I am so tired of people absolutely having to insert romance into the relationship between Frodo and Sam when they are literally just dudes who got each other's backs for the sake of the entire world.
Describing Frodo and Sam as "just dudes who got each other's backs" because of circumstance is going way too far in the other direction. Frodo and Sam are depicted as more attached to each other than any other companion pair in the book, and by a LOT. I completely understand people reading about Sam weeping and stroking Frodo's hand while he recovers in the Last Homely House or Sam living a prototypical straight life before leaving at the end of his days to rejoin his Old Roommate as a form lustless love when the only intended romance in the story (Aragorn and Arwen) is stunted yearning. The OG Trilogy are my favorite movies of all time. Theoden's last ride at the battle of Minas Tirith gives me chills to this day. Loved the review and glad you got to finally experience the franchise!
Theoden's last ride as an ultimate sacrifice is narratively undercut by the the zerg rush from the Dead. He and the Riders of Rohan would have been better off if they had just arrived a few hours later. The Dead don't (can't) do this in the book so Theoden's sacrifice is more impactful.
its honestly so nice to see someone with no knowledge of the franchise really go into it like this with an open mind and appreciate it for what it is. I'm only 30 and i remember watching all of these movies in theatres with my family when they came out, and the love every single audience member had for them. The original Trilogy will always be the GOAT. Great video and breakdown!
i wish that the directors of the modern films/show took the same time and passion that PJ did for the first, and didnt over CGI it as much as they have. The immersion and attention to detail was what made the original trilogy shine.
What I'm really happy about as a Tolkien scholar is that in spite of modern fashion of sympathetic villains, you got exactly how this Dark Lord force of nature works, and how lesser villains (the Nazgul, Shelob, Gollum and primarily Saruman for the first two movies) complement the presence of Sauron. Reading the books, you'll see that's also how the protagonists work - the hobbits serve as a reader stand in and main characters of the story, while other heroes represent various archetypes, often very complex, but with less character development. Well, waiting for follow up video about books...
17:46 Even though the Hobbit movies came out after the Lord of the Rings movies, the Hobbit book was written before the Lord of the Rings books. That’s why the story feels more complete and meaningful. They didn’t try to squeeze it in, it already existed when Lord of the Rings was being created.
I completely agree that the romance between Kili and Tauriel was just horrible and made no sense. What I think should have happened is that the romance should have been between Legolas and Tauriel, but have Tauriel die which then leads to Legolas leaving and setting it up for him to join the fellowship. I also just say this because I've always felt bad for Legolas's character, his mom dies when he's young, his dad doesn't really care about him, he can't get with the girl he likes, and he's basically a background character in the OG series with only a few cool fighting scenes and dialogue between him and Aragorn or Gimli.
90% of the hobbit moves are filler I wish they stuck to the book made it 1 or 2 movies and made it Ames a little more at kids like the book was as it was written as a story Tolkien could tell his kids before bed. The necromancer was based on the silmarilian witch I think rings of power should have been based off of
If it wasnt such a straight forward video i would think he was saying their names wrong on purpose as a joke or something. Doesnt take away from the video really, but it is kind of jarring to hear lol.
"Isengard Tower"... Orthanc, please! But for real, props to him for trying it's hard and if it is the first time with some of these names I understand it
hearing someone new butchering the names of characters is one of the most genuine, good hearted things I've heard. Actually made me smile and happy that you finally watched and enjoyed the trilogy!
Dude thanks for the shout-out 🤯🙌, I watched the Lord of the Rings movies for the first time a few months ago with my friends and yeah these movies are amazing definitely S Tier and I might watch The Hobbit movies maybe one day we'll see and Rings of Power nah I'm good 😂
something too that wasn't mentioned much was how amazing the music is in these films. A+++ it's some of the best music i've ever heard for a film series. And hot take, I recommend first time viewers to watch the theatrical versions FIRST, then watch the extended versions later on.
I have to disagree with you big-time! I think the theatrical cuts mess up pacing and continuity in the movies, additionally I would always tell everyone to watch a movie how the director wanted it to be, not how the studio wanted to shorten it for cinemas
@@joramsim for first time viewers the theatrical cut is better paced. Especially in movies 1 and 2, a lot of the extended edition stuff is not really needed for a first time viewer.
@@joramsim I prefer the extended editions myself (except for "Battle of the Five Armies"), but Peter Jackson has said that the theatrical versions are actually his director's cuts, but that he created the extended editions so people could have a more in-depth version to watch at home. Occasionally he'll say that he wishes he had kept a particular scene in the theatrical version (the one that springs to mind is the scene at the Green Dragon in FotR, which IMO improves the pacing of the first part of that movie in such a way that it makes it feel shorter rather than longer), but for the most part the theatrical cuts are the ones he's happy with.
Nothing will ever beat the original trilogy, I just finished watching the extended ROTK last night after not having seen it in a decade or so. Those movies meant everything to me when I was a teenager. And The Hobbit films aren't NEARLY as bad as some people claim them to be, especially when you consider the tumultous circumstances and the stress Peter was under while making them. He was thrown in at the absolute last moment to try and steer the ship as it was barrelling down the river. It's a miracle they're as decent as they ended up being, despite a few goofy moments here and there. That silly Tauriel/Kili romance is absolutely the product of studio interference.
And continues to get better with time. I dream of a renaissance where producers say fuck it and spend the money to put this much love and effort in other films
Bro the first time I've cried for a movie was this franchise. Especially at the end with the crowning of Aragorn and how everyone bows as he makes his walk, then gets to the Hobbits and before they bow he says, "My friends, you bow to no one" and he and everyone bows to them. God dammit that scene gave me goosebumps and made me cry my eyes out❤
The fact that you never mention the books and the originale lore of middle earth is sad. Reviewing the franchise without the true knowledge of Tolkiens world is in my opinion worthless…
Lord of the rings is one of the few franchises that transcends its genre. Know lots of people who think orcs/elves and high fantasy in general is 'dorky' but love the movies.
Man, it actually scares me that there's people out there who absolutely love RoP, they love it more than PJs LOTR and think its more lore accurate. These people are not fkn human I swear
I mean, your complaint about Smaug not being present at the end of the battle is something to take up with Tolkein. But I see it this way- he's not the end boss. He's a power vacuum. His death sets in motion the battle that commences- without it, the battle doesn't happen anyway.
I recently watched the third movie in theaters for the first time. I’d seen it several times, long-term fan, but missed the movie releases. Man was it worth the movie ticket. The big screen did so many good things for it. Watching Gandalf ride out to save the soldiers fleeing the Nazgul from Osgiliath actually felt like you were there riding behind Gandalf. It was a thrilling experience. Great reviews brother! Agreed all the way bar a couple minor details maybe. Definitely agree on Rings of bleh though. 😂
'I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.' -Faramir, Captain of Gondor and Prince of Ithilen..
Great video. Also small thing at 12:48. That wasn't just a black rider aka Nazgul. That was the Witch-king of Angmar the chief of the Nazgul and Sauron's great captain in his wars. The most powerful black rider and the one that stabbed Frodo nearly turning him into a wraith. Needless to say she was her and stroke a pivotal blow against Sauron.
You keep comparing the dwarves to the “original gang” even though when the books were being written, the dwarves were the original gang. The fellowship was created later.
you definitely forgot to mention 2 moments that had me standing up like i had to fight orcs and uru khais: when theoden and his army of cavalry are about to charge in the third movie and he screams “DEATH” and then they all scream as they ride into the scared orcs. the other is the speech that aragorn gives at the end of the third in the battle to give time to frodo and sam to destroy the one ring, where he says of how the age of men won’t end that day and stuff like that. truly THE best movies of ALL TIME
Guillermo was the main director of The Hobbit movies and spent years working on it but the studio kept putting him in limbo not allowing him to start filming which frustrated him to a point he left the project, he got replaced by Peter Jackson who got three months to carry out all of Guillermo's planning. For context Peter Jackson was given numerous years in the planning of LOTR and here he was more or less forced to use whatever Guillermo's vision was or use CGI to change it.
Its the grand daddy of high fantasy. Without it, Game of Thrones, Harry potter, and many many others WOULD NOT EXIST! its a classic good vs evil franchise. as for rings of power.. its okay to watch.I always warn people to dont put too much hate in a new iteration because if it DOESN'T DO WELL, it doesn't encourage other studios to give it a shot. and even if it kinda sucks rings of power is still a good watch and entertaining.. i had no issues watching it despite its flaws.. It was great to learn about the orcs, see Numenor etc.
I really disliked the rings of power and thought it was really bad. But I am still thankful for its existence for this exact reason. I hope it accomplishes the same thing the Disney Star Wars sequels do, even if they are not good it reignites peoples passion to see good content from that universe again and leads too the creation of so much more. I don’t think rings of power has to be received well to encourage others to make more, I think the shows existence in itself is enough to get people wanting more good lord of the rings. We have already seen new projects like war of the rohirrim coming out so that’s what I’m hoping is next for the lord of the rings.
When your discussing the Hobbit, I feel like you don’t realize that the Lord of The Rings, and the Hobbit are books, adopted into movies, the original book for the Hobbit, was a book, not a 3 movie series. For some context, JRR Tolkien wrote the Hobbit before he wrote Lord of The Rings, and it was meant as a children’s book, where as the lord of the rings was much more mature. That’s why in the hobbit you have scenes like the trolls, where they are clearly there to be more comedic rather than an actual threat. Another important thing, is that the Orc guy, Azor whatever his name was, did not exist in the books, nor did the Elf guard who fell in love with the dwarf, or alot of other things. The film makers really embellished a lot to add more screen time. The main antagonists of the hobbit was smog in the books, but also, the necromaner, which, tho not explained in the movies, was Sauron. A lot of the lore of middle earth is realy interesting and sadly missed tho understandably missed in the movies. I would suggest reading the books to start, starting with the hobbit, which is super short, and if you like tolkiens writing, then get to enjoy the massive series that is lord of the rings. If you enjoy that then there are countless theories, online discussions etc, not mention the silmilirian (book that goes over the first age of middle earth as goes in depth on the gods and elves). There is a lot of lore to discover if you’re interested.
Fun fact: John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) didn’t like practicing for fight scenes so he would turn to the stunt guys that were playing the orcs and say something like “you come at me, you come at me, then you come at me, ok lets go” and they would tell him to try not to hit them because it hurts and they can just act like it hit them. He would hit every last one of them😂😂
I have seen many movies, and I hold to this day that the original lord of the rings is my favorite of any that I have seen. The hobbit, from my understanding, was put together more quickly and on a tighter budget than the originals, but I still felt it generally kept the spirit of the original trilogy. I enjoyed the hobbit series. I don't know about rings of power, though. I never watched it. As soon as I heard who was producing it, I knew it would probably be terrible- and from what I heard, and from some clips of what I have seen, I was right. If the studio reserves the right to retcon a story, then I will reserve the right to deny it's legitimacy. Their drivel is an insult to the legacy of Tolkein.
The Original Lord of the Rings Trilogy from the story line to the battle scenes were absolutely EPIC!!!! I like the 2nd trilogy also but not has good as the original.. thanks for doing the series justice in your vid.. I hope people take the time out their day to see the original LOTR trilogy.. Those fight scene were amazing..
I would highly recommend the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War Games. They're not canon, but in their own seperate timeline they fit in between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings and are amazing games
I wouldn't call oscar winning movies sleeper just cause they arent milked and diluted is what protects it's greatness, we already see whats happening to rings of power. Aside from that great video
The original trilogy is a masterpiece that no other story can match. Watched it several times and all I can say - it is simply perfect. Waiting for extended versions of extended versions which will be released for 25th anniversary :)
Thank you! The Hobbit movies weren't bad and compared to most modern movies (Like the MCU) they're actually really good. They just didn't live up to the standard set by LotR
I remember when I watched FOTR the credits rolled and for the first 30 seconds there was silence. Then someone started clapping, and instantly the whole cinema applauded. I've never seen that happen since, and I don't expect I ever will. Seeing that film when it came out was just unbelievable
Saying that Aragorns lineage had shame is a bit reductive. Its not that his bloodline couldn't resist temptation that he had to separate himself from. The ring is incapable of being destroyed by a mortal and was only destroyed as a result of divine intervention
fun fact, when aragorn is fighting the troll at the end of the last battle in rotk, the troll is actually pasted over sauron. In the original cut before they changed it for release, aragorn actually was fighting sauron, but then they changed it.
Best movie Trilogy of all time. I can’t even think of a close second honestly. It’s just insane how a trilogy only gets better as it goes. Also, the best Hobbit movie imo was The Desolation of Smaug by far.
"My friends, you bow to no one." This scene will brake my brain if I see it. It is the best scene in movie history imo. The way it is perfectly tied in with Aragorn becoming king and just seeing how much respect they get after their long journey . . . bro its too good. Chills everytime. Im getting emotional just thinking about it. I dont care how much I am glazing it, its perfect
My family watched lotr and they loved it. I was like 1-3 years old, so I don't remember it. I ended up watching them a lot after I was a bit more older, like 5 or 4 years old. I agree with my family and yours, It's a fucking masterpiece that I will never forget about it until I lie on my deathbed
You're missing three films, films that have been made several years before that Lord of the rings trilogy. And total there's four Hobbit movies and five Lord of the rings movies. The first three movies made are animated. The animated Hobbit I think is better than the live action hobbits. The animated Hobbit for example has the eagles talking to our heroes. Which is perhaps one of my favorite scenes ever in all these movies.
As much as I like the extended editions, I do recommend the theatrical versions for first time watching. I feel that’s how even the biggest fans of these films got into it where we all saw the theatrical versions first, loved them and wanted more with the extended version. And that’s how I view the extended versions, if u just want more of this world.
This video intregues me as it's talked about like these never came from books. Especially with how the hobbit's climax being Smaug dying and not the war like the movies fixes a huge flaw you had. It's funny and cute in a way
Man I swore up and down I wouldn't even take the time to watch the rings of power. I'm a huge lord of the rings fan but I'm not a huge book reader. Maybe that's why people dislike rings of power but I just wanted to say after the first few episodes I really am liking Rings of power.
seeing the thumbnail I knew for a fact it was both click bait and trolling because return of the king being an F tier movie is probably the greatest joke anyone could ever tell
It's just so pure. Without marketing intentions, political opinions yada yada. It's just an apporach to make the best movie possible and through the circumstances that the crew actually lived over 1 year together, became friends and even family and brilliant minds behind it really became the best movie trilogy ever made.
By the way - you still should watch the 3 hours behind the scenes. It brings back what you are missing after finishing the movies and really cool side notes :)
well... Sauron's will, his escence, his evil prescence is tied to the One Ring, so technically Sauron is still the Main Villain and he is always there, lurking like an unseen but omnipresent force of nature. That is one of the things that makes Sauron one of, if not THE BEST villain ever.
@@D4rkn3ss2000 So yes they are bound together, but that doesn't automatically make Sauron the main villain. Sauron is the overarching villain, but that's a different thing. The Ring is the ever present antagonist. Constantly trying (and often succeeding...for a time at least) to twist and corrupt the "good guys". While it's not a perfect comparison, I like to think of it kind of like Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. The Emperor is Sauron,, the ever present and ominous threat that doesn't show itself very often before the finale. The Ring is Darth Vader, the constant threat that is always trying to corrupt the "hero" ( or "heroes" as the case may be).
the only problem I have with the first trilogy is how they changed the battle of Minas Tirith, it was a combined effort of all of the men of the west and Aragorn uniting them like the gigachad he is, instead they stole it with ghosts, like if 0 freaking men showed up they would still won, because the ghosts masacred everything. Not in the books baby, the ghost only caused fear in Pelargrir?, allowing the men to form up and win, then sail on Minas Tirith. Imo thats much more epic on showing bravery of men as whole and Aragorns character
Idk, but I like the hobbit because it gives me ''mom is telling me fairy tail right before bedtime'' vibes. It really feels nostalgic. And as a story I liked the hobbit more than lotr.
Lord of the Rings is the BEST movie franchise, no debate. It’s a hidden gem and although it may not be as popular as Marvel, DC, or Star Wars, it makes up for it tenfold. The little use of CGI in the LOTR movies makes it stand out as well. Tolkien’s books also outclass most pieces of literature
The issue with the hobbit movies is that Peter Jackson never actually wanted to do 3 movies but the studio made him which is why the 3rd movie felt so slow. Realistically it's nearly 3 hours of not a whole lot happening. Also massive agree with the romance in the 2nd/3rd movie. I legit can't be bothered to know the dwarf's name that died but as soon as he did and the elf started crying, the theater I was in for opening night started cheering. They're okay but I usually only watch the first 2 and don't bother with the 3rd. Really good video!
LOTR should be Harry Potter lvl of recognition. it legit won an oscar. and peter's movies were abt 4hrs long but you really could watch another 4hrs and not be bothered by it. i legit watched fellowship last night :D
The first 30 seconds tells me your age range. From 2001-2003, the Lord of the Rings was HUGE. It seemed like it was at the same level of hype as the Marvel movies. The difference is they did not immediately attempt the money grab after releasing RotK, so it was allowed to die down a bit.
@@DyliciousTakesYour pronunciation of names are excellent for a first-timer. If you are interested in the deeper lore behind LOTR, read the silmarillion. Also, there is a great youtube channel by the name of Wizards and Warriors. The grandiose events from the first age are my favourites.

17:46 Even though the Hobbit movies came out after the Lord of the Rings movies, the Hobbit book was written before the Lord of the Rings books. That’s why the story feels more complete and meaningful. They didn’t try to squeeze it in, it already existed when Lord of the Rings was being created.
Agree though I wish they didn’t alter so much my the book for the movies
@@tis_unsaid agreed
The necromancer was based on the silmarilian witch I think rings of power should have been based off of
"theo-din", "eeo-mare", and "eeo-win" really hurt me
same lmao they literally said the names and this dude gets so much wrong
Hahaha it was a good video but I don’t think he pronounced a single name right 😭
If it wasnt such a straight forward video i would think he was saying their names wrong on purpose as a joke or something. Doesnt take away from the video really, but it is kind of jarring to hear lol.
@@jacobmilbrath4923 it legit does feel like he's doing it on purpose lmao the pain
"Isengard Tower"... Orthanc, please!
But for real, props to him for trying it's hard and if it is the first time with some of these names I understand it
Pirates Trilogy was 2000 too remember that, it is crazy how much good stuff came out back then!
Deadman's chest still holds up to this day, I love that movie.

My favourite one, and somewhat underrated: "I go to my fathers, in whose mighty company I shall not now feel ashamed."
this whole fucking franchise made me cry, especially the end
hearing someone new butchering the names of characters is one of the most genuine, good hearted things I've heard. Actually made me smile and happy that you finally watched and enjoyed the trilogy!
Dude thanks for the shout-out 🤯🙌, I watched the Lord of the Rings movies for the first time a few months ago with my friends and yeah these movies are amazing definitely S Tier and I might watch The Hobbit movies maybe one day we'll see and Rings of Power nah I'm good 😂
No problem man! These movies are s tier no doubt
Watch the extended editions of the hobbit. theatrical version is kinda meh
@@griffinpeters38 thanks for the recommendation dude , appreciate it.
something too that wasn't mentioned much was how amazing the music is in these films.
@@anthonybernacchi2732 I could go either way. For first time viewers tho I do recommend the theatrical cut
The Lord of the Rings trilogy is the best franchise ever made
And continues to get better with time. I dream of a renaissance where producers say fuck it and spend the money to put this much love and effort in other films
Best trilogy maybe , franchise not so much
Bro the first time I've cried for a movie was this franchise. Especially at the end with the crowning of Aragorn and how everyone bows as he makes his walk, then gets to the Hobbits and before they bow he says, "My friends, you bow to no one" and he and everyone bows to them. God dammit that scene gave me goosebumps and made me cry my eyes out❤
i dont think ive ever started to tear up during a tier list. well done.
Means a lot 😭😭
“But you know what is terrible?”
Bro effin sent me hahahaha
It makes sense that the Hobbut wouldn’t be as well-made. The Lord of the Rings was written after, so Tolkien truly knew what he was doing by then
The Aragorn and Arwen scene in the first movie. You know which one. Has permanently changed my standard of love and companionship
Return of the king is S++. Two towers is S+. Fellowship is S. All the hobbits are Hardstuck A.
Well, that kinda makes sense, since Tolkien literary invented modern Fantasy with his books. So it is high fantasy in its purest form
Man, it actually scares me that there's people out there who absolutely love RoP, they love it more than PJs LOTR and think its more lore accurate.
These people are not fkn human I swear
I can't watch the original trilogy without crying like 50 times. The emotional toll those movies give me is masterclass.
One of the reasons to have kids is to see their faces for the first time watching LOTR
I love only that which they defend.'
-Faramir, Captain of Gondor and Prince of Ithilen..
Completely agree on the ranking. As soon as you put an unexpected journey in B, I was like "He'll put Desolation in A and 5 armies in B"
Incredible video
Can't believe you only have 4.7 k subs

Thanks a ton! glad you're here!
Watching TH-cam reviews reminds me of nobody reads anymore. Imagine seeing the movies before reading The Hobbit.
Everyobody wants a friend like Sam, but nobody wants to be a friend like Sam

"Everyone needs a friend like Sam in their life"
No, we should all strive to BE a friend like Sam to others
you definitely forgot to mention 2 moments that had me standing up like i had to fight orcs and uru khais: when theoden and his army of cavalry are about to charge in the third movie and he screams “DEATH” and then they all scream as they ride into the scared orcs. the other is the speech that aragorn gives at the end of the third in the battle to give time to frodo and sam to destroy the one ring, where he says of how the age of men won’t end that day and stuff like that. truly THE best movies of ALL TIME
Wait til Christmas, an anime style movie comes out “War of the Rohirrin”

Guillermo was the main director of The Hobbit movies and spent years working on it but the studio kept putting him in limbo not allowing him to start filming which frustrated him to a point he left the project, he got replaced by Peter Jackson who got three months to carry out all of Guillermo's planning. For context Peter Jackson was given numerous years in the planning of LOTR and here he was more or less forced to use whatever Guillermo's vision was or use CGI to change it.
First one was the best film as a stand alone.
Second one has the best battle. Third one was the most epic one
He would hit every last one of them😂😂
'Concerning hobbit' is the best thing ever happened in lotr trilogy
You deserve the diamond playbutton ❤
Such a good video dude. These movies will always be my favourite, my family has always loved them too. They definitely need more recognition!
14:15 Frodo had the ring for 17 years, but most of the time he didnt know what that ring is and he carried the ring into mordor for about a year.
The timeline was changed for the move so it all happens in about a year but in the books it’s like 27 years total between the first and last page
I would highly recommend the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War Games. They're not canon, but in their own seperate timeline they fit in between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings and are amazing games
By 2010, there were 3 people in Botswana and 7 people in Outer Mongolia who had not seen the full LotR trilogy.
I wouldn't call oscar winning movies sleeper just cause they arent milked and diluted is what protects it's greatness, we already see whats happening to rings of power. Aside from that great video
There isn’t a better trilogy then the original 3 Peter Jackson’s films. And I’m a Star Wars fan!
The costumes in the original lotr trilogy are amazing, the new costumes seen in rings of power just can’t compare
To say that TLOTR doesnt get the recongniztion it deserves is such a WILD statement.
@9:44 e-owen, that's one way to say it lmaooo
You have NEVER WATCHED LOTR before this?
Fr
Yeah this was my first time!
I remember when I watched FOTR the credits rolled and for the first 30 seconds there was silence. Then someone started clapping, and instantly the whole cinema applauded. I've never seen that happen since, and I don't expect I ever will. Seeing that film when it came out was just unbelievable
Best part of Rings of Power is the Balrog waking up. When Sauron finally reveals himself thats good other then that the show isnt good.
"Tauriel and Kili never end up getting together"
Well, yeah...Kili literally died.
8:28 so many say this but its wrong. The correct lesson is: Everyone needs to be a friend like Sam.
my biggest takeaway from the HOBBIT serious was the CGI in the last movie. It really was an eyesore.
This video intregues me as it's talked about like these never came from books. Especially with how the hobbit's climax being Smaug dying and not the war like the movies fixes a huge flaw you had.
It's funny and cute in a way
Return of the king….best film oat
For frodo....
Sauron isn't the main villain of the trilogy, the Ring is.
Loved the video and I'm glad you finally watched these!
bro Sauron made the Ring. So yes, Sauron is the main villain.
Sauron is the literal Lord of the Rings….
well... Sauron's will, his escence, his evil prescence is tied to the One Ring, so technically Sauron is still the Main Villain and he is always there, lurking like an unseen but omnipresent force of nature. That is one of the things that makes Sauron one of, if not THE BEST villain ever.
Sauron and the ring are bound. That's what he keeps him alive...
Loved hearing a fresh perspective and take on the greatest franchise in film. Loved your thoughts
Loved watching them!
Idk, but I like the hobbit because it gives me ''mom is telling me fairy tail right before bedtime'' vibes. It really feels nostalgic. And as a story I liked the hobbit more than lotr.
i watched and ranked every dylicioustakes movie
YOU WHAT??!!
We will never get cinema like the original lord of the rings trilogy again. Perfect cinema.
His pronunciation of eowyn, eomer and denethor destroyed me!
