Hi, today I cleared my AWS SysOps Associate exam. Thank you so much for the course, I literally just went through your course and bought practise exams and that was it. Thanks, please keep pushing out more free courses like this to help others.
Currently, studying for the SysOps Administrator! So thank you Andrew and freecodecamp! As others noted, around 00:10:09 mark. Andrew is discussing the AWS Solutions Architect Associate Exam, but showing the correct slides for the SysOps SOC-C01 exam. Best wishes!

@@su-1337 I took some practice tests, some other material too I referred. It took me around 1 month to prepare and give the exam. Also it depends upon once schedule how much time you can devote.
This is an awesome tutorial I must admit! I used to think the SysOps exam was really difficult, turns out I already know most of what I need to know and your explanations about the extras I need are just too good! Thanks man!
I love his videos but I often find issues with the audio and video syncing. Have a look at around 12:00. What he is saying doesn't match the bullets on the screen. Love his style though, helped me pass the Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect tests.
Hi, @ 7:25:25 there's a more direct way to just move an EBS volume. Create a snapshot and just copy the snapshot to new AZ or Region, and turn that into a new Volume.
@@Ahmadyouniss Yes I did earn SysOps Admin certification, apart from this video course I used Stephane Maarek's course, and Jon Bonso's practice tests, on Udemy.
@TheLostsurfer24 Study the use of Lambda on sysops. I remember at least six different questions on my exam that asked about a Lambda scenario, or that the Lambda was the answer
@@raghupattar3978 I’m already working manager level on the area, not looking for new promotions. But I definitely would hire a candidate if he/she is certified.
Hey Andrew Brown !! You're videos are great i passed CCP and SAA by watching your videos. This video your slides are going faster at the beginning when you are explaining about Domains. For instance your slide displays "multiple choice, multiple response" at 14:31mins your still talking about the Domains (Direct Connect) and goes you another topic. You may wanna look into this. Thanks for your videos
3:48:22 /23 - 512 ALSO ANDREW "i remember all of these ! " 😂😂 Thank you so much for working so hard man! I've cleared CCP thanks to your video. Sysops is next
Thanks for this Free Course, because of this I interested buy the course to support the Team, their Practice Exam also help me build confidence in the Exam, I already pass the Exam, Mainly I use this for Study and do some Hands-on myself to catch-up with the AWS Update ( Mainly only UI Update and some new services ) If you want to pass the exam with ease I recommend to do more hands-on because it will be helpful when answering the questions.
If youve already passed the developer or solutions architect this video isnt going to help you much in the sysops exam. You'd be better off spending the time just skim reading the whitepapers or faqs because the exam is more like the Cloud Practioner where there are clear right and wrong answers on every question. If you already have a strong knowledge of AWS (at associate level) you just need to learn common errors and how to resolve them. Then the exam is straight forward
I realise this is somewhat outdated in early 2024 but there appears to be a massive desync between video and audio where what is being spoken about is several slides behind what is being displayed which makes it very difficult to follow.
Andrew Brown rocks! This course is amazing. I'm going to take the exam in 8-10 days. I already have several years of experience with AWS so I might not have to refer to any other course at all. Cheers!
If you just watch the video and hope to pass the exam. Forget it. The possibility is near 0. Read the white paper and the documents online. That is the way.
this guy is so funny :D hahaha thanks for making me entertain and educate at the same time on the VPC follow along. I really have confusion on differences of NAT gateway, NACL, SG, IGW,VGW
Hey Andrew Brown!! Great vid. After getting our cert how do we get our foot in the door with this position if the only experience we have is self taught? All jobs are looking at 3-5 yrs of AWS experience. How do we get it if jobs don't allow you to have it? Seems like all our hard work into getting a cert is not enough now and days.
Thank you so much guys, you are really helping people around the globe to have the ability to learn this amazing stuff. Great speakers, great content, amazing, you have my full 10 of 10. Thank you so much again.
at 20.40, i think cloud watch can not monitor memory usage of instance by default. we need to install some external agents to get those details, right?
We offer complete study packages on exampro.co which additionally include practice exams, quizlets, flashcards, and a readiness meter for your study progress.
Hello, do you recommend I watch any videos prior to this or will this be enough for sysops. I've just watch your cloud practitioner. Do you recommend others?
First of all i would like to thank you for all the wonderful contents! you guys rock keep up the good work. I cleared AWS CCP and azure fundamentals by watching your videos. Can anyone please tell me is it ok to go ahead with this course since i dont have much knowledge on DevOps or its prerequisites before
Is this course good for beginners that have basic cloud knowledge? I currently have a sec+ and CCNA. Will my knowledge from these certification help with this course?
I know it may not be the recommended way of doing this, but i have been using cloud infrastructure for about half a year and I'm pretty comfortable with it. Can I take this exam without taking CCP?

Any suggestions where to focus based of the questions your saw?
@TheLostsurfer24 Study the use of Lambda on sysops. I remember at least six different questions on my exam that asked about a Lambda scenario, or that the Lambda was the answer
Sir did it help u get a job or get promotion??
@@raghupattar3978 I’m already working manager level on the area, not looking for new promotions. But I definitely would hire a candidate if he/she is certified.
Congrats! did you also go over other materials/ links for this cert ?
Excellent material for free even it is a little outdated. At 3:48 /23 = 512 instead of 128. /25 i= 128. Thanks!
I am sure those dislikes are from paid udemy and other tutorial sites instructors. These videos are treasures of knowledge..
You are a legend! Wow! Very detailed and informative video... and for free?! Can’t beat that!
Thanks!
Whaaoohhh this is just too awesom, who can compare with FCC, you always deliver with amazing content
All m gonna say is Thank You
3:48:22
/23 - 512
ALSO ANDREW
"i remember all of these ! "
😂😂
Thank you so much for working so hard man!
They are making a population which are coding literate. I think the future generation will live in a skynet world.
Hi Andrew.Great video. Do you have a course for new exam?
I realise this is somewhat outdated in early 2024 but there appears to be a massive desync between video and audio where what is being spoken about is several slides behind what is being displayed which makes it very difficult to follow.
I'm not clear why the the audio of the Exam Guide Breakdown for the SAA was introduced in this video at 9:43?
5:02 NACL stateless - opposite what is written in the brackets
Andrew Brown rocks! This course is amazing. I'm going to take the exam in 8-10 days. I already have several years of experience with AWS so I might not have to refer to any other course at all. Cheers!
@ 2:30, Is SSL deprecated or TLS, as per my knowledge SSL, but in ur video is showing TLS deprecated......eeeehhhhhhgggggg
Hopefully they will share courses for the other two AWS associate certifications also, and dwell into professional certificates as well!
Literally, these guys rock
If you just watch the video and hope to pass the exam. Forget it. The possibility is near 0.
Read the white paper and the documents online. That is the way.
Amazing Andrew Brown!
Exam guide Breakdown is off sync text displayed in the screen and the audio is different, why was that can you check?
this guy is so funny :D hahaha thanks for making me entertain and educate at the same time on the VPC follow along. I really have confusion on differences of NAT gateway, NACL, SG, IGW,VGW
Could you make the subtitles available? Thank you
Hey Andrew Brown!! Great vid. After getting our cert how do we get our foot in the door with this position if the only experience we have is self taught? All jobs are looking at 3-5 yrs of AWS experience. How do we get it if jobs don't allow you to have it? Seems like all our hard work into getting a cert is not enough now and days.
omg I just planned to learn AWS, thanks you guys so much!
How ahead are you?
so there you go.
Hello
It's better because to list course content and time in the description will help us.
Thank you!
Thank you so much guys, you are really helping people around the globe to have the ability to learn this amazing stuff. Great speakers, great content, amazing, you have my full 10 of 10. Thank you so much again.

Thank you for this!
This is awesome 🙌
Thanks for the amazing content!
Thanks for sharing!
Why does the video get way ahead of the dialogue around the fifteen minute mark?
Hey I think the video and audio got mixed up on this. The video shows that this is for SysOps Admin SOA-C01, but the audio is for SOA-C02. :)
Please make solution architect solution course videos.
Amazing video thank you very much
is the voice not aligned with the slides? or is it just me?
Yes, For ExamBreak down is not in sync.
You are really a hero man
Any chance of providing the transcript. It helps to go back if I missed something. Thanks!
Is this still relevant in 2022? (not outdated) Also, is there a link to download these slides?
just a headsup to newbies like me that this is C01 so its outdated by now
at 20.40, i think cloud watch can not monitor memory usage of instance by default. we need to install some external agents to get those details, right?
Yes, the CloudWatch Agent. He notes this numerous times as the video progresses.
Thanks for the Video..!!!
Is the Audio and Video not in Sync ?
Same question. My video is way ahead of the speaker.

On which state of my career is this useful to me?
