Quelle prestation ! L'aria ténor/flute "Wo wird in diesem Jammertale" est une pure gemme 😇... Une pure merveille de l'art occidental... Et je suis loin d'en être à ma première cantate... WOA ! Et le récitatif de la basse !!! Hallucinant, cette voix habitée ! Et tout le long, l'efficacité, la clarté, la précision du continuo. Le tout est d'un très haut niveau. C'est du très lourd ! ❤️❤️❤️
Que extraordinarios solistas varones tomaron la responsabilidad de expresar el texto: entre el peso del mal y la confianza de la salvación. Estos cambios entre la duda y la confianza: que manera de ser expresado. Coro y orquesta y desde luego el director: sublimes. Gracias mil.

Qui peut rester insensible, quelle que soit la musique qu'il ou qu'elle écoute ordinairement ? Georg Poplutz comme Marc Hantai forment un duo d'exception, soutenus par un continuo pas moins remarquable. Une de mes plus grandes "Bach" émotions depuis 50 ans... 🙏🙏🙏

Wunderbar, wirklich gut zu hören. Außer: Meinen wirklich alle, dass von Männern gesungene Altstimmrnen 'schöner', 'angemessener' sind als von Frauen gesungen? Ich finde es einfach nicht schön, Frauen können das in der Lage einfach deutlich schöner. Historie hin oder her.
Ein guter Altus - er muß herb und klar und ohne Vibrato singen - der ist einer weiblichen Stimme gleichwertig. Das vergessene "Kopfstimmen-Singen" ist doch eine der erfreulichsten Entdeckungen der letzten Jahrzehnte

Moi qui reste un fan du jeu de Pierre Hantai que j'ai écouté avec beaucoup de plaisir sur Netherlands Bach Society il y quelques mois... Merci. Snif !

The minor mode - and yet he uses the quaver-two-semi 'jauchzet' figure.
You've hit upon one of the greatest secrets of his art. Joy in grief, simplicity in complexity.
The continuo sounded as though it were in slow triple meter for all the activity, but the chorale as solidly in duple metre.
Sounds like a nod to Christoph Graupner to me. Graupner composed many chorales with such bass lines.
