80 Series Land Cruiser Climate Control/AC Rebuild FZJ80 FJ80 BJ80 HJ80

A detailed video of the teardown and rebuilding of an 80 series climate control unit. This is useful for changing lights bulbs, swapping out switches or any other issues. Unit is out of a 1994 FZJ80 but the units are likely the same for most 80 series.

Greetings, my problem in this case is that the blower speeds only work in Low and Hi
The resistor module control was changed and it remains the same, I understand that the problem may be in the switches
I wonder is there a way to repair them?

You should really use plastic tools when working around electronic circuit boards. Metallic tools can damage circuit board traces etc.

I have a interesting one John. After work was done on my dash, the climate control lights shut down after about 30min of driving. Could it be the plugs are not correctly seated in the unit? Thanks!

Just trim it in good to go. Reset botton.
