I got my 2020 Passport EX-L 2 months ago. Had a Pilot, CRV and others in the past. Really very happy with my Passport. Very comfortable and great view of road ahead from driver's seat. I didn't need a 3rd row and I like the Passport styling a little more than the Pilot. Either is a great choice.
Wheelbase is the exact same. Passport actually has a bigger second row, according to mfg. specs. If I'm not mistaken, the Pilot shares the same wheel dimensions with the Sport and EXL Passport models and fuel economy is unchanged.
I've happy owning a 2019 Honda passport elite odyssey blue love how it looks exterior appearance with the blue color and the black wheels. Inside interior when it comes to space very spacious in the back for the backseats passagers plenty of knee and leg rooms roomy. Steering wheel it has good feel to it a nice leather and it electric steering very light. It drive very smooth and refined a comfortable ride feel like I am sitting higher on the driver seat.
Darkaray To my understanding is that the Passport is tuned different or a bit aggressive at lower RPM that’s why on paper they have different MPG but same HP but owners claimed better MPG as advertised I’m a 2019 Pilot 6spd owner and I do noticed the Passport has better acceleration than mine.
Passport looks classier in the rear with the exposed twin exhausts and beefier black wheels and second row is more spacious. Love it! The Pilot looks better in the front though but second row is cramped. $5000 is too much to ask only for an extra row and rear seat dvd system.
Ben, We are Baby Boomers with no small kids. So the lack of a DVD player , caban talk and 3nd row is ok with us. I really think you did a GREAT job here.
The Honda Passport has a lower gear ratio than the Pilot, that's why the difference in fuel mileage. The Passport was designed to be more off-road vehicle than the Pilot.
Have my honda civic hatchback sport touring 2020 plan to change to passport or pilot, need more power specially on winter need AWD any advice which good?
Terence H Not everyone noticed that, the Passport is tuned different than the Pilot that’s why the MPG are different on paper but some say they get better MPG than advertised on the Passport. I’m happy with my 2019 6spd Pilot
Bro off the bat just mention the amount of seating. That’s the main difference people who come here to see. Design, build, no one cares lol. Just the seatsv
This is kind of silly imo, most people looking at the Pilot are doing so because it has the 3rd row. The Passport does not have a 3rd row. These aren't really in the same class, so a comparison doesn't really make sense. CRV to Passport? Maybe more apples to apples.
I just test drove the 2020 Highlander it’s not any superior to Honda’s. the 3rd row is useless and the V6 revs really high @4000 rpm but the suv is still below 60km it is really sluggish.
@@MrAjay3234 . Yes!!! I absolutely agree. The third row is useless in the Highlander and with most coming with captain chairs your seating is actually limited to four adult people.
We had a Pilot and loved it but traded it in as we didn’t need all that space (3rd row), have a crv now and love it but looking into another suv. I can’t justify the Passport at the same price as the Pilot. Less features same price.

It’s the passport for me! My Honda Fit saved my sisters life after a terrible accident, she survived. Honda’s are built to perfection.
Honda Passport for me It only depends if u need a 5 or 7 passengers SUV

Matt Landers the Passport is 6.2 inches shorter than the Pilot. If you don’t need a third row, the Passport is an excellent choice.
They both have the same wheelbase 111 inches

I believe the passport sits hire, more air under, possibly the reason for less mpg?
Darkaray makes sense

Why do they make both? Arent they the same car?
No, the pilot is bigger. 3 rows vs 2.

2022 front is same as Ridgeline😍😍😍
Another reason imo that passport wins is the middle seat in the 2nd row.

Spaceentity
Not true if both 9spd are the same 2nd Generation unless the Pilot has a 6spd then it different
“Hey bro can I copy your homework”
“Ya sure just change it up a bit”
Way too many commercials. Both are very nice vehicles.
Pilot just looks a little better to me.
Wouldn't the heavier Pilot get the worse fuel economy?
Pilot is lower to the ground
Passport please love that SUV BA BY!!
They could have atleast changed the door handles or something, to make it look distinctively different.
The pilots 2nd row doesnt move to allow access for 3rd row

$57,000 for the loaded Touring edition in Canada?!
I’m still ordering a MB GLC 43 AMG.
Annual maintenance is probably where u save
Passport for me !!!
The Passport is a nicer vehicle as I test drove both and thought the Pilot was a bit slow and chunky.

I would be a passport guy on this one, it looks sportier! Even if it costs more.😁
Erik Racz it does

Same wheelbase
I wish new Honda engines had the same starter sound like Hondas from the 90s.
Corey's Captivating Car Reviews that would be nice
Passport 8 inches off the ground better off road you mentioned non of that smfh🤦♂️
DVD in 2020!! Honda needs to put a least a Blu-Ray player in the Pilot, especially if they want $5000 more.
FYI, he misspoke, It is a Blu Ray
well done.
Passport for me
I’ll take neither. I’ll take the 2020 Highlander and RAV4 over these
Mr. C.G.O 🤔🤔
Ben Hardy It’s just something about Honda that throws me off
Rented the 2019 Rav4 for a 800 miles trip. It drove like shit. And i found the overall styling uninspiring.

In Canada anyways its the same price
A serious choice) Look at the review of uaz patriot, worth $ 24,000, here it’s better to overpay $ 10,000 and buy a normal car)
The passport is a negative for me
why?
Husband & Wife 😀
