Instead of using tape on your spool tie whatever slip knot you use uni knowlt whatever then half hitch the spool from the top and again from the bottom so another two half hitches over the spool. Works a treat and no need to have sticky residue on your spool.

I don't need another reel but I would give it to my nephew who has been getting into fishing and coming along as a fine angler for a young kid, he has the ability to work out what works and what doesn't on a particular day. Good video as always.

      @@ByronTeaHill no worries mate.
Love ya work and I'm mad about fishing.
Yep I was shocked when I realised it was 11years old.
I bought it when my middle daughter was born.

Love Daiwa LT. I bought the Legalis LT 2500. Use it in one outing. Come back the next day to the shop. Buy the legalis 3000. Cos my wife end up liking my legalis 2500. Now the two of us are using Daiwa LT. She love it to. I'm happy if i catch any fish. On your reel. Cos must of the time I'm only getting a big 🍩. Nice video always helping me out on the tips and tricks. love watching you 😁

Your channel has got me back into fishing and I'm also introducing my daughter to it as well. The possibility of catching quality fish on lures and soft plastics while extracting my daughters phone from her hands is quite exciting. I've also just bought a Pajero Sport and will be hitting Fraser, Moreton, Straddie in the next few years and hopefully catching a heap of fish. Thanks for a quality channel with great production and instruction.

Great video on the 2021 Daiwa Freams LT, I like the way you mentioned how well it pairs up with different rods in terms of balance and even price point. For me I would be using this reel to chase Swan River Tailors given the size of the reel and it's smoothness and corrosiveness properties as I will be flicking hardbodies all day long. It would be a reel that I think I would be using for many years, and for those fishers who would buy one, I think they would be keeping this reel for a while. The reel looks great and fishes well too.

i would really love to get onto some really nice bream with this reel as it would replace my old legalis lt 2500. but most likely would use it most of the time for trout and reddies. my last trip on the bream was pretty hard on the old legalis fishing racks for big bream out of the kyak now shes pretty much cooked haha. this would be a sick reel to replace that... keep up the great work byron mate... yeeeww

I would pair this with a diawa td zero 702LS for bass and reddies.

I’d use it a lot for bass, tailor, snapper and flathead on surface. And use it as a slightly heavier set up

Great video Byron. I would use the reel to target bream/flathead/whiting.

Being in SA I would be catching undersized bream haha - great video mate.

Love the Daiwa reels & still use my old 2012 Freams reel. Would use the new one on Bream mainly & Flathead.
