Yo how they holding up nowadays bro
The main "issue / problem" with these less expensive reels is longevity. Out of the box is one thing. 6 months and 100 trips later... hmmmm. I've also seen some of them (TH-cam videos) start making noise and having casting issues on the third or forth cast! While $200 and more may have some quality advantages, most reels today over about $80 are pretty sound. I fish 5 - 7 times per week for 2 - 6 hours per day. All my newer reels are $80 - $200. They all are still really smooth, drags still functioning well, and no extra backlashes, although a couple need their yearly maintenance. Dust, pollen, etc. Thank you for posting and checking these reels out!
I'm gonna by a couple tonight and throughout the spring and summer season I'm gonna fish at least once a week...bit most weeks daily....with it till it breaks...I'll get back to you when it breaks or when snow falls next winter with my review

Idk I’m sure they don’t cost that much to make stuff is made cheaper in china it could be good quality I just ordered one nothing but good reviews you don’t have to spend 200$ for a good reel

I liked the Galaxy and would have liked to see more of it, but between the 4 new ones you got the gold one looked epically slick and loved that it could bomb out a cast. I have looked at bait casters on TEMU and just wondering on the longevity of the reels as well as servicing them? Can you weigh in on them?
I haven’t used them after the past videos but I think for $20 if you could get a few months out of them then that’s a win😂🤙🏻
only thing about the temu reels seems to be that they are noisy when reeling but I feel like some oil/grease could make it quieter

Gotta love the gold. It always looks good and classy if if you're not paying "classy" prices. I've thought about trying a bait caster. This video helps me lean towards getting one of these to learn with.
That's what I did. Cheap investment, learn the technique that works for me and sent it. Now I feel comfortable investing some money into better equipment. And in all honesty, I like my Ozark trail baitcasters over my Abu Garcia's

Don't make the mistake of buying one of their telescoping rods, they are hot bullshit. Having said that, all the other fishing gear I've bought from them has been dirt cheap and totally legit.

Majority of the cheap reels on Temu are still way better than the options we had in the late 80s and 90s

I always make it to the end logan if I had to rait them the gold one 1st dolphin 2nd fire and ice 3rd an the lizard one last but that's just how I seen them. It is entertaining to see how different each reel was and knowing the prices are affordable to all fishermen and fishiewoman any who love this vidge looking forward to the next video till next time tight lines buddy

Up Erie,,, trolling & jerk-drifting down deep, AT NIGHT, I'm always looking for 4"-5" or larger Glow-in-the-dark swim baits. (also test, line counter reels ;>)
We Hit those 'glow' swims with a bright light, drop them down & FISH ON!
I'd greatly appreciate a comparison on Temu's swim baits.? Durability, tail vibration, smell, (if they melt when applying bait scents & gels) & the luminescent colors, like how far down can you still see them in the water. How long do they hold the light? (& try the luminescent shrimps for night SALT fishing ;>)
BTW,,,, When your testing those bait casters,,,, put a 10# weight on the ground, & see if the drags are smooth & IF they can pick up the weight!? & After you try them all,,,, take the best of the bunch, & tie the line to the back of a quad & TAKE OFF!
Unspool them 5-6 times with a TIGHT DRAG.
Then, we will know just how well made those reels really are! Like 'Project Farm' would do!
It's really hard to believe anything your kinda testing & saying, when your getting paid by the company!?
Do a REAL TEST & Prove me wrong.
In Malaysia That three reels cost like under RM100 but its good to use. Pretty smooth and i guess one of that three reels have drag clicker maybe.. try check it its called (drag alarm)
Now you need to do a vid on all the rods, that would be nice to see.

Bought the umbrella rig pack from Temu. Put prob way too expensive soft plastics and jig heads in it, but the one time I’ve used it so far, I was in south Florida and landed a 1 pound LMB and a 3 lb peacock bass. Not bad so far!!!

Maybe it’s just the fov of your go pro, but the reel handles seemed like they were very far out from the reel. I feel like my black max handles don’t stick out that far.
I bought couple reels. And there working great I can't say I like their line very much. It breaks off way to easy , even the braid..

I just recently got back into fishing after 25 years and i just learned about baitcaster reels. Im a cheap guy lol so the fact i can get a whole set up for less than $50 on Temu is nice just to see if i even like it. Atleast if its not for me i wont be spending $100 or more.

I have the chameleon one of Temu please mate how did you dial it in mine seems to do nothing when in turn the knob the lure just stays up there and don’t go to the ground 😢

i am HAUT TON 'S seller Dolphin, you need to open the side cover to adjust the ring magnetic brake inside before use, and then adjust the magnetic brake on the side cover to achieve the best performance.

Hi, really enjoyed your review. I fish in Ireland for pike with large jerkbaits that I make myself. Because their size- some over 100g- I use 80-100lb braid. Would any of these reels be suitable for that? Thanks.

The internal parts in this will rust up FAST if you don’t oil them regularly
As long as they catch fish, you save a buck or two and don’t break after 3 months who cares if they come from Tumu, it’s not the big manufacturers aren’t getting their bait casters made in China. But these people in the comments acting like you should show some corpo some loyalty when they keep raising prices on us is insane.
