I’m keeping my disc. I’ve had it for over 5 years. Plus, Overwatch was my first ever FPS game I ever played. Never got into call of duty or anything. I loved the difference in the characters and the connection I had with the heroes.

Like this time there could be Kiriko and Shimada ones with the cyberpunk theme. I'll probably be fine with any option at this point, I'm one of the few but mighty pve lovers.
Unfortunately blizz do not care about switch ow1 is so poorly optimised on it, it is almost unplayable I have no idea how ow2 will run when ow1 struggles to hold more than 20 fps

I think it'd be cool if they have a spray and/or emblem for the long time players where if you have Half of all of the unlockable things they reward the OW logo but half black and white down the middle. Argh! This has a chance to go a smooth as the Warcraft 3 reforged launch where people who owned the classic w3 where forced to “update” to the new garbage version, which was abandoned a year later.
Whether it's overwatch 2 or not, I'm still going to call it Overwatch. Overwatch 2 is essentially a 2.0 update for Overwatch and I am glad it's back to getting updates again. Good thing our unlocked progression and currencies carries over.

You should be surprised, actually! Blizzard themselves had said Overwatch 1 players would be able to play with Overwatch 2 players on the same map. Them shutting down Overwatch 1 is quite literally the exact opposite of what they said they'd do.
OW1 wasn’t even an old game. Shutting down it’s serves despite the game being paid is extremely a shallow and cheap move just to force players into OW2. Never seen any other company do this. People should just boycott it.

I thought it was clear from the beginning that OW2 was just a huge update to OW1 meaning when 2 comes out, 1 will cease to exist, the wording was always weird though. I don't really know why they kept saying it was a sequel, I guess because it's going to play differently? idk. I think the 'sequel' is more so the PVE content and not much the PVP content anyway. All I know is that with OW2, the game will finally become a proper live service game (again?) and no more will (should?) we have prolonged content droughts.

@@spencerbrummett6712 Pokémon and Skyrim are also single player games that are replayable. Pokémon comes out with a new game every 2 years-ish and stop updating the last one. No one is telling you dump money on the games. Every online game does this now they want money it’s the sad truth but I mean just get used to it

I thought it was clear from the beginning that OW2 was just a huge update to OW1 meaning when 2 comes out, 1 will cease to exist, the wording was always weird though. I don't really know why they kept saying it was a sequel, I guess because it's going to play differently? idk. I think the 'sequel' is more so the PVE content and not much the PVP content anyway.
All I know is that with OW2, the game will finally become a proper live service game (again?) and no more will (should?) we have prolonged content droughts.
Will i be able to earn Ow1 coins in Ow2? To like buy highlight intros and victory poses for later heroes etc? If no, how do i get the kiriko highlight intros then?
