I cannot believe you did this all by yourself. I feel so ashamed I did the same thing to my convertible. I put floors trunk floors and 2/4 panels and you did all this all by yourself.❤😂😂 great job I guess I’m a sissy and I need help you put the whole floor in by yourself I would’ve needed someone to help me push the rest of the work. I got all by myself but man, you’re a strong dude love the channel and I’m going to subscribe.😊
I'm getting ready to start a 63 convertible Impala restoration yeah check out that video it's pretty rough but we're going to take care of it and make it like new, hey thank you for the support I really appreciate it
Dear lord brother so much to learn and do. Surely shows how much time and passion goes into your work truly incredible brother very happy to be a part of this with you 😀. If I was close to where you lived I would be at your shop alot I help out my friend here in dawson creek bc Canada at his shop for free just to be a part of this and learn. So I am watching your videos liking leaving comments to show our support for you brother 🙏 and may God bless you and yours
@Guzzi Fabrication brother, I believe that you are an incredible blessing to us car lovers. So God bless you and yours and the work you do. Much love and respect 🙏.
Another excellent video !! Awesome work . Keep the great videos coming !!! P.S. The pneumatic punch works great and they aren't expensive . Just a suggestion.
Robert, I really appreciate your videos, for the top notch craftsmanship and for the clear and concise presentation. I am deconstructing a 61 bubbletop in preparation for the same floor assy replacement. My trunk floor is in remarkably good shape, my issues are all in the inner/outer rockers and the floor brace ends areas. There is a pair of pieces that no one talks about: the heavier stamped front rocker extensions that tie the front of the inner rocker to the cowl inner kick panel and floor side as well as holding the mount for the heel of the front fender. They are not reproduced. How do you deal with this, and may we see it?
Congratulations on having a bubble top ! highly desired car, the long and short of it is some parts are not reproduced and have to be either fabricated or found on a donor car. Thanks for watching !
@@guzzifabrication3448 Thanks for the quick reply! So if I may ask, which of those two options will you choose for the pieces that I spoke of on your current 62 restoration? (If you are going to fabricate, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would love to see it!)
Look exactly like the floor pan I bought for my 62 impala. It’s definitely not easy to install.where did you get the pan from ? Mine was from classic industries. Are you doing a trunk pan on that 62 ? That’s my next project. Great info bro keep up the good work!!
The customer delivered, not sure where it was purchased, after the floor pan is installed I'm cutting the entire back half of the Impala off.... * If you haven't installed the floor pan yet, pay close attention to the next video.... ran into a major issue with this floor. Thanks for your support and comments ! means alot !
On that floor pan looks like the inner rockers come with it..so your rocker panel assembly butts right up to it? Rockers I got have inner and outer as one unit from classic industries
Robert, Did those rockers have the internal brace in them? Im confused as to find correct ones for 62 convertible. Did all X frame models have that brace.
Unfortunately I haven't found a direct complete replacement for that car, however possibly a 60 Impala is close with modification.....Probably will have to piece that floor together. It can be done, good luck.
Nice work. Cleco temporary fasteners would be a good add to your tool box.
Thanks, I have a drawer full of clecos....Sometimes screws just work better
Such great work.
Thanks !

@@deuceman32 If the donor parts can be had..... that would be preferred, if not I will be fabricating what is necessary. Stay tuned.
I was always told primer causes rust true or false?
Only epoxy primer or primer with zinc have any type of weather / moister resistance.... lacquer primers urethane primers do not

I hava a convertible 62 impala with a bad frame, no floors and no rockers. Trying to figure out how to get a car like the one you have in the video
I meant cart

Yes
Any more updates on that build
@@gutierrezkustomz in a few weeks we'll be back on that project

You have to fabricate and install the braces on the convertible. Thanks for watching.
Did you buy the complete floor with inner rockers and rockers attached? Need to purchase just want to buy the exact floor. Thanks for sharing.
The floor and rockers are separate pieces, the inner and outer rockers are one piece. Thanks for watching !
@@guzzifabrication3448 got it thanks again.
How big do you make your plug holes, when drilling?
1/4 to 5/16 works well. Thanks for watching !
Where are you located? I have a 62 impala I would like to send your way
All of our contact info is in the description, hit "show more"
Do you wait until you have done all body repairs , then send the body off for media blasting.
Usually before but it depends on the project and customer specification
I've been following your videos and been wondering around how much this is going to cost?
Hey thanks for watching, I couldn't reach a until I'm finished
@@guzzifabrication3448 do you work on an hourly rate?
@@510quesoQuality job = hourly rate
so the otter rocker and inner rocker get put together first
I Don't understand the question.... install l/r rocker assemblies, then the floor pan
