Casting Spinners For Lake Trout
Fishing for Lake Trout usually means pulling spoons or cut baits behind down riggers maybe even vertical jigging baits.
But here we are Casting Spinner Baits in the shallows catching Lake Trout. We fished 5-25ft of water on sand flats close to a steep drop off.
First we drove the drop off to find fish moving in the deeper water then set up casting the shallow edges where they were moving up on to. At some points even sight Fishing them off the bow.
It was a different take to Lake Trout Fishing, something we did ten yrs ago and decided to come back to the same lake and try it again…. We’ll that bite has stayed true & here is the footage. Enjoy. 🎣
