The stores are deliberately designed so that once you enter, you must pass through every section before you can leave again... unless you know about the secret doors and hallways that the employees use to efficiently move about and which they don't mind customers using even though it's not advertised. My wife loves Ikea and discovered these covert passageways some time ago and is the only person I know who can go into an Ikea, get what she needs, and leave in less than 20-minutes.

I just hate that they know who he is. I preferred it when he was a mystery, but now we have the BBC ruining it with bad writing and retconning the whole show.
@@MightyElemental But you've got to think about it. At the start he hadnt been doing it for that long, but after over 1000 years of saving people he wouldve gained a reputation

Remember, the time war destroyed many lives, it didn't involve just the Timelords and Daleks, it spread across time, through many universes, as such, when the Doctor ended the war with, well, an explosion as everyone seems to think, everyone learned of who he was, and how he killed Billions in an instant.

It’s worse when the doctor goes to modern day England, central London and says “I’m the doctor and I travel in a blue phone box” and everyone the person is like “nah not a clue, I’d definitely remember you, nah”

People always talk about how great David Tennant was as the Doctor, and yeah, he was great, but Peter Capaldi was amazing even with terrible writing, which just shows how absolutely fantastic the man is as an actor. He can say more in a glance than many actors can in a monologue.
Except the writing was incredible.

I think the worst part of this whole show was that their was no real connection to Doctor Who except with Coal Hill and the Doctor in this one episode. Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood had many references to Doctor Who (Biggest being the main roles were former companions). Even Sarah Jane Adventures had enemies that were Doctor Who enemies. If Class had brought in Cybermen, Daleks, or something to tie in the universe it probably would have been alot better.

What about Time Reapers ?
I assume the first series was gonna just introduce new ideas (Much like Doctor Who Series 11), and then in Series 2, they would have given us a Weeping Angels story arc, but the show was unfortunately cancelled before that could happen. But in the Class audiobooks, we actually get a Dalek Story
I really love how exasperated the shadow guy sounded when he clarified.
I never knew class existed untill Jodies first season. From what I've heard it's a really good show, a shame they cancelled it after one season :/

Well, Corakinus and the other Shadow Kin aren't CGI. They were real costumes - the only computer graphics in these shots are the added layers of embers and smoke.
Not surprising - Torchwoods effects were way better than Ten and Eleven's stuff - it seems when the BBC does kids show they make the CG look less 'real' to try not to scare the youngsters

I would have turned the lights out. THAT'S what gets rid of shadows.
That is not really true. Your shadow is still there, but blends in with the darkness. Extreme light is the only way to get rid of a shadow.

@@cainabel6356 Have you ever heard the expression the brightest flame casts the darkest shadow? Think about it? The only logical thing is to turn the light off because there is no way to rid of shadow, Even in sphere made of light, there will always be atleast small area casting tiny shadow. With light shadows exist, no light no shadows, because shadow blurs into nothing, literally.
The only appearance where Capaldi wore his navy wool coat from series 8/9 combined with the grey TM Lewin waistcoat that he otherwise always wore with the burgundy velvet coat.
Just a bit of nerd trivia for you all.

Class could have done so much better if it just got better marketing and advertisement. As a Doctor Who, fan I’d have loved to watch it, but I just never knew about it. It’s weird that The Doctor makes an appearance in the show, but these characters don’t first appear in Doctor Who (like Captain Jack and Sarah Jane). It’s even weirder that the show didn’t join HBO MAX like Torchwood, Doctor Who, and The Sarah Jane Adventures (so I still can’t watch it). I still really wish there were more spin offs in Moffat’s era. He created great characters, that I’d love to have spent more time with. I would have watched a spin off set in Victorian England about Strax, Vastra, and Jenny so hard (it would also be very different from past spin offs). He also could have returned to RTD era character’s and use a spin off to give them more character before possibly reintroducing them (“Jenny” from the Doctor’s Daughter traveling space, and/or possibly “Lady Christina de Souza” from planet of the dead). I was just really hoping Moffat would have made spinoffs more of a precedent in New Who, so we’d have them to expand the universe even more with every new showrunner. But alas. Hopefully, the only good thing to come from Chibnall is that with Doctor Who fans struggling to justify watching the show still, BBC will greenlit more spinoffs of popular characters.

For 4 minutes I was thinking I was really stupid for forgetting this scene from Doctor Who. Only at the end I realized it was some other TV series. For me living outside the UK, I had no clue this series existed. Now seeing only 8 episodes before being cancelled. Well, I would not waste time with this show, like I did with the past 2 seasons (series 11 & 12) of Doctor Who.

I like this! How many times has The Doctor stumbled into what would look like the climax of the story to anyone who's been watching it from it's start and not just when The Doctor shows up? I think this is the first time we've followed a Doctor Who story from the perspective of the locals until the Doctor shows up.

It's a pity this show didn't work out. It had potential - although the Doctor leaving schoolkids to fight aliens was reckless even by his standards.
Is leaving the gang with Quill to fight aliens any more reckless than letting Sarah Jane, Luke and the neighbour's kids fight aliens though? 10 & 11 were happy to let them continue... so I'd argue it's no different to that.
@@JayDragonarcProductions I'd say yes. Sarah Jane was a trustworthy adult, had experience of travelling with the Doctor, K9 to help, and friends at UNIT. Conversely the kids were pretty much on their own.
