    I noticed that I was over doing things because I noticed it in friends and family before I noticed it in myself . I don’t have to prove myself all the time. I have value and I don’t have to do a whole bunch of things to prove that

    Thank you, Debra and Focus on the Family. I paused the video and looked up 1 Peter 5:7. I was also reminded of Matthew 11:28. I prayed along these lines although I wasn't sure how it would help. Then I came back watched the rest of this video as well as Part 2.
    A few videos later I noticed the spirit of heaviness I felt earlier had lifted and I felt free to sit up (I'd been in bed all day.) I now feel freedom. I believe the heavy burdens on my mind and heart were lifted by Christ. I believe the same grace and mercy will be available to me tomorrow too in Jesus Christ.

    • @KJ-lb4tj
      @KJ-lb4tj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      A panic attack is a physical biological reaction in the sympathetic nervous system that was built to react in a dangerous situation and that by kicking in the parasympathetic nervous system you can get over panic and anxiety symptoms, like racing heartbeat, sweating, shortness of breath etc. Is that what your are thinking about or are you thinking about something else that causes a panic attack?

    Chemical imbalance (hormones) happens but is not The Cause...the psychiatry field is realizing this now. Emotional upsets set off the "chemical" (epinephrine, norepinephrine) actions and reactions. I was never halped by secular psychiatry (except the.pieary relief from antidepressants(, but even those I had to self-wean from them bcz after awhile I was NOT FEELING EMOTIONS I SHOULD BE...SUCH AS EMPATHY! Not until I became saved and received Jesus Christ as MY Savior did the emotional and spiritual issues begin to heal.

      I think it's possible when someone is a newer Christian especially. The healthy practices of learning and growing in faith may be present and active, but the long-term emotional habits that lead to being emotionally unhealthy are still there. It takes time to learn and apply biblical principles, which will then lead to greater emotional strength and health. But I do also understand what you mean in your comment. Hopefully with spiritual health, emotional health will follow, like described in Philippians 4.

    Jesus was asked by the Pharisees to test him what is the greatest commandment in the law. We are not under the Ten Commandments. We are dead to the law. Christ fulfilled the law. Jesus told Christians the greatest commandment to us is love one another as I have loved you. That is the greatest Commandment to Christians. Flirting with Moses is being unfaithful to Jesus.

    Life eternal with Christ in heaven is not necessarily our Christian destination. Jesus is coming back here to re make this world, to join His Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven... It's already started here on earth, just in a flawed way.

      So you are saying God’s Kingdom has already started here on earth, just in a flawed way? God’s Kingdom is not at all flawed, ever. The world is flawed, this is evidence that God’s Kingdom is not here on earth yet. You’re wording sounds like the false prosperity gospel I hear from false preachers. Be careful who you listen to. @@jesusislord6530 nope ... His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. If course we're already in his Kingdom. That's what happens when we are in Christ and he is in us.
