I have the plan, if I'm ever gonna get into a conversation with a girl, I'm interested in again (I mean, it's gonna happen eventually, right? 😅🤭 my one and only relationship ended over 4 years ago...), I wanna ask her if she likes cheese.... 😅 If she turns out knowing the movie and laughing, we're gonna get married. 🥰

@Latifah-uq7zr You know, there is this one channel, I recommended a movie and he said that he was interested in reacting to it. Kept pushing it further and further since October 2022!! 😅 Hasn't reacted to it yet. More recently, for a few months now, I recommended another movie that I would love to see a reaction to, that seems to have a bit more support from other viewers, too. And he has replied that he's planning to do it, multiple times now. Still hasn't. 🤷♂️ It is, what it is. Can't cry about it. Stay patient, positive and passionate. Suggest it a few more times, so it gets supporters and into polls a lot and you will eventually get there. I don't know what else to tell you.....
I'm so glad I live in an era where I can watch this movie, 10 Things I Hate About You, the Leo Romeo and Juliet, A Knight's Tale, and Deliver Us From Eva.
I love that Eunice's part was originally very small, but because they couldn't stop laughing at Emily Perkins's portrayal of her they kept giving her more and more lines
Honestly. Lol. My husband and I watched back in action the other night and we were crying laughing repeatedly saying how horrible it was. It was prolly the most enjoyable movie I've watched in a long time. Lol. Solely because of how much we laughed, &we were only laughing because the fight scenes were INSANE. Lol. BUT it was so bad that it made it good and I'd prolly watch it again. Lolol.
there were so much of Amanda Bynes iconic line delivery that had a chokehold on my childhood because of this! "...and when I close my eyes, I see you for who you truly are, which is UUUG-LAY" and " Oh. Right. OH, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! IT BURNS!" so fun to laugh at you guys laughing along 🤣
Casting actually wanted someone other than Channing Tatum to play Duke, but Amanda Bynes pushed to have him play the role. So some people say she kickstarted his acting career!
That actually makes so much sense to me because he really has great subtle comedic timing. I can imagine their playing well off each other in that way probably added a lot to personal chemistry!
I don't think I've ever watched a video where you guys laughed THIS much!!! 😂 this is one of my favorite movies so I am so glad that you all loved it too. Also this is one of the most quoted movies ever, so don't be suprised if you see cheese and automatically say 'my favorites Gouda' 😂😂

Amanda Bynes was a true physical comedic genius especially for her age. Even having her own show titled after her at age 13. It’s truly heartbreaking to see her now. She deserves the best
I remembered this movie being so frickin funny as a kid, and when I recently rewatched it as an adult, it totally holds up. Childhood favorites holding up in adulthood is rare but this is one of those movies. It's so funny
In the DVD commentary, they tell the story that Channing accidentally flicked the other actor in the eye with the towel and actually injured him. But it's still the take they used, because of the real reaction.
14:41 One of my favorite moments, I am SO glad you noticed the "nod" line. I don't know how they filmed it, it would be HILARIOUS if that was improvised. But some people actually miss the line. And a lot of the other more "hidden" humor, too...
@@aly6192 sure, I was considering to do that anyway. In case this channel has some YOUNGER audience as well... At least I did. The age of the character and that they're in high school, so technically allowed but still pretty naive and inexperienced adds to the humor of said context... Hope I could help... The "she gives good nod" line was improvised. :) And the actors who played Toby and Andrew (Duke's best friends) were apparently begging for more lines in the workout scene and you can see them casually "curling" a barbell loaded with a ridiculous amount of weight in the background of one shot lol. Duke's necklace with the ring had a whole backstory that was told to Channing Tatum, it was supposed to belong to his character's mom but they never mention it in the movie. They also originally had Malcolm escorting Monique at the Debutante Ball but the cast protested and pointed out he was kind of geeky and they didn't think Monique would end up with him, so she's escorted by Justin instead.
