- The Audi RS5 has really been improved upon. Under the hood is a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 pumping out 444 HP & mated to an 8speed automatic. On the inside the fit and finish is top notch. The driver is surrounded by carbon fiber and Audi's virtual cockpit technology. Is the 2019 Audi RS5 the ULtIMATE GT performance car?

I paid $101,000 for my 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback it's cause I wanted all the packages and man it's the most perfect car I've ever driven. Everything is flawless, have no issues with anything. The only thing and this is normal is that the leather seats crease in the corners but that's usually normal over time. Good review.
Same here... just paid $NZ99,000 for my 2018 RS5 Coupe (prefer the lines of the coupe).

I’d like to take this Audi RS5 for a test drive. I’ve never been an Audi fan before, but, they’ve stepped up the game these last few years. The wheels are gorgeous! Front grill, side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser are quite aggressive! Five star 🌟 on this one ☝️

And I wouldn’t leave without mentioning the engine output! Hmmm not sure 🤔 it sounds good - no where close to exhaust sound on the GT 63, or GT 63s.

Audi's design language is fantastic. They really nailed the proportions. Not normally into flashy directional wheel designs but these ones look awesome and suit the car nicely

Oval exhaust is signature to the RS trim level. The regular S trim has the signature quad exhaust

One of the issues with turbos, regardless the car, long term reliability is hindered greatly and the cost to fix ANYTHING on it will be enormous. Doesn't matter to people leasing or paying off and selling before problems occur, but they will occur and the person driving it then is in for it.

I would NEVER I repeat NEVER spend $100k for a rs5. What is Audi problem. My AMG cost $152k and it's a supercar. Audi lost me as a customer years ago.

I use to own Audi's, my last Audi I own was a s8 4.0tt, yes it was fairly quick but it was so numb that it didn't feel alive. Never again with Audi my friend. I also drive my AMG's on the weekend, how do you like the bmw?
Dude that's literally 150% of the price of this car. 52k gets you a lot. And the numbers this thing puts out is no slouch. With options that price is not out of the ordinary for the segment..
@@b_nast19 I repeat, I would never shell out $100k for a rs5. The car start at $69,900, you start adding simple options such as the Black optic carbon package $5,500 and RS Driver assistance package $3,700 and Dynamic plus package $5,800, that is only 3 options that I feel should come with the car and you're already close to $85,000. Their is much more options that will have you looking at a $100k car, well I dont know about you but me being an ex Audi customer, I can tell you that you're better off letting someone else take the depreciation hit and buy it second hand in a few years at 35% of the car's worth.
And the rims look like the new Honda Accord rims 😂

What is that RED blinking on the rearview mirror??? That would annoy the heck out of me while driving.. (zonk!)
It's the compass and only blinks on camera.
I'm currently in a MKIII TTS and since it's going to be discontinued I believe a S5 or RS5 if I'm feeling nasty is the next car.
The steering wheel size is the exact same in the RS3! Although I much prefer the alcantara on the RS3 wheel over all leather.

I wish you could get this car with quad tip exhaust like on the s5. I don't like those 2 oval exhaust pipes they look ugly. I also like the s5s diamond pattern leather seats better. The rs5 has that hexagonal pattern and it looks like snake scales tbh. I dont like them. Also no all red seats? Just black with red stitching? Fix those 2 things and this would be the perfect car. If I got this I would swap the exhaust to quad tip asap
