This guy shows how much more _fun_ & satisfying it is to be a *home cook* rather than a ‘professional chef.’ He goes by vibes, feel, & intuition-not lost in pedantic measurements of recipes. Love it! 🤩👏👏🤟
Should add a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce to the onion and bell pepper as they are cooking down. I always add it to my seasoning as they are cooking down. Dats Cajun!
No joke, I have never seen this video before, but I wanted to try something new last night and I made andouille soft tacos and they were the bomb!!!! Best tacos I have ever made!!!!
Oh AB I know the reason why I enjoy your show . I started making these types of sandwiches for my family years ago to give them a variety and here you are in 2024
I just had a thought to use sloppy Joe’s with chicken and I looked it up on TH-cam and your video was the first one to pop up. I would really like to say that I love the way that you present everything and the whole vibe that you have going with the process of starting everything and how detailed you are when it comes to this stuff. I honestly feel like we’re having a conversation with each other lol more than it’s just a tutorial so thank you so much. You should definitely keep putting these videos out.
Try it with taco seasoning topped with shredded cheese and taco sauce. You'll never stop at Taco Bell again. Also add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
BEST RECIPE EVER!!!! I MADE it last night and I swear this is a copy cat of Manwhich. I used ground turkey and omg!!!! GREATEST TIP EVER: TOASTING MY BUNS WITH MAYO!!!! HOW did I never know that tip. thanks AB for the best recipes on the web.
There's a Merchant (Bebacue Sauce Company) who makes their own sauces. They were at a pop-up market making some "Sloppy Joe Fries" that looked alot like "Chili Cheese Fries" with similar taste and texture.❤❤❤❤
This is the first time I've heard of Cajun Sloppy Joe's. Thanks for the toasted bun trick! I think the egg in the mayo helps it get that beautiful color with a creamy texture added. My cast iron skillet is my favorite to cook with on the stove top. Ground chicken is my go to when I want a switch from turkey. Thanks for this recipe/vid! I'm definitely trying this one! Yum 😋!!!
The bomb 💣 AB! Always praying 🙏 that you are blessed my brother! You got skill G! Good 👍 looking 👌 out AB! We gonna start restaurant AB's Smokin' Grill! Thank you!
What’s up AB!! I hope you’re doing well today and I love sloppy Joe as kid growing up and it still makes a decent meal for your family . So delicious 😋 ❤
I don’t get why my aunt would take like three hours to make Sloppy Joe’s BUT they was fire Pure Deliciousness!! But imma try your recipe because 3 hours man !! Hey AB. can we get you to make some old shool Chili Mac n cheese you probably already got it on the menu or some Chicken Shrimp and Sausage jambalaya ! ✌🏾💛🙏🏾
Ab I’m really enjoying your channel my dude. Keep up the great work. I’m definitely trying this because I for some reason only liked the wagon burgers from elementary 😅 Ground beef ones I just can’t do.
Definitely gonna try this one. Been making sloppy joes with ground turkey for a while & the guys in the house havent picked up on it yet. Never thought to try it this way! Gonna have to pick up some good cajun seasoning & give it a go
AB! The Big Dog in the kitchen! Love your videos so keep ‘em coming! AB, gotta question for you. When I was living in the south, my wife used to make a crockpot meal with pork and yellow rice. I have a four pound pork loin just waiting to find that tasty recipe my wife, ( now a longtime ex wife, lol ), used to make. I know you gotta have the recipe I’m looking for! AB, as always, good lookin out!
You asked what I would do to level it up, I would use El Pato hot tomato sauce. Also, I like Brook's ketchup, sometimes hard to find, but Amazon has it.
I know I`m late to the party ,, but add about 1/2 a pound of chorizo to that . I love adding that in when making burger patties . Add a little sriracha in there if you want a little more kick .
Really appreciate your videos. Talking about ketchup, once you try Whataburger's spicy ketchup, you'll never use anything else. Continued success my brother. God's peace and blessings.
Try substituting a can of creme of chicken soup instead of ketchup, because tomato tends to cover the subtle taste of of the chicken. A few thin slices of pepperoni would liven it up even more.
Try using taco seasoning instead of the other seasonings with ground turkey, chicken, or beef and top it with shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce topped with taco sauce. It's delicious. Back in the 70s Taco Bell sold that and called it the Bell burger and then changed the name to Bellbeefer. I can't believe they haven't brought it back but the people running Taco Bell probably don't even know about it because it was so long ago.

Don't use ketchup use open pit barbecue sauce many different flavors gives it that specific flavor that you looking for
Detroit style
But it's still barbecue sauce and that's not what he's going for here.
I don’t get why my aunt would take like three hours to make Sloppy Joe’s BUT they was fire Pure Deliciousness!! But imma try your recipe because 3 hours man !!
