Hey 🆎 I just watched a sister make Dirty Rice with chicken gizzards & liver. She put the gizzerds in a Instant Pot. She chopped the uncooked liver down and sauteed it in butter. I believe that’s the authentic recipe. I didn’t know gizzards & liver were in Dirty Rice. Your version looks really good.😊

Dirty rice historically is made the same but organ meat such as livers, hearts, and gizzards are used. I know you made it by excluding the livers for other people's taste. It looks good.
I so love chicken gizzards and hearts. Grew up eating those fried. Still do that now, but pressure cook them now to tenderize them. Dirty rice is one if my favorite meals to make also!!
