    I don’t know how, but whenever I identify an issue in my technique, you upload a video on how to fix it. Best weightlifting channel on youtube!

    Thank you Zack. I just began my solo weightlifting journey less than a month ago, at home after years of admiring others. Been following you for a while but only recently have I seen the value in your entire video library, I can’t thank you enough

    The clean is much more complex than it seems. I remember the only cue my highschool coach gave was "just explode up!" While that's true, it causes ugly and outright dangerous form.
    Thank you for your detailed and comprehensive guides🙏

    You continue to post seminal pieces on the cues and biomechanics of the lifts - I agree with prior comment. I would not that your previous video about your back problem, where you worked with the physical therapist to engage your lower core/pelvic floor, was reinforced by the video on flat back instead of arch when pulling and squatting/catching a clean or snatch. This is THE SECRET to correct engagement of the glutes that few ever find! I wish I had discovered this “trick” 40 years ago! Please consider a post that integrates these concepts, as it may be lost on some people. Great job Zack!

    LOL, that meme killed me. Zack, I am not sure you will see this but i love your content. You are a fantastic resource and a great example of olympic weightlifting in terms of the way you carry yourself, your training, depth of knowledge, and your unique talent to make olympic weightlifting relatable to young athletes. Thank you!

    Love this video. Came at a perfect time for me, was having this exact issue with my snatch earlier this week and it was so frustrating. Turns out I was jumping forward and doing what you showed your client was doing with his clean. I will definitely keep this in mind today when I go for oly! Thanks!

    How about the chinese lifters? Many lifters will extend backwards and draw their shoulders back, but sure they do manage to get their hips under. However the general approach is very different from the russian/eastern european appraoch.

    This is exactly why I can only do power cleans😂 literally everything is above 90 degrees. Can’t catch at 90 degrees or lower. Even my hang power cleans are better than my power cleans 😂

    Is putting focus where your hips go more beneficial than just focus on finishing your extension? Some people naturally have fast twitch muscle fibers vs others, or no?

    • @MrPureruckus
      @MrPureruckus 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That has nothing to do with technique man. This is a technique issue not a muscle fiber type issue lol

      Jordan Brown ur comment is confusing.

    • @MrPureruckus
      @MrPureruckus 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yewsh muscle fiber type doesn't have a correlation to technique. This video was about technique to help your clean. Your the one who mentioned fiber types lol. Fiber types relates more to a sprinter vs a powerlifter as opposed to how someone does a clean lol
