To Pour or Not Too Poor | Ashville Weekly ep192

- This week… there is a broken down lorry, stuck on a street, we have broken down loading shovels and @DanielAshvilleOfficial will not accept defeat, but admits, it may be time to upgrade the fleet, and it feels like the same track, stuck on repeat, as we pour an astronomical amount or ready mix concrete

Morning buddy.
Save yourself a big headache and put an AC split unit on the server hut.
They will cook otherwise.
Fans alone are not enough if container is sealed youll just get heat buildup.
This is a good idea. The server room at my work has AC on 24-7 as a just in case and that’s in a normal office building not a storage container that get notoriously hot inside.
Second this. we had a server room go down because the AC unit failed on a Friday evening and no one noticed till Monday and even then the room was at an average of 30 odd degrees
I'm currently installing splits in a big project across muliple server rooms. 3 units per room on timers and standby incase any go down.
As an IT proffesional. I've never been a server room thats not actively cooled. Servers are nothing but complicated expensive resistant heaters. if not properly kept cool they will burn out (or become stupid slow)
As a fellow IT professional I can confirm this is true. Our AC failed once a few years ago and the metalwork of the racks was HOT to the touch! 😢
Any business owner that refers to money owed (from HMRC) as 'our' money and not 'my' money to me is a great manager of people, always inspirational, we have a construction company on the costa del sol and love to watch these om a Sunday, gives great motivation for the week ahead
My wife's left me but it's ok, it's 8am, it's Sunday and I have Ashville
Now you can go fishing. Will be going myself at 11. Whatever stress, you can't be defeated.
Your better off without her mate, get yourself down tge yard and see Dan
Keep the chin up, it'll be alright. Times a great healer ❤
I’m going through a separation too pal it’s bloody hard😢
@@jayd1974 keep head up mate, I know first hand it’s fkn horrendously hard but things DO & WILL get better
It's Sunday Morning, I'm in the loo.
Every week 😂
😷
😂
So a good clear out!
You need to get out more.
This new tyre fitter seems very very conscientious, he appears to take great pride in his work and in my opinion is a good addition to the ashfield team.
Yeah that was my thought too. Also, they've clearly realised that branding and quality is important to Daniel, and made it important to them too.
what happened to the old tyre guy?
@@GlobalPassportGuy Benji left Ashville a month or two ago. he does comment some times.
A simple sensor which prevents a 16 ton machine to stop working is simply outrageous. Repairs are becoming increasingly complex day by day.
Disagree that it's outrageous, sensors stop machines from damaging themselves.
I know people bang on about the old machines and old cars etc.
But 1. emissions requirements are a fact of life from the Government & make sensors a requirement.
2 machines and cars are actually more reliable today for the most part.
A sensor is a lot cheaper then something mechanical.
I agree that machines can be more complicated but that's a trade off.
If you spend anytime in a modern machine and then go back to a machine from the 1980's or 90's the benifits become pretty clear pretty quick.
a broken crankshaft sensor will stop any engine produced in the last 20 years.
Awesome vid as always! Fair play to the tyre fitter - sorry tyre technician, I'm old school! Someone who wants and does that to his van (Obv with permission) is a decent employee, he clearly wants his workspace sorted, clean, tidy, easier to use, however you want to explain it - Daniel, make sure you keep him, he's going to do great things!
As for Welderfabber - another one that clearly knows his stuff and will do his best for Daniel and tell him how it is or what's needed to sort the problem unlike the cowboys out just after money - I've always said, if you do me a good service, you've got my loyalty and that's the way businesses or their custom will grow, then word gets out!
Watched all 192 episodes and this one just has a crazy energy about it. What a buzz watching this journey ! If this does not make you motivated then nothing will, absolute class! 👏🏻
New tyre man seem very switched on too , looking forward to seeing more of him 👍🏻
O’Donovan weekly is becoming serious business 😂
😂
It is Sunday morning and I’m in bed again and watching Ashville Weekly.
Every TH-cam channel I subscribe too has good videos . but they also have some bad ones .
I can honestly say that "ASHVILLE HAS NOT MADE A BAD ONE YET"
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching every single one .
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK , YOU ARE THE ORIGINAL "A" TEAM .
🙌 That means alot. Thanks for watching ❤
These videos show me that I am not working hard enough. Now im motivated
👊
👊
Morning Ashville family ❤
Good morning Ashville weekly crew 🎉. It's Sunday looking forward to a great vlog from Daniel and the team.
That maintenance on that NAS needs to be done monthly!
Bruh I started watching your videos for the past 2 months. And all this time, I didn’t realise you’re like 10-15 minutes from me. Do you do site visits to see how your ambitious work is coming along? You’re a top bloke and your work ethics are absolutely flawless geezer, keep it up!
Amazing that with all that’s going on setting up the new yard that you guys still manage to get quality content out every week 👍🥳
If I didn’t have Ashville to watch every Sunday I would be so mad
The parts following the lads round doing their duties is a sick addition 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
great video Mr Ashville your weekly videos have become a sunday morning must watch for us keep up the great content
Are we just gonna act like the other tyre fitter didn’t exist ? 😂 Where did he go?
I moved on buddy
@@benjietibby4843 good luck buddy on your future endeavors.🤝🏽

@@benjietibby4843 Good luck pal, you clearly had a good work ethic so anywhere you go is lucky to have you!
I can just imagine Daniel personally sweeping the concrete around the new track with a long handled broom. I must admit, it does look beautiful, rather like Nottingham when their trams were first put in.
I'm a train lover like Daniel is. I always wanted my 125 from having my own 2 carriages and an engine each end but I'd need the land for it. Some people in the Lincs Fenlands have gardens long enough for the required track.
One of your best videos... just persevering no matter what.
I was surprised to see an Ashville tipper past my home this morning in Twickenham. Very cool.
Wheres the old tyre fitter gone? Guys about 15 years younger and has hair😅😂
He was traded in with the old compressor 😂..
New compressor, New employee..
I was wondering the same thing
@@Cent51 😄
Minus the beer belly + the hwir
@@owenhorwood6356 its strange that daniel hasnt mentioned it👍
I bought 2 umberellas from ashville & I can say that they are of a really good quality. Thanks Daniel & the team
All look well and you look happy. That's more than good. I can't wait to see the new yard.
Loved the poetry intro., and when you referred to owed by HMRC as our money. Good seeing Vesha again, and the new yard is progressing nicely-Forward we march. Great episode. Take Care Daniel, All😊❤
Morning all, I must say he needs to be on a stage with that intro! So what’s everyone’s plan for this coming week!
Looking forward to seeing your new yard as drone footage for intro and website etc
Good evening from New Zealand boys and girls

Sunday Morning Ashville Crew
Hi there everyone, another great snap shot into the lives of those at Ashville, good to see Terry on site, hopefully he's been out spending time on the bank with the fish! New yard is coming along,I'll it be ready before episode 200....
It's important to have a good service and back up whatever machines you get.
Daniel, you need a TV show of your own with your company! Clean comedy and good content!
He's got a show on National Geo right now!
Daniel so glad to see the yard coming together for you deserve it big time
Love the poetry Dan
Back in the day, they would infill between the tracks with granite setts or whatever, and use either a tramline or a check rail. I guess this won't be an issue, but isn't the step into the four-foot a trip hazard, if nothing else?
Those hydrostatics motors look like the Gardner-Denver radial air motors I used to sell about mumble years ago, takes me back!
Back in the 17th Century I worked on a server at a quarry in Speke. There were dump trucks driving through the "server room". Your QNAP is not the worst I've seen!
How I am using railway sleepers sourced from SNCF(France) to ballast temporary structures for the Paris 2024 games, stand alone video?
Come on Daniel...
Sunday's will never be the same without an Ashville weekly video!!
Welcome to Ashville Michael
Thank you
Shout out to Ashville for another great episode, what a milestone to see the concrete set in the new yard 👏🏾🎉🥳🍰
Has anyone else noticed that there are always problems with the Volvos but rarely any problems with the Scanias?
Love the poetry
Wow guys the new yard getting there 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👌
I was a commercial fleet technician for 13 years for Bridgestone commercial, it's definitely a truly unique and wonderful occupation, 😊😊😊.
That was a beautiful poem 😍
Take care
Good morning Daniel And Team, Have a blessed weekend!
Quality content week after week. Keep up the good work!
Mr O'Donovan is a legend he's constantly on the wind up.. Great to her the Tax thing is finally sorting itself out as well what a bloody nightmare that would be.
Another Ripper video mate cheers ❤️🙏👍😃🦘🇦🇺🇬🇧🧌
Love it. That rail track looks goooooood. Terry had it dead right.🤣🤣🤣❤️
Awesome intro, loved that ❤❤❤
Onward and upward Daniel. A business is only as good as it's employees, so it needs an even better boss to train them the right way to do things!
Morning Dan’speare & Everyone ☀️
Morning Sunday morning crew hope coffee is ready
Best way to wake up on a sunday morning!!

I watch every episode
How have i missed the original tyre fitter gone😮😮😮😮
Have been looking forward to this video all week 😊
Am "in the yard "❤❤❤
Love the progress Daniel 👍
WOW !! One of your better introductions !!
😂👊
make sure that the future server room is water tight as much as possible, because you based in England. Also if you putting more servers use some temperature control
Morning,
It's Sunday morning a d I'm in Chelmsford rather than Sunday evening in Adelaide, South Australia
In UK for a week and have see a couple of Ashfield trucks on the flesh
that little sensor Mr daniel have caused alot of problem for us that drives Liebherr mobilecranes too! once a weekend when the Norwegian rail road stood still because we where laying a big pipe under the tracks. crane didnt want to fire up.. had to be done within 24 hours or we would get MASSIVE fines. its insane how this problem have been for years, its the same sensor. why not try make it better so it dont fail ? its a common problem, so have theese on hand! rather easy to fix ur self too! atleast on mobile cranes IF the boom is up in the air, if its not then im not changing it my self XD
love seeing your kit driving down mancetter road to Crown!
I'm not even in the same continent but I'm excited to see the progress on the new yard 🙌
I just bought 2 John Deere loaders. A 904P and an 844P, you need to get the 904P since it's basically an 844P, but just more bucket capacity, horsepower, and bigger tires. Your guys will love it. Also, get a service agreement for 9K hours. This way you don't have to do nothing and they can see when things go wrong. We gave 10K goyrs warranty also on both machines with smart weight system.
I know all you use is flat cabs. Here in Barron Alaska we use long hoods. Temp in winter goes as low as -35 f below 0. Need some warm engine in front of me My sons are owners now. The fleet up to 45 rigs. I still run part time my 1983 359 peterbilt long hood with dump trailer.
Society has no idea how important men like Welder Fab are
Love the positivity Daniel, things are progressing well
That track is going to look mint 👌
Only watching your videos for 6 to 8 weeks now and already I'm saying things like, Saturday morning I'm in the office, or Tuesday morning I'm in the yard. My co workers looking at me strangely
Concreted track looks first class!
All you need is a spare loco and some container wagons to some shunting between the two yards to move your offices
another good one Dan 👍
Love the growth keep it going ❤
Why don't you look at a Victron Energy based peak shaving battery storage unit?
So basically you can have a smaller incoming supply, with battery storage connected to a set of inverters paralleled together to give your peak power requirements
It can even be easily integrated into the generator or solar to recharge the batteries or re-inforce the power required in addition to the grid
Exactly the same principle as you're water towers, but with electricity
Also for that server room I would Highly! recommend air con for it
2x 3.2kw or equivalent so you have redundancy if poss, if not a 5kw unit and pray it doesn't fail on a summers day.
Railway track looking nice aethticly pleasing
Hope you signed and dated the first concrete slab in the new yard!! ❤
Noel is absolutely correct!! Back then was a better simpler time
Great video well done
Attention to detail in the referb project is just first class .
Great content as always Ashville! Loving the new yard
Might not have seen properly but when cleaning - blowing out electronics like you were with the q nap just be careful not to overclock the fans as it can cause issues…. The fan basically turned into a generator/dynamo
*Server Rack*
unless you are bolting this to the floor/wall, make sure you fit a pull-out anti tilt device at the base of the unit.
If you have more than one server pulled out at any given time, someone will arrive in the morning to find a server technicial burried under a pile of servers!
I love a bit of a concrete pour.
you need to sort the tyre fitters van with some racking and tool box mannnnn
Tbf with regards to the tyre van if you were SERIOUS the van would have been properly kitted out with racking and drawers , work bench etc.
It has drawers for tools. Can't go filling it up, then there's no room for tires. And these aren't small tires. Work bench? The van is for tires, not auto parts.
Thank you 😊
16:00 you should definitely have your own tabletop mic at home to record a quick voiceover and upload it to your shared cloud so the have it same day.
Glad you are thinking of getting rid of the Liebherr shite. More trouble than they are worth!
More SINGHS representing!!!
Its Sunday morning im hanging out me arse watching ashville
Ew!
"The decisions" it still one of my favourite Daniel funny moments
Although we're seeing these two weeks behind real time it seems like there's a ton of progress still to go before moving into the new yard. I hope your NAS unit survived that cleaning.
It is amazing that he can wear white shoe to the yard and yet it remains amazingly white.
21:35 had me howling 😂
