In this video I try and fix my Uconnect screen! I’ve been having some issues of the “ghost touch”

Had this same issue but it hadn’t started the ghost touches yet it was just delaminating took it to the dealer and let them know it was happening and they replaced it for me for free thank god
How long did they take to fix it?
@@WinStreakFred they had to order a new one which took about a week when I dropped it off to have it fixed it only took about two hours.

Bro my charger dead ass has the same air bubble on it as yours I wish I could send u a pic to show you 😂 that black interior sucks up that heat and melts the glue from so many interior pieces in it lol
Yeah man it was super annoying. The heat is ridiculous in there when it’s hot 🤣
So how do we fix the problem ??? I’m hearing nothing but purchase a new radio 🤦🏽♂️
I re did the steps I did in the video and purchased a new LCD screen from Amazon and mine is back to normal
My 300S is doing the same thing, It’s annoying!!!
Saw a video where the guy did the same thing except he added glue on the screen so that's all your missing . The screen has to be stuck with adhesive to use the touch screen
Yeah I ended up purchasing a new LCD screen from Amazon and it fixed the issue

I cleaned up, too, and I had the same problem as you! I took off the screen cover again, it was very hot inside. Have you found a solution yet?
Not yet.. I tried messing with it again and it’s still glitching just not as bad.. other than buy a new radio I don’t know what to do
@@tallguyinahemi I'll ask the dealer next time I get it serviced. I heard that there was a recall about this screen before, although I didn't check whether my car was recalled.

@@AslantimurUA nope I just purchased this digitizer and followed the steps in the video a few times to remove that glue. It fixed it and is working like normal again!
