Dear Indoora, I cannot imagine anywhere, I'd rather stay than at this wonderful cottage. It would make me feel completely in peace with the world and give me so much joy. I feel almost greedy after having a piece of that pie, a work of art, nothing less. The ability of creating such a peaceful, beautiful day with quiet, cosy things to do, is a gift. I study all of the items you use for baking and cooking, adore the rose wallpaper and the rose teacups..everything so neat and decorative and also, very inspirational for new ideas to use in my own home. Thank you dearest. Here's a big hug for you too. One day...perhaps...I'll take you to my favourite tearoom in the small town I love to visit. It is a lovely, little tearoom with delicious food and the most tempting spread of homebaked cakes. There is an old stove in the middle of the room and all sorts of quirky things, dotted around. I love to sit there and listen to the talking. I know many gems in Scotland, this is a treasure. 😊
Indoora querida me has llevado a mi niñez. Vivía en el campo y juntaba hojas de trébol de 4 hojas y las ponía entre libros. Tenía dos quedaron cómo papel. Presté el libro y no volvió y se fueron las hojas😮. La tarta qué espectacular quedó!!! Todo el video y sus sonidos y movimientos son magistrales!!! Sigue adelante!!!!❤

I absolutely adore your videos. The tranquility, the serenity, the grace, the imagination, and the creativity you employ sometimes can almost bring me to tears because of the beauty of the content you create. Your productions don't make me fall asleep like some ASMR, but they bring me a sense of calm and peace like no other videos can. Somehow, your creations resonate with me more than any other that I have seen, and I cannot express accurately with words alone how much that means to me. So, thank you for the beyond-amazing content that you provide. I truly, truly appreciate you. In this video I noticed for the blind-bake of your crust, you used sugar to weight down the crust - that reminded me of the time I learned I could "toast" sugar to make a new flavor profile for my baking. Was that your intention here? If not, you might try toasting a batch of sugar and seeing how you like that. The flavor becomes slightly nutty, like toasted marshmallow, and has a delicate yet complex flavor with notes of caramel. I toast sugar by pre-heating my oven to 150C, and using a 33 x 23 x 5 cm glass baking dish, adding about 1500 grams of sugar. I place the pan with sugar in the oven, and stir every 30-45 minutes, being careful to scrape the sides so my sugar doesn't melt. It takes about 2-4 hours, but when the sugar has turned a beautiful ivory color, or the lightest of caramel colors, I take it out and let it cool until it room temperature. I place it in its own container, and use it for special good. It is always surprising how much flavor it can add to ordinary baked goods, but it is also wonderful because it is different. You may already have done this in the past, but in case you have not I wanted to share a little tip, because you have shared so many with me and I always appreciate learning new things from you.

Regarding the sugar used for the blind-bake, thank you for the tip! I had no idea! :) Actually, I did not have anything at home to use as weight and I learned some time ago that you can use sugar that was used for this purpose, unlike beans or rice. So since I do not blind-bake often, I thought I had to give sugar a try! I am trying to reduce the amount of sugar I use on my baking (which is the only moment I use sugar), but I love learning these things, thank you again!
What a dearly adorable cottage. I love all these waves and such! The wallpaper is so pretty! What a soothing video to watch in the morning after I got ready and while my sons are all still asleep. Always an amazing baker and always making me wish I could eat all the fruity things I can't! The little sugar container bag . . .if only stores made their bags this pretty to sell in modern day! I really enjoyed watching you make the little cards with the flowers and words. This was my first time seeing pink pasta.

Peach and nectarine are cousins of the apricot and the custard that you used for the recipe, and the combination of cashew pasta, radish and beetroot is less tasty to me in my opinion, I prefer spicy and hot food, but I understand that you are following a recipe book

In this video I noticed for the blind-bake of your crust, you used sugar to weight down the crust - that reminded me of the time I learned I could "toast" sugar to make a new flavor profile for my baking. Was that your intention here? If not, you might try toasting a batch of sugar and seeing how you like that. The flavor becomes slightly nutty, like toasted marshmallow, and has a delicate yet complex flavor with notes of caramel.
I toast sugar by pre-heating my oven to 150C, and using a 33 x 23 x 5 cm glass baking dish, adding about 1500 grams of sugar. I place the pan with sugar in the oven, and stir every 30-45 minutes, being careful to scrape the sides so my sugar doesn't melt. It takes about 2-4 hours, but when the sugar has turned a beautiful ivory color, or the lightest of caramel colors, I take it out and let it cool until it room temperature. I place it in its own container, and use it for special good. It is always surprising how much flavor it can add to ordinary baked goods, but it is also wonderful because it is different.
You may already have done this in the past, but in case you have not I wanted to share a little tip, because you have shared so many with me and I always appreciate learning new things from you.

Regarding the sugar used for the blind-bake, thank you for the tip! I had no idea! :) Actually, I did not have anything at home to use as weight and I learned some time ago that you can use sugar that was used for this purpose, unlike beans or rice. So since I do not blind-bake often, I thought I had to give sugar a try! I am trying to reduce the amount of sugar I use on my baking (which is the only moment I use sugar), but I love learning these things, thank you again!
