Our customer wanted to be able to launch his boat off his new Dunbier Boat Trailer from the beach and required a modification to his trailer. Now our customer can safely and legally tow his boat and trailer on the road but also easily launch his boat into the ocean or river from the beach.

.Need a lanyard on the pin and clip, or perhaps a toggle pin so there is no clip to lose in the sand.

Why not put another Ball where the extension is stored and when you bring it back to the stored point lift and drop straight onto the ball and the hitch will lock in place. Instead of using a pin and spring pin :) If you have already thought about doing it and have done so in the 5 years since this vid, then let me know as i would like to see it, of if you decide to do it let me know as well :)
