    Great job on the two-tone. You say it may not win any awards but building and painting it is an award unto itself.

    Great job indeed. You can also use mod podge gloss for windows. Pledge floor gloss is great for the windows and the whole body too gives a great shine

    Turned out sweet Mike, I use Micro Kristal Klear by Microscale, it's a white glue similar to Elmer's but dries faster, no more glue on glass issues, :) Tom

      Sounds great. The clear Elmers glue is working pretty good so I'll probably keep using it for awhile. Thanks for the tip.

    The distributor is on the wrong side. It's supposed to be in the front of the air cleaner. That why you had a problem putting on the body. Nice build though 👌👍

      Thanks Jeff. I think I'll keep using the Elmer's glue. It seems to be working pretty good.

    • @Jeffsmodelgarage
      @Jeffsmodelgarage 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Lozano Elmer’s is pretty much the same so your good I think the canopy glue dries faster but both are good

    Great job,Mike.Question....did you wait for the paint to dry before you took the tape off ?

    • @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756
      @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did but I think my technique is a bit off. Still learning!

    • @charlie418791
      @charlie418791 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do not let your paint dry before you pull off the tape.Pull the tape off right away, or as soon as possible.This should cut down on some of your tape problems.By letting the paint dry first and then pulling tape,the paint is now dry and there's more of a chance of lifting off paint.Also,always paint your light color,first.It's easier to cover a light color than it is a dark one.You must be reading my mind.I've been wanting to do a brown/tan paint job.Next truck.
      Great work.👍

    Nice work man, I like the paint combo bro, the interior looks nice, and the engine looks good, but the wiring is out of scale, but looks good though...

    • @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756
      @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Marcos. Yes, I've got to start using a smaller gauge wire if I'm going to keep wiring motors!

    • @marcosfernandeznanita7150
      @marcosfernandeznanita7150 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome Mike, you can use 28 gauge for spark wires and 26 for batteries, starer and small things, if anything let me know, I'll do my best to help...

    • @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756
      @mikelozanoscustommodelshop8756  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much Marcos. Like I said before, maybe someday I'll build models at the quality that you do. Your models are fantastic! Peace brother.

      Thank you Mike, you're a great builder, I see a lot of potential on your builds, just need to look for new stuff and improve your self on every build, trust me, I'm not even closet of what I wanted to be building model speaking...

  • @toddmiller86

    I ain't trying to nitpick you brother but it's a Ford in your distributor should be in the front of the motor that's Words Factory made that would have helped you with your wiring problem
