Blackbird fab always had mounts which lowered the engine for center of gravity clearance. This does provide more adjustments of height. I wish they would have done this 3 years ago.
FYI, a 2.5L is 0.55” (14mm) taller than a 2.0. I was about to buy these to help with the fitment of my 1Goal FMT MK1 turbo downpipe but at 0.3” it wouldn’t be enough (I ask AWR but they never replied) and I doubt it would enough for a Fab9 low mount too since the downpipe is 3”. Point is, don’t buy these thinking it’s going to be enough to fix your fitment issue, it won’t hurt but it won’t be enough. I had to install a 0.5” gasket spacer between the exhaust manifold and the turbo.
@@NappMotorsports Thanks, I was thinking if these were fitted without removing transmission would it be best to loosen PPF and re check alignment in that case?

Good things take time
Stefan, any issue with vibration over time allowing the adjustment to change? I was thinking castellated nut/cotter pin☺
Shouldn’t be. Same way your alignment doesn’t change that much over time.

Interesting
I'm gonna try and use "needity" to my other half and see how that goes over :)
New buzzword
Hi Stefan, Do the lowered motor mounts by AWR put the oil pan in harms way?
Nope! Still good clearance.
How does it affect PPF alignment?
I had zero issues getting it all to bolt back up. There's plenty of play in the PPF bolts to take care of any weirdness.

save 250$ and get the Duraflex engine mounts.
They don’t make NC ones, and they aren’t adjustable, which is the main benefit of these. But good on ya
