This draft only had 3 All-NBA players and you managed to not draft one of them. Obviously Oladipo should have been 3rd. Robert Covington also should be here. I also would rather have Seth Curry rather than Plumlee, but that's just me.
Yeah, that was my bad. Oladipo actually should be redrafted into the top 5. I scratched him off my list as being unavailable after removing him with the #2 pick.
You had me until you said Adams has declined in recent years. Have you been watching 👀......no you haven't. Which recent years this year, last year, his New Orleans year or his last year at OKC. New Orleans used him terribly and so his stats went done.
Been here since the beginning. This channel is gonna blow up. For some reason i didn't get the noti for this video BUT since it was uploaded 7 days ago the 2014 draft class video should be out soon. Good idea to do this series
Giannis, Gobert..oladipo how is that underwhelming..? Best Milwaukee Bucks Draft ever..aside from Lew Alcindor. Just because your team sucks balls its underwhelming?
I remember that draft well - Wizards had the 3rd pick, so I looked into the players carefully. Some thoughts: 1. I was hoping for Oladipo or Porter at #3, and so was happy the Wizards got Porter. They both were worthy lottery picks (although not top 3, but more like 4-8 in a more typical lottery). Both were quite good, but simply ran into injury problems. That's the way it goes in the NBA. Porter was really good with the Wizards - I was sad to see him go. Great guy... glad he got himself a ring. 2. I was terrified of Bennett - he had bust written all over him. Never trust the will to win of a player who doesn't at least try his best on defense! I was ecstatic when the Cavs took him first.... the Wizards then couldn't screw that up, and Cavs shot themselves in the foot. 3. If Oladipo and Porter were gone, I wanted Len. Heart over head... he was a Maryland player. And he had potential, although draft picks are always a roll of the dice, and he never reached what seemed possible. 4. If Oladipo and Porter were gone - and head over heart - I wanted Gobert: high floor, huge ceiling. The NBA isn't as physical as previous decades, so his girth didn't worry the way it would've in the past. Although now a center, KD ain't exactly had a lot of problems in the NBA. I saw his clips, and there was no doubt that Gobert would be a starting center that was an elite defender at a minimum. Zero bust potential. 5. If Oladipo and Porter were gone - heart over head - I was kinda hoping for Giannis. Seriously. I saw the clips, and he was as freakishly athletic and, importantly, smooth and coordinated, as everyone knows. He hadn't played against elite talent, and his skills weren't there yet, so it would be a swing-for-the-fences-on-a-freak-athlete-developing hope. I'm normally opposed to that, but he really stood out as something special physically. Sometimes you wanna buy a lotto ticket just for the pleasant daydreams. Boy, did the Bucks dreams ever come true!
Giannis is the best player by default. A testament to how soft the NBA has gotten. In 90s basketball they forced you to make jump shots. The game is too European today.
Yeah, Jordan was really famous for those jump shots of his. If coaches were tactically smarter and had the players, there would have been more jump shooting, which would have opened up lanes. Shaq and Kareem have both said if they played today, they'd play like Giannis. Defenses grabbed a lot because they just weren't good defenders. Six expansion teams with no added overseas players really diluted the average talent level of teams. Notice how Kawhii, when healthy, can lock down anybody without grabbing and bumping.
@@recoil53 I’m glad you mentioned Kawhi because in his prime he defended like Jordan but still not as good. Jordan averaged 3 steals & 1.5 blocks back to back seasons. That’s other worldly for a 2 guard. And this soft crap today is not what grew the sport. Bring physicality back to the sport & watch those 3 percentages drop significantly. Shaq can say what he wants now because he’ll never play again. But if he played today he wouldn’t change because they call fouls more frequently. Why jeopardize your dribble on the perimeter? Shaq drew so many fouls & would score 30. He was better than Giannis. He had more touch around the rim.
@@fatesandgates It's a lot easier to get steals when you can bump players - same with blocks. Now those would be called fouls. So you see it was a lot easier for Jordan.
LOL PLUMLEE, OTTO PORTER, KCP AND SCHRODER OVER OLADIPO???? WTFFFF???
Plumlord

Giannis might have made an All NBA team or two.

@@And.One.Hoops1yea Oladipo gotta be in here. Great channel. Keep uploading content. 10k is up next bro 🤙🏾👌🏾
1. Antetokukumpo. 2. Mc Collum 3. Gobert 4. S. Adam 5.Shrouder 6.Pope 7.

Chicago Bulls Legend Otto Porter Jr.
Moneybags Otto Porter Jr.!
😆😆😆😆
KCP behind Schroeder, Olynyk, and OPJ at 8 is insane.
Oh heck yeah this series is gonna be awesome!!
Cavs legend Anthony Bennett
😂
Definitely well known
I see you coming up~ love hoops content fresh sub here! God I hope my nuggets can pull one out for me this year
Thanks!! Really appreciate it! And best of luck to your nuggets
I still don’t know why CLE took Bennett. He was projected to go around 10. How does a guy projected at 10 go 1??
Not my cup of tea - looking at draft classes in the past for me is like the longing for the spilt wine...
Otherwise I like this channel very much ...
Lol, well I appreciate the honesty. I personally love stuff like this, but I know it’s not for everyone

Giannis looks so good in cavs jersey NGL
This draft really sucked 😂😂😂😂

Shaq?
Shaq’s dominance was authentic because he had post moves & touch. But Giannis just runs to the rim & dunk because the lanes are open.

Rudy Gobert 2nd overall is a joke. Stop making basketball videos.
