- It is the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage has been battered by the loss of their son, Dino a year earlier. Ferrari struggles to acknowledge his son Piero with Lina Lardi. Meanwhile, his drivers' passion to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia.

Trailers that gives away too much about the film. Really doesn’t have anything good going for it. That’s why the trailer reveals too much to draw audience in.
This film is based on real people and true events. It's already ''revealed'', not much to hide...
Regardless of whether you know the full story beat for beat of how it happened because it's from "real people and true events" You still will never know how a movie will execute those events and how it will look on the big screen. So a trailer can still aim for not revealing too much or the best scenes and just giving you subtle details without exposing everything.
Secondly not everyone is gonna watch a documentary or read up on the true events or real people, so it'll still be a surprised for the majority of people watching it regardless.@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849

This movie was made in honor of a man who changed the world by his incredible creations which gave and still give us so much joy. Enzo Ferrari is one of the automotive gods of the automotive industry ❤
And also not a very nice guy, if we're honest. This should be a really fascinating film.

@@CMON75 Added to the fact that so many trailers just outright give away the film, Michael Mann film's trailers have always avoided that since Miami Vice (2006). They always kill the atmosphere part - Miami Vice, Public Enemies, Blackhat, all in a row; now succeeded by Ferrari.
@@team56thThis doesn’t give much away because this is a teaser. A trailer will usually follow up with plot hints and characters speaking way more (not just one sentence in the end). It’s a normal procedure. Look at the teaser and trailer for NEON‘s Spencer.
But they will, there's likely going to be two full trailers that will retell the whole movie. 😂

Adam driver is SUCH A GOOD ACTOR and seeing him play all these outstanding roles like in house of Gucci, and now Ferrari, makes me more than proud. You better be sure ill be in theatres watching this.

Love the fact that up until the closing shot there is really no voiceover/dialogues. Just visuals and the sound of an engine going full throttle. Beautiful teaser.

Trailers have been a lost art for a few decades now, and I don’t say this often but - that was the best trailer I’ve seen in a long time.

Ferrari hasn't cared about winning in over 15 years. They're a marketing company more than anything. They don't need to win to make 6 billion dollars a year only making a little over 10 thousand cars.

One of my most anticipated films of the year. Love Michael Mann's films. "Heat," "Collateral," "Thief," "Manhunter," you name it. This looks incredible.
Mann knows tone and mood like no other director.
Mann’s last great movie/ project was collateral in 2004. He’s getting older now and this will likely be one of his last big budget movie projects. I hope he goes out with a bang.

@@filmsceneinvestigation I think quite a few people will shout a resounding NO on this one. Miami Vice is now a new-school Mann classic. Public Enemies build upon that. I recently got confused around Blackhat, which I thought was amazing, but a new 4K BD is coming up so that will help. But really. Once Miami Vice 2006 starts to click, it shows: Mann never lost touch, he just moved to the next level.

Let’s see if it’s actually accurate… Enzo’s story, specifically about his family and his son, is a truly tragic, heart-wrenching tale, and is every bit as interesting as the cars that he made… If they do this right then it will, no doubt, be one of the best automotive movies of all time.
“He” didn’t make jack sht and had no interest in sports cars according to the Brock Yates biography. Let’s see if they get that right or if they keep telling the nonsense romance story that the Ferrari marketing department wants everyone to believe.
@@GTC4cam Not entirely accurate but close, he loved racing, and built the road cars to fund that passion… He gave racing up when he had his son in order to make sure his son would always have a father since he had lost his father and brother at a young age… But then his son was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and died at the age of 24, Enzo wore black and visited his grave everyday for the rest of his life…

With all due respect for Driver and Cruz and the rest of the cast, the casting of this movie is cultural appropriation. There are a lot of great italian actors, why did they had to give the main roles to american actors with no italian roots?

Ditto...man you should have seen the deadbeats in the theatre I watched this movie tonight...just for a couple of verbal outbursts from the cinématographique splendour of the camera genius and plot they called security saying I had a behaviour problem. They took me out of the theatre. Mind boggling.
