Can we all take a moment to consider that after _The Husbands of River Song,_ Nardole travelled all the way to The Library, just to retrieve River’s diary, just to dramatically read it to the Doctor’s face?

River probably left the permission for him to kick the Doctor's Arse in the diary as well...
@@cloverandanais Well Nardole is a cyborg they could only eat his fleshy part at which point he'd still be alive and very cross. My guess is that they stay away from cyborgs as a general rule.

I adored Nardole. He was sarcastic, not afraid to talk back to the Doctor or kick his ass, but still respected the Doctor all the same.

i don’t think there will ever be another companion like nardole who was able to actually keep up with the doctor’s mind to some degree and understood so well how lonely the doctor was but also had the full right to put him in his place
With the exception of Paul McGann not getting at least 1 season as The Doctor, the biggest "what if" missed opportunity Doctor Who will ever have was Capaldi not getting a 4th season as The Doctor with Missy as his companion (alongside Bill and Nardole). I feel that would have been the ultimate TARDIS team as you would have the tragic hero (Capaldi knowing it's his final season), the romantic foil (Missy trying to be The Doctor's friend again), the exposition (Bill), and the likable comic relief (Nardole).
Nardole is not a comic relief, he's the Mom Squad
And Christopher Eccleston would have deserved to have as much seasons as his successors, too bad he had problems at work at that time he was good
Defeats the whole purpose of Missy's death, though. And Bill was great too.
@@Tibochapoadibelet: No, you end Season 10 on The Eaters Of Light, and the new Season 11 with Capaldi ends with World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls. Meanwhile, the first 10 episodes of the new Season 11 have the 4 of them traveling together while there are moments where Missy tries to be good as well as moments where she has visions of her own death/encounter with John Simm's Master.

I loved Nardole. i think he's my fave companion character. I loved the fact that he DIDN'T want to go on adventures, he just wanted to relax and hang out at the university and have tea, but he felt obligated to watch after the Doctor. It created a great character dynamic, and he and Capaldi played off each other perfectly.
I miss him so much, and I didn't even expect to like him after the initial announcement!

What's funny is that, since the Doctor put him back together, it could be argued that, at this point in time, he is indeed the Doctor's fault.

This is absolutely nothing against thirteen because she's amazing and I love her to death but I miss twelve so much. I wish we could have had five seasons of s10. Twelve, Bill, and Nardole were an iconic trio
Should have had at least as long as the Ponds. But it was important for Twelve's character development that Clara stuck with him, Missy had to do some Master-level villainy to be accepted and start her arc, and by that point Capaldi knew his performance would get worse if he kept going, so we just got a couple fantastic episodes.
I had this saturday, it was 2am, I was bored, I turned on Netflix, and I thought, “Let’s watch some big haired Capaldi episodes”. I got heart pangs.

Lumibear out of curiosity, which country do you watch from? In the US there’s no streaming service that carries it currently (Prime used to have it but as of Jan 1st of this year it’s rent-only) but I do have a VPN 🤔
no thanks - in the U.K., it’s on Netflix (almost everything except the most recent), BBC iPlayer, and all the classics are on Britbox.
Capaldi is such a fantastic doctor
I always remember people disliking nardole when these episodes aired but this duo was one of my favourite parts of series 10. Their interactions and back & forths always make me laugh
Nardole, Missy, and Bill was such a missed opportunity for a Tardis team. Their team could have been 2 more seasons. No romantic plot. Just comesy

His complete inability to commit to killing a character, his needless exposition and his constant need to reuse the angels and River were a complete drain on me. Both his doctors were saved by their last seasons and by the incredible talents of the two actors alone

Season 10 had some quite good episodes... Knock knock, oxygen, extremis, World enough and time, the doctor falls. I didn't think pyramid at the end of the world was too bad either

I can’t believe to this day how much I enjoyed Nardole post-Husbands of River Song. I HATED him in that special, and then he became a truly phenomenal part of one of the best TARDIS teams there’s ever been.

12 will always be my favorite Doctor. He was awesome! A bit Malcolm Tucker and a lot of Time Lord. I only wish we could have been introduced to his family when he returned to Gallifrey; he had waited so long for them; the return seemed a bit callous.

Peter Capaldi and Matt Lucas had amazing chemistry, and Pearl Mackie was just as wonderful with them. Haven't seen actor chemistry like that since Tennant and Tait.

As 12 would say, you did it, you FINALLY included Nardole in the mix ( I ❤️❤️❤️ the team of 12, Bill Potts and Nardole, the Mod Squad of Time and Space...circa 2017 of course ) You can almost hear Paula Abdul's Opposites Attract in the background, but I tell you, they were made for each other. Someone had to ease 12's occasional grumpiness, and inject some fun along the way. The... coolest...5... minutes..( and much awaited sequel to the 12 / Bill Potts video of yours )...EVER!! THIS video proves why after almost 3 years since Season 10, we...and me still ❤️/ 😎 Peter Capaldi...and Pearl Mackie....AND Matt Lucas too....AND YOU Dragonlcrd....aka allonsy mp4, for your fantastic videos on 12 and 13. I absolutely loved Nardole, great addition to the Tardis crew and I hope we get more companions that aren't just Modern Day Human. Obviously we'll always need one as the audience stand it, but still.

Nardole is the best psuedo companion
It took me a little while to warm to Nardole, but once he began travelling with the Doctor and Bill full-time, I grew to love him. By the end of the series I didn't want him to go! He had a very unique relationship with the Doctor. Their friendship felt really special because it was River Song who brought them together. And I think the way that he called the Doctor "sir" was rather sweet.

Nardole is certainly the mother of twelve, they both liked each other but kept disturbing each other, twelve was always stubborn and nardole always reprimanded him for something he had done wrong.

That scene where the Doctor realizes Nardole is taking the tardis somehow reminds me of Doc Brown.
