I got the same kit right when it came out but with the Lit Kit. I also agree, to install that little tube was a pretty poor design lol, just thought it was me. It works, but it is just a little janky....
I have the full system on mine with the stock intake. Def lower intake temps, but it looks restrictive for the portion that goes to the flapper door. Cool air is great, but sucking it through a straw might not be a net gain on stock setup. No doubt the big mouth portion is better than stock though.
nice set up still thinking if i should get a gr corolla too but worried about that fire incident and the tracker thing you had on your ride and how the heck they know what speed your going also , its kinda scary what they can see.
Thanks for the shout out Anthony, and you were close, it's JimsGarageToys. 🤣 And yes, for anyone looking for a full install of it with the factory intake I have it here. And I didn't mess with that bolt either, IMO it didn't need to be bolted down as it's not going anywhere! 😉 th-cam.com/video/dISuGJLfEc8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EYfl6JzIENGIbGST
4:58 oh brother you have no idea, took me 30 minutes to find the tools just to get that one nut on. I'd recommend anybody out there do what jim did and find a rubber push grommet instead.
So easy to install you didn't even need to bring it to my shop this time!
Next install I'll be there!
I didn't even bother with the Allen head bolt. It's plenty secure without it. They definitely should have added a push tab instead.
Yeah i wish I would have done that first to know how secure it actually was without it lol.
This paired with a K&N Drop in for the stock box would be the ultimate intake setup
Agreed!
I love hoe they've made this product work with the factory intake and many of the aftermarket intakes!
Looks good! I can't wait for mine to come in.
What color options did you go with?
A very functional mod!

Yo that's actually pretty awesome. I bet you'll see a huge difference in IAT now.
So far IATs has been down a few degrees
I need to instal my snorkel into my Focus ST, never installed the new unit when repaired after hitting a deer.
Subscribed just to see when this one blows up 😅
As long as I keep it under 85 mph I'm good right? .... 🤣
@@antdo haha 😂😂
I didn’t even use that Allen Head. 😂
@@alexandertran345 yeah i wish i would have installed the push pins first to see how secure it actually was
Easiest mod for horsepower!

I wish I would have known about this before buying my SXTH element and intake 😢
Yeah, this company takes so long to get these shipped out.
I wonder how the Eventuri would work on this scoop, the little duck bill scoop is fine, but I was hoping it was more aggressive
5:04 bro i had to borrow a long socket for that and used an allen wrench to tighten that part 😂
They definitely should have designed that better lol

This just makes all other aftermarket intakes useless now lol.
@@VictorVannatter pretty much lol
Should I be worried about hydrolocking or incoming rocks and debris?
I just didn’t even install the bolt part. The clips have held it in just fine.
Yeah I Linda figured that out after I plug the other two clips in. Wish I would have done that first 😅
Nice! How does it feel now?
Thanks. Its basically 100°+ everyday here in Texas right now. But i have noticed a degree or two drop in IATs
I guess this isn’t needed and won’t work on eventuri right? Pretty sure that OEM part is replaced
Correct. The enventuri comes with its own scoop of some sort if I'm not mistaken
So no point in having an aftermarket intake then lol
Pretty much lol
So doesn't this just defeat the purpose of all of the other CAIs?
Pretty much. If you get the one for the stock intake and pair it with a good high flow drop in filter. You will be good to go.
@@antdo Hmm, this sounds like the most cost effective way to go with, adding to my list now.
Of course I see this two days after installing my sxth element intake....
@@jon1851seen this paired well with the sxth intake

Yeah I wish I would have just put the other pins in first so I would have known how secure it actually was without that allen bolt 😅
@@antdo For sure, that bolt is a major PITA.
The factory one was more than sufficient. If anything, this is just disrupting the airflow coming in now.

Let me know if you see any difference
That's cute. Now stop messing around with a Corolla and get a big boy's car like my Toyota Supra.
What were you hoping to accomplish here?
Bro. This is the only comment you ever make on his videos. 🤦♂️
Does yours consume oil
