Like a warm visit from old friends. They did it well+it must have been fun to make. being typecast is indeed a blessing and the curse number one your typecast number to it just means you've created such an incredible character that people can't separate you from the role which means you did an incredible job getting inside that role and defining it
1989?? I can't believe (no, not 'would you believe') that it's been 20 years since I anxiously waited for this to appear on broadcast TV. Thanks for posting this new footage.
There's only one Don Adams I think Jim Carrey could have done a good job with his impressions the height would have told me on but otherwise I think Jim could have delivered
get smart again was good. i didnt like the nude bomb. i was a huge get smart fan, still am, since a child. get smart, every season but season 5 was excellent, season 5 had its moments but i think it lost some of its writers or something. didnt seem the same. but the movie was back on track and awesome.
AutumnAsh81 getting86 married to 99 probably hurt the show like i dream of Jeanne ,major Nelson got married to jeannie, the jokes got old too, they had great some guest hosts i love the get smart theme song
@@lloydkline7245 Would you believe they made two I dream of Jeanne reunion films: I Dream Of Jeanie Fifteen Years Later (1985) And I Still Dream Of Jeanie (1991) of course Larry Hagman was unavailable to reprise his role as Tony Nelson due him filming Dallas at the time!!😉❤👍
I didn’t even know the Nude Bomb existed until (at least) 2000. I watched it once during a different time in my life and I didn’t hate it back then ... but it pales in comparison to the one with the full cast and guest stars. Even the Andy Dick project was fun to watch Don Adams act. Adams reportedly near the end of his life, hated all the spin-offs but his talent made them tolerable.
@@lloydkline7245 Like Gilligan, Lucy, Ralph, Alice+Norton, Maxwell Smart Secret Agent 86, 99, The Chief, Hymie, Sigfried, et al, have not been off television since the original runs of their programs somewhere in the world these shows are airing every single day and every single night. Now that's the quality of staying power and a quality television show!
Absolutely wonderful reminiscent movie. But I will always miss Edward Platt. 💛🙏🏼
Get Smart was one of my favorite shows. Sad to see Chief had pass away. Max and 99 can’t imagine anyone else but Don Adams and Barbara Feldon. ❤
Im 19 and I just watch every episode and this movie this year
I'm curious, would that include the short-lived FOX series from 1995?

I'm only ten and I've seen all the episodes except this movie but I'm gonna watch tonight it's on my P.V.R on the tv
This rules and I luv Barbara Feldon
This is GREAT!!!!! Should have been included on the GSA dvd!

Love it, they got paid & had fun doing it, but they gave us so much more in life.
I have this on VHS. But would you believe the sitcom was better?
Yes and This is Heavy!!😉❤👍
Everybody is back with the exception of Ed Platt, who passed away in 1974.
Hymie really takes everything illiterately. Lol.
Danny Goldman, who was Dr. Denton in Get Smart, Again, did the voice of Brainy (to me, Mouthy) Smurf on The Smurfs.
Wasn't the same without Edward Platt.
This is what we have today kaos
democratic style
Get smart again DVD subtitles or close captain
I have not seen this but it has to be 1000 times better than the crap remake with Steve crapell

@@joejose8433 I think Andy Dick did a good job doing Maxwell Smart's son in Get Smart (1995 Fox series), which didn't last.
Max sounds like Tennessee Tuxedo
I believe he did the voice over for that charachter
He was
Jessy Leppert, he did Tennessee's voice.
Inspector Gadget!!😉❤👌

@143AC I think they did a great job. The Nude Bomb, not so much...
NB was good fun.
el regreso de el super agente 86 jajaja ye el cono del silencio
So this is canon. But The Nude Bomb isn’t.
Q inserted himself everywhere in earth's history, including this movie.

@@lloydkline7245 Unlike Max and 99, Tony and Jeannie didn't have any kids.
Very dated remake!
Get Smart Fan the reruns was very as successful for some of the old sixties tv shows

Even the new FOX series of Get Smart looks dated:)
