Woooo, it's alive! It was fun seeing the process of setting it up on IG. And super excited that the Merakai is coming along! Some feedback on the site: - As a customer, I would really like to see pricing (or at least general ranges) on the Services page. I understand pricing of some mods can be variable depending on the knife/materials you're working on, but general ranges would help people understand if they're even in the right ballpark for being able to afford what they want. I personally find "request a quote" models kind of intimidating or embarrassing, because you feel like you're partially committed or worry about wasting someone's time by asking for a quote, especially if you learn you're way off and something is far more expensive than you realized. - I know you' said you'll be adding more pictures as you go, but I would also really LOVE to see example photos of each of the services, especially the various finishes and texturing. A lot of folks won't know what an alox vs garnet vs glass bead blast will look like, for example. Linking to existing IG posts that show the mod would be a quick and easy way to build this out. - The "Company" page is loading funny for me. Sometimes the picture of you two doesn't load at all, and other times it loads weirdly cropped to just Richie's face in the bottom right corner. I only know what it's supposed to look like from your video of it haha.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you so much for your feedback! I completely agree with everything you mentioned, I'll make the changes tonight and Ill see what I can do about our Company page. May have to contact customer support. You're so awesome, thanks Kevin!
Congrats on a beautiful website right from the start. I suggest that a future improvement could be to add photos for each of the services. I'm thinking that it would be better for each service to link to its own page with the photo so you can have a full size photo rather than tiny photos next to each photo on the services page. If you can do it, I think having a before and after photo would perfectly illustrate the value of your work.
Congrats on the new website! It looks absolutely gorgeous 🔥 now all you need to do is make a membership program for the channel. Ya know, in case you ever decide to go live again 😉🥲
