Here is a link to my FREE Air Purification Consultation Form: airpurificatio...
I wanted to make a follow-up video to the IQAir Smoke test video as I think I can only type 150 characters at a time on TT and it frustrates me so this video will hopefully answer some of the questions and go into more detail in regards to the last video.
I am new to TT and don’t know hardly anything about it - I’m actually just trying to grow my YT channel and I figured since I have some YT video shorts I can easily just post them on TT, as well, just for the heck of it. Why not? Right? It just takes a few minutes.
Thank you to everyone for commenting on the video and interacting w/ me - I really do appreciate it and I enjoy engaging people to try to explain air purification solutions but I don’t like the TT 150 character limit.
The limit forces me to be very curt in my responses even though I’m not really that way in real life and I’m more of Mother Teresaish when I email people in real life and more long-winded as you’ll see - but on TT I seem to become somewhat of a jerk sometimes in my responses because they are short - because my #1 goal is to guide people reading the comments and educate them - not actually answer the person sometimes - to a certain degree - if that makes sense. I want to present current information.
I did not make any money on the IQAir video - and I do not work for IQAir or any manufacturer or dealer and I am not currently an affiliate for them on their site. I am an Amazon affiliate but haven’t really implemented that strategy yet. So no, I don’t make money for that video or this one - ya’ll know Gary Vaynerchuk says to just create content educating people regardless of your short-term gains - right? So, I had an IQAir HealthPro Plus for 10 years at my desk and I sold a couple thousand of them over 15 years as an air purification consultant (I also sold many different air purifier brands as well) and I have another IQAir Healthpro Plus at home and I have their desk unit, as well, - it’s called the Atem. Consultant Airpurifiers 2024
And I met Frank - the guy in the chamber in the video.. Breathing from the air purifier - He’s the owner, of IQAir - that’s Frank and I met him years ago in Vegas for a 3-day training - with other vendors - and I was able to ask him question face to face which was super cool - we all ate lunch together and I also met his wife who I believe is now the President of IQAir North America. IQAir is based out of Switzerland and they do business all over the world. So I am familiar with the product and the company. But I don’t have any current ties to them besides potential Amazon affiliate links - but I haven’t made any money yet. And I don’t even know how to monetize TT - so I’m guessing at some point in time, I will be able to put up some links or something… whatever… but selling the unit was obviously not the reason for me making the video…
I simply wanted to educate people to a certain degree in 58 seconds because it was a YT short - and this is NOT easy because there are many variables involved. So let me just say... The IQAir HealthPro plus in the video provides world-class medical grade purification BETTER THAN HEPA - OK - which is filtration better than 99.97% down to .3 microns - and that is what makes IQAir IQAir, IMO - they are the Mercedes Benz of the Industry. Funny enough when I first saw the smoke video 7 years ago - I laughed at it and didn’t like it because I consider it to be a ‘sensational’ type video a “shock value” type video - I felt like they were lowering themselves as a company by making such a video as everyone in our industry knew they were the best so I thought why make a sensational/ shock value video like that? Of course, I now know why… and the Healthpro Plus is good for certain smoke applications like wildfires… but it’s not a GREAT solution at filtering all types of smoke IMO -- I would recommend other air purification solutions instead of IQAir for certain smokey environments…
But what happened was I saw the Winix 5500 smoke video and I was angry as I find it to be ridiculous. I’ve owned a Winix 5500 for 6+ years and I know it is NOT a good long-term smoke solution. So their smoke video was not just sensationalism -

      Thank you for commenting.
I just looked at an Alen 75i video Review as I am not familiar with the unit... and I think the IQAir HPP is significantly better at particle filtration.
You made a better investment in your heath, IMO.
      Happy Holidays!😃

You had asked in another comment but YT won't show it to me on my channel for some reason so I'm reposting it here,
"What about the sensors that are on air purifers. I just bought and returned the Alen 75i which had on onboard sensor/monitor.
I am replacing it with the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air purifer which doesn't have a montior/app or otherwise. What do you recommend?"
I don't think sensors on air purifiers are super accurate and I don't see the reason behind having my air purifier "run less" when the inaccurate sensors think my air is "more clean" at the sensor on the unit. We want to try to obtain decent air exchanges in our environments... always. I run my air purifiers 247 on high, typically, and don't pay any attention to the sensors on them or any of the 5 hand held sensors I have.
Also, sensors cannot tell us the amount of ultrafine particles (.1 to .003 microns) in our air which account for over 90% of the particles in the air we breathe and are the most hazardous to us... so, I don't want a sensor to keep telling me my air quality is "good" when in reality it is only trying to read 10% of the larger, less dangerous particles in the air I'm breathing... in the first place... then, we have the accuracy issues on top of that.
I just went to a hotel with very suspect air quality and I did some mold tests in my room and the lobby and the petri dishes def. have a lot of mold in them...I think the hotel is trying to hid a mold issue by using a strong chemical odor to mask the musty odor. But my 4 air quality sensors (3 hand helds and 1 on my high end Aeris 3 in 1 air purifier) were ALL telling me the air quality was "Good". I can almost promise you - the air quality in that hotel is NOT good. I'm gonna send the petri dishes away to get analyzed.
There are over 10,000 different VOCs that can be in the air and how can I believe an air quality sensor is going to be able to be accurate in reading for all of them? Testing for VOCs is supposed to be even more difficult than testing for small particulates and I already know the monitors are not consistently accurate for testing for particles.
So, for me, I don't even worry about "Monitor Results" - I currently just tell people to invest in the best air purifiers they can (ie. IQAir HPP or Aeris 3 in1) and size them correctly for their space and let them run...
Do a mold test? or a Radon test? - YES! Those 2 are good suggestions.
But I think it is going to be quite some time before we have the technology... and at an affordable price... to consistently be accurate with air quality testing for ultrafine particles and VOCs... esp. in an all in 1 device. Hopefully some day soon.
      Thanks!👍

I wish I had known about IQ Air or Aeris. I desperately needed air purification and went with Austin Heathmate plus. I hope it is helping. My condo just got renovated and I'm super sensitive...I do lots of yoga breathing and wanted the best. I really appreciate your channel and even though I can't afford another expensive unit I will know for the future....and I plan on consulting with you. Thank you for posting.

      Thank you for your comment.
Austin Air makes good air purifiers. I have 3 Austin units and ran 2 Healthmate units for over 15 years 247. They may be the most reliable long term - built like a tank. I was gagging at 2-3 am in the morning from apparently dust in my ducts - and waking up for about 30 - 40 minutes - before getting back to sleep. The Healthmate fixed my problem the very 1st night I ran it so I was grateful.
      Happy Holidays!😃

Glad you clarified this. Unfortunately, so hard to determine which content creators are being influenced by companies even if they think they’re being unbiased. TH-cam allows for some excellent education over any subject you want to learn about , but people should def be skeptical of motives & verify etc.
    Anyways, great video!

Yeah, you are right. I remember a few years ago a fairly well-known air purification manufacturer gave each of our salespeople a free $400 air purifier hoping it would encourage us to push their product. I brought it home and used it and felt like it was kinda leaking bad air around the filters so I actually told some folks I don't recommend it, lol! And manufacturers will sometimes offer spiffs - like $50 for every unit a salesperson sells in a certain month or so... So, I know the manufacturers must offer similar things to Internet content creators, as well. I can't blame people/content creators for wanting to make money but... the problem is - we're not talking about a nice hat or a cool phone case - we're talking about improving the quality of the air you and your family breathe on a second by second basis - so it's a HEALTH issue. Big difference. My head almost explodes watching some TT creators recommend air purifiers because they have a 'special deal' with the manufacturers and I think the unit they are pushing is very poor + they obviously added dust/debris to the prefilter to make it look like it is a better unit than it really is. Really irritates me. Anyhow - Thanks!👍

Much respect. I apprecite your authencity.
Wish we had IQ Air stores in India. And there are 3rd party sellers can import Heatlh Pro Plus, but, it'll cost a significant amount.

Wow! I am shocked that IQAir doesn't have dealers in India. I assumed they already had dealers in India. I wonder why. I know they have locations all over the world - China, for many years - Vietnam, etc. Thanks for letting me know. 👍

I contacted IQAir and they said this company is an Indian dealer for their products. I don't know how much they are charging (if it is more than in the US) but here is a link to their product page for the HealthPro Plus: breatheeasylabs.com/HP250/ Thanks!👍

I sometimes get irritated when people question my motives but I guess you can't really trust anyone online and that just comes with the territory so I just have to accept it, LOL! 🙂
