You're well known so all manufacturers make sure the bike you review are tip top and you only use for a short time. These bike are OK for weekend summer toys but for a daily they have serious problems. I hope you get to review the Zontes ZT125U, ZT125U1 and the Zontes G1 they have changed the game with Chinese bike I really hope you do a review as you are honest and a proper review including the running costs.
If you are watching this in 2024 it’s better now. Bit more poke with 14hp Solid bike - cheap wiring (had to get the silicon tape out when I bought) nothing terrible. Handles amazingly. Great for not ideal road conditions.
Never thought I’d see 5 uploads in such a short period of time, without compromising the amazing quality. You’re killing it. Hope you’re getting a decent rest at night :P
I feel like a second hand Honda or Yamaha 125 is the way to go. Resell value will be excellent and riding experience would be similar/better. Less worrying about the reliability/build quality as well. The bike does look great though, love the orange.
I'm thinking of trying to start with motorcycling. I need to say this is the bike that I consider (it is called Zipp Scrambler in Poland). I was thinking of Yamaha TW 125, but the price difference is minimal. Do you think it is worth getting 2nd hand bike if the new one is less than 20% more in price?
There are so many of these bikes out now. Exact same bikes just with a different sticker/branding and color choices from many different re-sellers. They just come from China in a big box. I love these 125 bikes, just wish I could buy one here in Bulgaria.
When it comes to 125cc bikes, the performance differences are so marginal that I don't think it should be much of a factor. Style and price are more important. And this bike looks really nice. As for the price - as long as you think you won't be loosing too much when you flip it in a year or two, anything goes. As for the concerns some have about Chinese made bikes - how much can go wrong on a simple 125cc machine? Besides, you would think that in the past ten or so years of market presence, they'de learn a thing or two about making a bike. Just remember that the big four were regarded in pretty much same way before they were known as big four. Props from a happy Bullit Hero 125 owner
G'day Mr MB. This is a learners bike. Things i would change to make it easier for them. The seat is too high, it should be around 785mm. the short guy's got no chance on 825mm. i would change the width of the bars, narrower is the go. i noticed on the video when you were lane splitting, there wasn't a lot of leeway between you and the cars. Good video Bob.
I bought the Mash Falcone 125 and that is 136 kg empty and 11 HP, seat height 780 mm. So it is comparable to this one. I use it as a second bike to go around town and seem to drive it more now as the Yamaha FZ1 Fazer.
Yes, a great looking 125cc bike. Would even consider one of these just for short hops and commuting if I had some spare cash, even though I have a full license. Looks great fun!
Oh now that is PURDY. A really smart looking bike for a surprisingly decent price. Shame it sounds a LITTLE bit like a lawnmower, but what can you do with a 125?
It does look very good style wise. Not sure I could go back to a 125 again . Now a 250cc to 350cc with 20 ish BHP just to scoot around town, nice and cheap , and that I wouldn't mind leaving outside under a cover could be interesting .
So I've just blown up my Yzf r125 but need a bike badly to get to work, but my longest trip is to my girlfriends where ill be on duel carriage ways what is the top end of this? online it says 70 but my Yzf r125 said 75 but I got mine too 86, is this bike going to do my trips on a duel carriage way alright will it hit 70 on a straight?
I know 6 months late, but I agree with you on that. I had a RXS100 and i was racing a lad who had a tzr 125, he said fck that's quick for 100. It would beat any these new bikes today.
Does look good but comparing it to other cheaper 125s the only place it can actually compete is looks. Compared to other cheap 125s its underpowered, heavey and overpriced. The brakes and suspension are par for the course in this price bracket but considering I can save almost a grand by getting a sinnis or lexmoto which will have better or the same specs and the same level of quality its a no brainer. Don't get me wrong though it looks great
Looks fantastic, although I'm not a fan of those gp style exhaust. Really though, surely a 125 should be making close to 14bhp in this day and age. It can't be difficult when 125's could make close to 30hp in the 80's (admittedly, they where 2 strokes). Finally, can someone smack the bureaucrats that think linked brakes is a good idea!
Worst bike I've ever owned is a herald scrambler total junk I bought it new 2 years ago and its dead too many problems to list. I did keep up with maintenance it's just junk. So now I have a Zontes ZT125U only £400 more but built like a Honda. The brat is the same price and Ive seen plenty of people have serious problems with it. Best bike if you want a scrambler is by far the Zontes G1 check it out won't be disappointed.
thats the problem with herald 125 bikes is their gutless engines if one bike deserves a liquid cooled 14.5 HP engine and abs brakes its the brat. its just a pity herald used a gutless engine on acool looking little bike.
Lol 50mph top speed my old Suzuki ap50 could go faster than that and my RD125 YPVS could do 90 mph without any problem ,God I miss them old 2 Stroke days. Modern 125's these days are are just Hedgehogs
These new Chinese bikes are surprisingly AMAZING with almost no maintenance and with great reliability. You would really be surprised and considering the cost....they are a no brainer (I have a one year old 50cc Romet, just a cheap Chinese thing that arrived in a box...2000k later...ZERO issues..starts in 1 second every single time).
Why? These machines are incredible and a far better (and more reliable) option than many other brands. Certainly not Japanese quality engine or components....but nothing really is.
I've had one of these since August - went back yesterday - great little bike!
Look forward to your review vid. 😉
Let's hope for an after-lockdown Christmas special!!

Will you review the mutt?
A trick : you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
If you are watching this in 2024 it’s better now. Bit more poke with 14hp

That was my only worrry thank you for clearing uo
Yours is the first and only video to talk about the braking. Top marks for an actual review with useful insights.
Never thought I’d see 5 uploads in such a short period of time, without compromising the amazing quality. You’re killing it. Hope you’re getting a decent rest at night :P
Haha thanks mate! It's been a busy week but enjoying all the new bikes

Be interested to know how the Mutt Razorback compares to this. That’s a pretty bike and claims to have a bit more power than the Herald.
What about Mutt Fat Sabbath?
Problem is the crappy parts the fixings rust badly

Has pleasant traditional design/styling elements. Not crazy beaked space insect styling.
50mph on the motorway? Yer alright Rob thanks!
I believe Im right in saying this - everywhere within the M25 is a sub 40 limit so one of these, it's all you need!

147kg for a 125😟? And only 50mph top speed ?..not even 60? ...now I feel more happy with my beta alp200 only 118kg wet.
Oh now that is PURDY. A really smart looking bike for a surprisingly decent price. Shame it sounds a LITTLE bit like a lawnmower, but what can you do with a 125?
properly attractive little bike, good proportions and distinct and striking image. big thumbs up
Herald are making beautiful bikes
I had a yamaha 125 Enduro back in the 70s top end 80 mph not for me but you got to review them all I get it
I just wonder, why so many 125cc Scramblers don't have 15 HP.
Love the look of this bike! Great design. How is the network of parts and service in Italy for this bike? Warranty?
looks great fun headlights looks like something out of a pink floyd lightening show happy with my cb125r at mo
What a nice looking bike!😍🤩
What a good looking bike. My first bike was a 200cc Yamaha in 1975. This is much prettier and a far nicer shade of orange.
It does look very good style wise. Not sure I could go back to a 125 again .
Now a 250cc to 350cc with 20 ish BHP just to scoot around town, nice and cheap , and that I wouldn't mind leaving outside under a cover could be interesting .
No the Herald 250s feel like a Japanese 125. Fun around town though, but the 400s would be better if they did them in the same style.
I saw one of these today and they look nice.
I see Herald are doing a Brat 250 as well.. The Brute 500 looks like it could be fun :-)
What do you think about herald classic 125cc ? And do you know what it’s top speed is ?
I was wondering why were you reviewing a custom. With a few touch ups it'll look even better.
Dumb question but you guys think they would ship to USA? We don’t have that many good 125 motorcycles here lol mad jealous
Great review and a fab looking bike.
Can you do review of the herald br400i?great review and nice bike!
You can ride this on a CBT? Don't know if the bike would suit L-Plates. Great video.
L plates make all bikes look crap in my opinion.
would like to see your opinion on the mutt 250!
Listen up the hp is to low increase it and I would gladly buy its a super looking bike
I have the same bike in mexico
But it sells with different specs
For example here it sells with a 250 cc engine
I hope it will come to Holland, would be a nice second bike
You can buy it in Europe....Search for Zipp Scrambler 125, it is the same bike....
Have cbt booked for end of may, guys should I get a 125 to learn as I carry on lessons or just wait till can get on bigger bikes?
Such a beautiful bike! I don’t think they sell these in Switzerland :(
Isn't it the same bike as ZIPP Scrambler 125 in Poland?
It's like if Duke 125 & Svartpilen had a baby, this might be it.
Totally!
That exhaust its soo cool.
Would you recommend this to a brand new rider JW?
50 mph from a 125?Thats awful.....Back in the day a RXS100 Yammie would go far faster! But it looks good though.
I know 6 months late, but I agree with you on that. I had a RXS100 and i was racing a lad who had a tzr 125, he said fck that's quick for 100. It would beat any these new bikes today.
This bike is too beautiful for 125cc
KTM 200 Duke isn’t that bad at all (even though in America you can start on a liter bike if you wanted smh)
Started on a 1200. No complaints.
Wo kann man das Motorrad in Deutschland bestellen und was kostet es ?
Need this motorcycle in Malaysia 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Does look good but comparing it to other cheaper 125s the only place it can actually compete is looks. Compared to other cheap 125s its underpowered, heavey and overpriced. I love my mutt super 4 but damn this looks amazing
If youre 5’8 will this be too high.??
Very sharp little bike
Would you recommend this to a 17 year old?
I'll take it.
Which year model is this?
Top speed?
Website says 14 bhp ????
this should be a 250cc
There's a 250 on the way, and they're working on a similarly styled 500 as well
Very nice !
Id have one if it was a 250 or 300
Looks fantastic, although I'm not a fan of those gp style exhaust. Really though, surely a 125 should be making close to 14bhp in this day and age. You are right about linked brakes. I have no faith in Chinesium engines either.
if anyone is buying this bike please please change the tires. they are also prone to rust. apart from that its a good bike

Third ;) hope your keeping well Rob
Smoky start
Looks a bit like my XSR 700 haha
Ehe brakes are awesome
No ABS ?
Frank Berbée No.Combined breaks.
Es una copia de la mitt scrambler 125
It ia a good looking bike.
Lol 50mph top speed my old Suzuki ap50 could go faster than that and my RD125 YPVS could do 90 mph without any problem ,God I miss them old 2 Stroke days. Modern 125's these days are are just Hedgehogs
If it could at least do 60mph it might be more of an option
It does
Yeah my 125 is a old derbi mulhacen and it does 70 comfortably
I reckon this bike would be similar or at worst 65-68 due to it being heavier
Think I saw 27 in a 20????
The question is: Is the build quality shit?
These new Chinese bikes are surprisingly AMAZING with almost no maintenance and with great reliability. You would really be surprised and considering the cost....they are a no brainer (I have a one year old 50cc Romet, just a cheap Chinese thing that arrived in a box...2000k later...ZERO issues..starts in 1 second every single time).
🎉♥️♥️♥️💪💪💪💪 dammmnn
Lmao It's an amazon special bike...
British brand with a Chinese engine,,, yukkk Indian bikes are way better,,,
"Chinese built engine".... stopped watching.
You won't be watching much then.
Ooh, you’re hard...
did you expect japanese or italian when you clicked on the video?
@@maxhoward423 Brent quote?
