- I ordered a mystery box of vintage patterns from the 1950's thru the 1980's. I have no idea what is inside, so come hang out with me Friday, April 16th, 2021 at 8pm EDT and find out what patterns I got!
Anyone who would like to claim patterns as I find them is welcome to do so, however, all requests will be processed through email or IG DM.

Sorry, I missed it! I poured a glass of wine because I knew there was something planned, but i forgot what the fun thing was and instead I sewed a new bra 😅. I’m catching up now.

RE: Simplicity 8693 & 5672. I wore this dress in the early 90's. with long sleeves and low drop waist with the lower pleats. Loved this dress style for me.

Gah! I'm so sad I missed the live. I got distracted by a grumpy toddler and an even grumpier husband lol. Ended up staying up after they went to bed to watch though. And i definitely love the idea of lots for sale by Era or style, personally I don't care about size because I have to grade up everything anyway, but im sure in the minority on that one
Or they would toss in the trash. My eldest daughter use to go dampers diving and brought home a lot of patterns with no jacket cover.
That 1910s pattern that you mentioned, would you be willing to sell pdf copies of it? I'd love to have a crack at that pattern, but postage would cost more than the pattern itself, and I know of a place near me (in Melbourne) that does plan printing super cheap.
I am going to try and concoct a measurement sheet for those that paper is too pricey for.

When you describe a pattern as a one peice dress what does that mean?
It means that the dress is in one full piece (meaning that no matter how many panels or pieces there are, once the dress is done it is one physical garment). There are two piece dresses, what we tend to refer to as suits nowadays.
I truly enjoyed this. You mentioned a vintage Facebook group, but I can't find where you mentioned the name. I would love to join a safe, vintage loving group on FB, that you could recommend??
