- The AC went out on the trusty Honda Fit. In this video we go through the process of how to not only replace the Condenser but also how to trouble shoot an inoperable AC system to isolate what component is causing issues.
As always thank you all for your continued support. We are excited to continue to share our love of all things automotive.

Man, thank you so much for making this video. I've been looking for this exact tutorial for the longest time. I've had the new condenser just sitting in my room for a few months because I didn't know how to install it. Thank you 🙏
So glad you found this helpful. The job is quite easy. Best of luck with the replacement.

THE CLIPS ON TOP OF GRILL THAT YOU STATED YOU WERE UNSURE OF HOW TO PROPERLY REMOVE.. ALL YOU DO IS PRESS THE CENTER DOWN AND THE CLIP WILL RELEASE, THEN ONCE OUT YOU RESET IT BY POPPING THE CENTER BACK UP. HOPE THAT HELPS. AND SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS, JUST NOTICED THAT
Thanks for the tip. Very helpful!

Aaaayyyeeee!
Thanks sir

mine 2011 fit only getting cold in cool environment, and only cold about 15min in hot area. The shop already check the pressure is not a problem. So, it means no leak. I am just open the bumper to wash the condensers. Hope this fix the issue.
Is your compressor turning on? I would verify that.
Who's that guy looking like a snack?

What mesh or what did you do to stop the rocks and such ?

Hi! My 2007 Honda Fit (must be 1st Gen then?) has no cold AC 90% of the time. But every so often, after driving for a while, cold air WILL blow for a few minutes. Then back to warm air.
Does that info point me towards a problem? Thanks in advance for any insight. I really hope I can fix it without spending a ton of money.
This article may point you in the right direction. Hope it helps.

same issue for me. My shop confirm pressure is good and refrigerant is up there. So i will wash my condenser today with some foam cleaner from homedepot. This would solve the problem i think
No need to add charge oil to the new condenser?
We did add about 1oz of oil when we recharged the system. We added this with the refrigerant.
Condenser on mine is curved and touches the radiator behid but no leak and cooling is ok. How to straighten it?
They are pretty fragile. If it’s curved the car may have been in an accident. Your best bet may be to replace if it’s causing issues
