Thank you mate 👍😃 It's comments like yours that keep me motivated to keep uploading. I really appreciate the kind words and I'll be sure to upload more Shads tunes in the future 😃👍🎵🎸
Yes indeed and thanks for this reply. As I say there is a difference in the way all these great tunes can be played but not many show the real feeling and technique that you do. I have been playing Shad's tunes since 1963 and started the south London band "The Evening Shadows" who are still going strong (Covid allowed). Our lead player was a good friend of Bruce's and he more than once came to see us performing and in the studio. I am looking forward to hearing more of your playing and thanks again for making these old numbers live again with such care. All the very best....
Whats the secret on this long, floating sound, I'm constantly admiring it but never seem to find concrete answers on how to obtain it so I'm really itching for answers
Hi. I think you mean the volume swell at the start of the notes????? If so it's just a volume pedal. You work it with your foot and it's basically just like turning your volume control up and down on your guitar 👍 If it's something else then let me know a bit more of what you mean and I'll be happy to help 😃
Hello my father's has been watching you playing the covers and has been looking for the tabs for the song, you know where they are or he can buy them from you. thank you keep going, great work
Hi mate. Firstly, tell him thanks for watching but I'm sorry that I don't use tabs as I work everything out by ear. There's another Shadows player on TH-cam called Random275 I'm pretty sure he gives out free tabs to all the tunes he uploads. Check him out and see of you can find what you're after 👍🏼
I enjoy listening to your guitar playing Rufus and this is another superb performance! I've been looking around for this backing track for a while now, but am struggling to find it anywhere. Are you able to tell me where you got yours please?
I'm now 72 and have been a Shadows fan since their beginning. Never interested in Cliff it was always the instrumentals for me. Saw them live back in the day and saw them play this. Your cover is excellent and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
