This has to be my favorite of the four, it's just so pitch-perfect as a Bad Future song. That brass instrument coming in and playing the Act 2 melody is so good. I hope you do more Past Present Future EPs like this. It's a great experiment in music design! So many songs from S3K can work in this pattern you established where Act 1 is Present/Past, and Act 2 is used for both Futures.
And I don't want to backseat drive here or anything, but just saying... imagine a 4 part EP like this but for Carnival Night, Ice Cap, or Launch Base, and the Past song uses some of the beta version's melodies? Heck yeah.
Where the comfy Present gave us a peaceful summer island, the Bad Future ran through all that pesky nature and transformed into a massive dark rave party. I love it.

This is an absolutely amazing arrange of Angel Island theme and I want to have it on loop, for when I do important stuff, near its culmination... THAT being said, it always seems, that whenever I find a awe-inspiring piece of music, there's always some artist choice interwoven within, that slightly derails the experience. That. 0:53 What is that? Is it a cymbal, or a sound effect of some sort? It sounds like a deep nasal inhale of a stuffy nose occurring twice 👃👃, like someone turning up to the record booth with a running nose, but coming to the conclusion that if they snort up the phlegm to the beat of the music, it won't go _as_ noticed _(happens for the first time here __0:41__ a single time)._ Maybe it's just me, since I played games in the past that had enemies with "idle noises" of them doing rhythmic "snorting" and I always go up to dispatch of these, so I could sit back down and enjoy the wonderful music, so mayhaps it is simply PTSD on my part, but these remix is absolutely formidable otherwise.

When sonic enters the bad future of angel island zone, the whole place has been turned into a facility for makeshift gaming consoles and other devices to sell on the black market, ebay, amazon, ect. Sonic has to be careful not to get chopped up in the console makers, jump over spikey metal plants and, spindash over robotizisers and, of course, crack open all of the improved badniks and robots. Sonic then realised that at the end of each act, there was still a tiny amount of life left, though it was too late, eggman has already moved on to hydrocity! Sonic needs to hurry and get out of the, already destroyed, metal environment and head over to hydrocity quickly and in time, otherwise he would have more trouble to deal with, stronger badniks to fight and lost memeories.
A lot of people have made their attempt at sonic CD style arrangements but you probably have come the closest to being as authentic as possible

100% agree. This sounds like an actual Sonic CD Bad Future track. Everything from the soundfont choices to the arrangement structure is spot on.
