I see you're rocking the Zeal Cloudfall! I have the portal and, for whistler especially(since the weather changes so quick and there is differential weather based on altitude) photochromic lenses are a game changer.
Dude these goggles totally rock. Glad you're running them too. Photochromic is a great play for Whistler's tempermental visibility

I filmed this before the rain - however the recent storm was pretty sweet and fixed the mountain up
your videos are greatt! if you improve thumbnails and titles you will blow tf up. like i say this because the content is so much better than excpected every time. keep it up
How would you recommend improving thumnails? I find the more traditional YT style thumbnails have poor Click through
@@riseandalpine for this video in particular, just "naughty or nice" didnt lead into the video idea. after looking at some other videos i think that my original comment was wrong and most are great, just this video the thumbnail + title barely lead into the idea, take my advice with a grain of salt thoug idk what im talking about.

@@tomsledzik6123 unless it has changed since I had one, a long time ago, it was a health and criminal background check, with limited numbers so “first come first served”. Great way to get people to fall in love with Canada
Is it possible that Whistler/blackcomb is getting a reduction in business because of the prices, so they got these merry lads to put this out? Now there is all the water and ice on the slopes, the lice, the impossibility of finding enough service industry workers because they can't afford to work there. Hummmmm

Then after the last run of the day as you walk back to your truck you curiously see a large number of red coated sternly looking mounties. Wait, is that my truck? Why are they looking directly at me and why are they so angry looking? As you slowly approach you can hear one of the angry sternly looking directly at you mounties say, "Are you Rise & Alpine? Be honest now. You stole Santa's totally unprotective of the elements super magical ski suit didn't you? Before you answer I must advise you that we have statements from several reputable witnesses including a glowing red nosed eye witness who will remain unnamed for their protection, I'm sure you understand. So mister hot sauce skiing funny man where is Santa and what have you done with him? Ok fine don't answer. How about we just send that little hot sauce bottle to the lab and see what exactly you are transporting in there that makes you ski so fast while burning that ash, hmm? Oh oh now you'll talk ok I see I see. That settles it you're coming downtown with us for questioning buddy!" Hahaha Love it, spread that cheer! I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Christmas or whatever it is you celebrate. Stay safe be good and maybe just maybe Santa will bring some freaking snow! Merry Christmas!
