. Ringo, Lennon, and Paul were pretty spot on. Imagine if social media really was there during that time.... Never mind Jimmy you just popped the image right into my head. 😂
God damn it! 😂. I just discovered this video today and I can´t stop laughting 😂. It was really funny 😂. I really like the way Jimmy imitates John Lennon´s voice and accent 😄. I could swear Jimmy sounded just like John Lennon when he talked to the public 😄. Very good job, Jimmy! 😄👌.
I get it. All bands talk about nowadays is to follow them on social media and the Beatles somehow took off as the number one band for 50 years in a row without any internet or cell phones or hashtags. They must've cracked up in the writer's room. You know that old saying where if you have to explain a joke, then it isn't funny? Sorry, Jimmy. Still love ya, man
I think John sounded like a bee buzzing when he talked. I like it. He sounded musical even when talking. And in some interviews when he would answer the same words as Paul at the same time, even when talking, the tone of their voices had harmony.
It's not a question of lightening up. This is a good premise, poorly executed. Feels phoned in. When you're putting comedy out there for an audience the size of the tonight show's with a talent like Fallon, bring your damn A game
They pretty much stole this bit from Chappelle’s show. Chappelle did a bit about how 2pac was ahead of his time. It’s not like it’s exactly the same, but it’s definitely the same premise.
John: "Red Bull gives you wings!"Paul: "Really? I would love to have Wings..."
Camilo Garcia Ylasaari Lol nice

Terrible. Terrible accent, 20x too long. We got the joke when he said Facebook, then he did the same joke over and over and over again. Come on.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the first
It has to be long.. that's the joke. They're making fun of the pointless redundancy of these horrible websites; facebook, twitter, etc.
anyone else notice John's accent slowly turning Scottish?
Oh. Ye canae dae thon. Awbody's green

Everybody can do a beatles impression badly and Jimmy didn't let us down.
Americans are not great with foreign languages, even their own. I still like them tho (and I'm French can you believe it !)
The audience didn't seem excited about the beatles :s so sad...
HKWong0502 yeah, I thought that too. Pathetic. I'm sure they would have cheered loud if a shit diva was mentioned.
