Who better to demonstrate the incredible tones of a 1960 strat? The rosewood board definitely influences the sonic capabilities of this vintage Fender guitar. What joy watching and hearing Michael play and Jen bring it all to us, thanks both of you, you are amazing.
Well done Michael….I could listen to an entire album of these sounds. The glassy-chewy/reverb texture of this beautiful ‘60 strat through that ‘67 Fender amp is delicious sounding! Wish I could afford it!✌️🙏🤘🎶
Wow! What an amazing museum quality 1960 Stratocaster ,and a moving rendition of “Stratosphere” if indeed that’s what it is. Was the second piece original to you Michael. I certainly loved it and immediately sat down with my JH tribute Strat and started to learn the changes. I love when you play quiet songs because your calming spirit comes across as you perform these melodic interpretations. Thanks to you and all the family there at Norms for bringing us a little closer to our dreams. And speaking of dreams. Go Eagles 🦅!!! All my best to Norm and the gang! Dave in Philly.
Man I just love when the dynamic duo is together , these 2 guys ( Brandon and Mike ) doing the show , tell and play is just off the charts ! Just amazing . Thank you guys !
I saw Hendrix play that tune at the Auditorium in Memphis. The first two numbers that Michael played were very moving for me, I can’t figure that out I will take it because they sounded soothing.
Listening to Lemmo, inspires me to keep playing. I’m 66 and been playing since I was 11. Always love making music. I can tell Lemmo has that love for making music too. That guitar is so sweet sounding.
Been watching this channel for at least 3 years… ML that may be ‘the’ cleanest performance on a vintage Strat I’ve ever seen you do! Absolutely fantastic! 🎉😊
This has to be one of my most favorite strats you have featured. Reminds me of Vic Flick’s guitars. His studio riffs were staples in studio work in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. You can’t beat the great Strat sounds! Lemmo, your one of my favorite players ever. I love how you demonstrate every sound and feature of Norms guitars. Thanks Jen! The best videographer around! Big respects and thanks to all at Norms Rare Guitars…
Jen, you make Mr. lemmo complete! That guitar sounds so good🎸😎 that’s the year I was born, I own a lot of guitars but nothing that old and beautiful 🎸 I NEED INDEED 🎸🤔Mr. lemmo you have a gift my friend 😎
I meet the band when Jimmie was in jail in Gotenburg. He had refurnished a hotelroom. Was on all his concerts hehe in Gotenburg. You nail his tone Mike. What a guitar.
It is extraordinary that a young fellow walks into a storage room, picks a random box, talks for a while. He then sits down on a couch and turns it in into a TH-cam sensation. The magic is captured by some seamlessly skilled camera lady for the world to treasure. You did not have to be there, it is here for ever.
Wow ! Like someone i knew would say, "I dunno, man"". Been digging these for years. This may be the best yet. Saw a little 'head shake' during the mid pup time. Mikey likes it :) Who wouldn't. Guitar's off the charts !!
Wow Lemmo you have the best job in the world....I just found this Playlist on Norm's channel and there are almost 1700 videos to watch, I'm not a guitar player but I'm fascinated with the instrument and the sounds that you create.....keep em coming cause I don't want to run out of content!!!! Thanks my friend
I don’t know the first number he played, but that clean tone blew me away. At first I was thinking ‘a little too heavy on the reverb’, then Lemmo subtlety convinced me otherwise. Fantastic. Thank you.
@@RadicalR0nnie he plays a part from purple haze right at the very start haha, I'm guessing everyone's referring to what he's playing at the 4:00 mark aha
It’s FREAKIN STRATURDAY. Always reliable with the sick licks Lemmo. Had to cancel my vacation to PR due to the hurricane but still enjoying my weekend. Especially now after watching this!!!
Wow super ganda grabe, sana merun magregalo Sakin kahit Luma na Basta fender stratocaster, hanggang pangarap kanalang dahil LA ako pambili Nyan, napakamahal sobra
Wow that sounds fantastic on the neck/middle/bridge PU's from the heavenly era of Fender! Great song choices and very well played as usual...Thanks Jen for giving the amp some love too!
Great guitar and great demo Michael, Brandon and Jen!! I really appreciate these videos because it is a great way to see different guitars and hear them too so I thank you very much! Stay safe and I am also happy to see Norm back doing his thing on a regular basis. P.S. the second song you played on the middle pickup really hit me in the feels, really beautiful song
I watched a demo on Emerald city guitars this morning w a ‘59 Hardtail sunburst rosewood neck! Aaron Herbert absolutely nailed it! I actually “thought” that it was the best Strat I ever heard! This one has got it! Beautiful work Michael 👍🇦🇺
Ah yes! I was just listening to "Stratosphere" earlier today. It's definitely one of the staple songs in my favorites list on Spotify. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent Mike!
Amazing playing as per usual but my goodness look at that board!. If I didn't know better I would think it was ebony, Brazilian rosewood is very special indeed.
First off wow just wow mr Lemmo making that Beautiful guitar sing, don’t think it’s going to be in the store for long, man I need a rosewood strat or tele 😎
I was wondering why I had never heard some of this amazing guitar music before. Well, after reading the other comments, that amazing 2nd tune is composed by nobody other than Michael Lemmo himself. Well done. Great guitars sound even greater in the hands of the right player!
beautifull playing.. I love this guitar doe sth e60 strat has thineer neck? I'm planning to buy an Olympic white strat and wonder which year or reisue or model to get so it is the most comfortble and thin neck etc
That is a fine sounding and looking strat. Prayers to the previous owner, I bet he still is feeling the pain of letting this Strat go. Thanks.
Wow! That guitar had tone and vibes for a thousand years. Great playing Lemmo👏🔥
Wow what a beautiful piece of art the sound is like music in the wind , Michael you did this beauty justice with what you played

sometimes he just "noodles" and people wonder,"what song is that?' that may be the case here, you're right very soothing.
The 2nd song was his original "Stratosphere"

Is that Michael or the Strat? That sounds soooooooo beautiful!!!! It’s both! TY Michael that was well needed today.

God Bless N.R.G. for sharing all of these demos. On these 3-way switches, I would like to hear the in between’s just for fun.

I really need to know what song he plays from minute 4!!! So beautiful!
Stratosphere. It's an original he wrote
I love that guitar
How can I find the original song? I’ve googled Hendrix and Stratosphere and I can’t seem to find it.
Thanks for another great vid, I need a Strat !
Wow great job really nice place to go to Lemo
love this one!!
What a fantastic video michael and jen also Brandon have a great weekend
Really enjoyed that Lemmo!
My God that was beautiful….
I really enjoy the historical information about the guitars you show. What type of clay did they use on those markers?
It’s not actually clay, just called clay by collectors and players cause it has the same color. It’s actually vulcanized fiberboard oddly enough
Seems like Norm allows to play Hendrix! Yaaaaay ❤️
Killer. Killer. 🤙🤙
Epic. Sound like I like it
I love stratocaster 60's
Lemmo at his best! Amazing guitar!
Okay now we're talk Olympic White with rosewood FB 60's Strat.
Wow, this one really sounds big.
