The ending had me emotional. I honestly haven't felt emotional for a Marvel movie since Endgame. I think this movie was the best film for James Gunm to go out on before leaving Marvel
Not trying to start argument but what about wandavsion, Loki,moonknght and Spider-Man no way home just to name a few those movies/shows had me crying at some moments lol

I really think that this movie was what Marvel was to afraid to show for Quantumania. Quantumania teased a lot of sad and emotional scenes but never showed it. This movie was terrific!

If this movie is taking the Guardians of The Galaxy into a more serious direction while at the same time being a masterpiece, then there should be no doubt in our minds that James Gunn is gonna do wonders with Superman and the DC universe

@@hemantks4353 nah keep the edgefest stuff to a minimum. Nothing wrong with comedy if it is done with balance. Several of DC's properties are just as goofy and comedic as some of Marvels and those definitely deserve time on the big screen.
I’m so excited to see this movie and I can’t take the critic review’s seriously saying that being serious is a bad thing after the outcry that the mcu is just comedies and when a movie goes dark all of a sudden it’s a bad thing. I love James Gunn’s work and I’m sure I will love this movie as well.

Being serious is what the MCU lacks these days. It has been proven time and time again that emotional moments shouldn't be overshadowed by the comedy that is also put in the movie, which was proven in Love and Thunder. Imagine subplots like cancer, butchering gods and losing someone you love again and to brush that aside with laughs was a missed opportunity.
Honestly critics have lost their impact. They just don't seem to critique films properly, or just feel like they are deliberately creating negative clout for online buzz
The animal cruelty complaints are the most eye rolling to me because 1 I know damn well the site has reviewed R rated movies with much more brutal stuff and 2 They act as if Marvel is confoning it but of course are forgetting the guy doing this is a VILLIAN!. Ine we’ve slready been made aware had little regard for animsls like Rocket.

This is the most hyped I have been for an MCU project since No Way Home! Hearing it takes itself serious and give us a heartfelt and sad ending to these characters is amazing because I am sucker for those kind of things and the MCU has been missing this over the last few years with exception to No Way Home and Wakanda Forever. It really sucks that this movie is coming out during exam season and I have to avoid spoilers for a couple of weeks 😭
The Music of the Guardians of the Galaxy films are always excellent!

I told myself I wasn’t watching any reviews but I couldn’t resist. I think our views on films are usually line up the same so I always keep ur reviews in mind when I see films
I don’t understand when people complain about a movie being dark. People always complain that the MCU is too goofy at times and not serious and then they give you a more serious movie and people whine “Oh it’s too serious and too dark.” Like do you want more serious or dark movies or not? I for one am happy that the MCU is making more serious and darker movies at times.
Can’t wait! The theater I’m going to is doing a marathon of all three movies a day before official release, and I am so ready to sit 7 hours watching these characters, so then the final movie will be so much more impactful!!
Guardians 1 and 2 were fun movies, the Holiday Special stole my heart and now I have almost every LEGO set for Guardians 3 and minifigures from the Holiday Special at my desk, and my tickets for opening night ready...I can't wait!

I stopped caring about the MCU after She-Hulk. BUT. I will make an exception for GoTG vol 3. LOVE the first 2 films and James Gunn's a FANTASTIC filmmaker. So yeah. Will definitely watch it in theaters. Awesome review!

I have just finished going to a YT GOTG3 Review Rabbit hole ... and this channel is the wonderful surprise and I will be adding you as a primary channel to look to for Honest Reviews .......... when a Movie shows you a direction just take the Ride ... its like a road trip ... You will not have time to stop everywhere but you enjoy the moments you get ... Adam Warlock is not the focal point ... he is just a past transgression coming back to haunt them .. .the real Villain is in front of them .. .Just like in part 2 .. I fully expected his appearance would be more of hurdle trying its best to keep up with them ... Volume 2 set that tone
I really hope that powerful moment you talk about is something that James Gunn would put in his DCU

I agree with you everything you said!!! Truly an awesome MCU masterpiece. One thought about Adam Warlock: I loved how James Gunn portrayed him. Instead of being this super-powerful powerhouse that everyone was expecting him to be, he was just a traumatized child continuously being talked down by his mother and mistreated by his creator. He just wanted a pet, friends, and a motive. He doesn't get much screen time, but it is understandable since there are soooo many characters in this movie. And for the little screen time he gets, you soon start feeling for him. Just genius. And of course, he ends up sympathizing with the guardians since he is also a misfit.

I just wondered why Starlord never used his helmet at all it was crazy . Also would of been nice to see Adam warlock come out of his pod . And would of been nice to see TVA get gamora
I swear anything about which guardians was gonna die in this movie was something everyone was speculating and not an official statement by Gunn because holy shit was I so taken aback when most of them almost died, especially (spoilers) at the end. Other than that, i thought this was absolutely incredible. Pacing is great, the action is godtier especially the one shot fight, soundtrack is epic asf, adam warlock was actually great, the villain is such an unhinged bastard, he was just asking to be dunked on by the guardians and we cant forget how tragic and dark rocket's origin is.
Avoiding reviews for this one until after I see it. I’ll make sure and come back on Thursday.
