- When it's busy down at the Shelly Beach base in KZN, South Africa, the queue to get down the slipway can be a mile long. The very steel slipway and beach make it a risk every time you take your own vehicle down to the sand. Which has been aerated properly by hundreds of tyres over the days too.
And so we have tractors for hire. But same as if they were government tractors, to get service, you need to slip a R50, on top of the other fees, to get some attention.
But this three-wheelin' technological marvel stole the show and the bribe money as it majestically carried it's crew and skipper down the sipway and into the sea - all on it's own!
