No. The only people punished by this are ARMY who can't pay or don't have a credit card. Haters and Antis have enough money to send wreaths - they won't stay away. Toxic solo stans and shippers will pay anything to be heard. It won't solve anything. Moderators are the way to go.
Great suggestion! It also filters out nonsense spammy comments and jokes that are no longer funny. All the people telling them to speak English would be stopped.
The guys don't want that, they want to go live whenever they feel like, and not worry someone is working at 2 am to be a mod for their weverse live. Jungkook (and the others) took certain steps over time to be able to communicate with army withthout involving Big Hit staff in it. I think it would be restrictive for them and would do it less if someone has to be a mod in the live
Even though BigHit can afford it, it's not feasible as the guys jump onto live on a whim. JK said he didn't give the company any notice so there weren't real translations. I wouldn't want the guys to be limited in the times they can go live.
Valid point people on YT send superchats all the time to spew nonsense. They wouldn’t even think twice to pay for an Army membership to do the same on Weverse.
They should have moderators. Why punish ARMYs who can't afford it or are to young to have any money. They can limit number of messages on live per account and have moderators. If they limit number of messages you can send on live, people will be asking more meaningful things and stop spamming stupid s**t. Let's say...3-5 messages per account is enough. Haters will pay for membership to spread hate so taking it from ARMYs is not cool imo.
I like this idea better than making people pay. If they get a limited amount for all idols across the platform, they will be more likely to use them on the ones they like instead of being hateful and annoying to others.
No, I'm a senior citizen and I know I'm not the only one who loves & supports the guys by streaming & purchasing when I can. I would be really sad if I couldn't see any of their lives without paying. It's not a matter of being willing to pay but being able to pay. It's like real army will be punished but antis will spend the money like they did on all the wreaths, etc..
I get what many are saying about moderators and that makes sense. However I'm not opposed to making the comment section on lives army membership holders only (not an additional fee or a monthly fee to use just make it apart of the already existing army membership), everyone can watch for free but it limits how many are commenting during the live as well as when you purchase a membership you have to supply them with credit information that includes info like your address. It makes it much easier to identify those individuals making hate comments towards the members & banning them from weverse. Most haters don't pay for anything on their troll accounts because they know it makes it easier to track their info so majority of antis are there commenting for free.
I can't afford a membership as I'm a senior citizen on a fixed budget but if someone wanted to sponsor me I would join. I'd rather spend what I can on their CDs to support their music. I also now pay for premium Spotify so my streams will count for more.
They need moderators and a stricter paywall. When I watch the live at this point I just shut down the chat. Unfortunately the members don’t have that option.
I don’t use Weverse but I understand the need to limit access for hateful comments BUT it is kind of a punishment to fans that can’t afford to pay for all the stuff. I think having at least 2 moderators that control what can be said…and 1 to help the artist pick out questions and comments that the artist would want to not miss. Comments come very fast. Put also on delay….ban ppl that are disrespectful
I am sorry but with 20 million people watching, even if you have 1000 or even 10,000 haters, solos and shippers commenting, it is still a drop in the ocean. That doesn't make it right but it comes on any platform with such a big viewership. If bad comments are found during or even analysed after a stream these users must be BLOCKED FOREVER from Weverse. They need to draw a line and get rid of the trash.💜
When Weverse was first announced I was hoping it would be more difficult to join--similar to their old fan cafe. By anyone with an email being able to join and post there are horrible things being posted all the time (hate, spam, etc). There needs to be way more moderation of posts or some way of screening people who are joining. In regards to the Weverse lives I agree that comments should be limited to fanclub members, or some sort of time delay. Yes, there will still be some haters, but it would significantly cut down on the amount and it would be easier to trace and block the offenders.
As others have said, the answer is moderation. Take twitch chats or a discord server. Both implement heavy modding. Chat should have a 30 second delay where mods have time to delete comments before they are even seen. Having slow mode in the chat where someone can only comment every 2 minutes would also help a lot with spam and the ability for moderators to do their jobs. I support requiring someone to login to an account to comment, but not paid only. BTS are an international group with fans from countries whose dollar is worth substantially less than the Korean won, making even a cheap subscription an expensive purchase for them. They have poor fans all over the world who can't afford concerts or merch, and who rely on the lives to connect with BTS. I don't think this should be taken away from them when there are things BH can do on their own end to minimize the issues that they currently aren't doing.
If ARMY have to pay, it limits the access they can have & could result in the loss of fans & could be prohibitive for the joining of new fans. These haters have sent many wreaths which proves they have the money to pay to comment also. Restricting live comments would play into the haters hands, if they can't express the malicious thoughts, they would be more than happy to see Army losing out too.
I think their hate for BTS would cause them to pay for the membership anyway. I say to have moderators to filter messages. I do a lot of reporting to BH during his live so BH will see their comments and sue them.
Yeah agree with you. I do the same. I do it also after the Chat on the weverse fanchat by writing clear messages to stop the hate in hope that I can even reach even 1 of those vile people, although I know that the majority will still continue with their evil comments, but I guess it's better to try sth than to do nothing At all.
I think they just need moderators. Having to pay might help but you know there are haters you would gladly pay to insult BTS. And many fans just can't afford to pay.
Hmm, maybe lives need a moderator to help filter out haters/ toxic language. P.S. I think Suga once said he / Bangtan know how to use negative energy to motivate themselves. The more haterz come at them, the more they will feel inspired to succeed. 💜
NO. It's not fair to allow haters to cause real Army to have to pay to see their guys! There are many other ways to deal with comments. The guys are NOT babies. They know how to roll with the punches when haters show themselves.
Mods are best... but I've been a paid member for a long time and I can verify that when we post in the free areas we often are messaged by fakers. But when we post in paid areas... like on videos... we don't get those posts. I say make the comments limited to paid membership. Let everyone watch, but limit the comments. The comments are overloaded anyway. Will it eliminate every single anti message? No. But it appears to really cut it down tremendously. Free Weverse members can still post messages in the regular fan chat main page.
Paid as in the new digital membership or ARMY membership? I have ARMY membership, but I don’t go on Weverse often enough nor can afford in general a monthly digital membership on top of ARMY membership. Moderators and filters are needed
I have both, but I think having just regular ARMY membership would be enough. I'm really on the fence about the digital part as I'm just trying it out. I do go there daily, but I'm still not sure of the benefit and necessity of the digital one. It's just supposed to keep you from seeing ads, unlimited fan letters, some VOD download benefits, etc. They are supposed to add some things to it we'll see what I think in a couple of months.
Only let membership holders write comments. However it should be available to watch for free. Most haters are solos and toxic shippers. Majority of solos will never get a BTS membership for a group they want to consistently disband. If haters want to spend money that's their choice. Weverse can counter with bans through moderaters.
I say no to both watching & chat I know it can be hard on the guys & I hate that for them, but there are a lot of Army's that can't afford it. They have always blessed us with being able to watch & listen to their music
I think it should be included with a paid membership and a lower tier for those who only want live translations and for those who can’t afford they would either rewatch later or follow along with live translators like those on Twitter. There is ALWAYS a work around you have to sometimes put in the work. Like I can afford it but won’t pay when I can follow along for free on Twitter.
BTS first took to Weverse to connect with Army's. BTS and Army have a cymbiotic relationship. Blood energy love transfers back and forth through these live interactions. It hurts to watch haters win in limiting Army's access to interactions.
We can come together and build funds for the ARMY who can't afford albums; we can do the same for the $22 membership for the real ARMY. Moreover, membership should be an advantage (not really any right now). The membership pays for the site to run Weverse and the tech, so the guys (and smaller groups) can have access to fans for free. We are only talking about the chat, not access to the live. All people can watch, but only members can chat, which is what is being suggested.
The haters are a variety of people and children. As other artists move up the haters will increase. This is something that should be handled by the company if need be. Personally I don’t think they pay attention to the negativity because they are use to this and pay it no attention.
The company should go through the comment archive and ban users who leave offensive comments. Block their IP addresses so they can't create new accounts. That way they'll be blocked from interacting with their own faves weverse account as well
There isn't many options to eradicate haters and antis from making horrific comments during BTS member's Weverse lives, other idols are subjected to this negativity as well. To make it exclusive to paying Armys is unfair to Armys who have been with BTS since the beginning and throughout their careers. Saying this is no small thing~ not everyone can afford such things as a membership fee, and it creates a situation that is not conducive for new fans~ BTS is not an exclusive or private club. I think the only ones that have a real say so are the members themselves....just as they said to trust them~ we should in the face of adversity, supposition and rumor. After looking at all the criticism these wonderful men have endured to become who they are now~ they have my deepest respect, trust and support. If they say it themselves, I'll believe it's a solution. RM said it best: Haters gonna hate and lovers gonna love..peace out. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 It's only a matter of 5 1/2 months or so before they are all together once more, hang tough Armys, it's almost over 💜👑💐💜
I fully agree with only paid Army membership being able to join in the chat as a way to monitor what's going on - moderators are a good idea as well but that means the group members will have to do this as a scheduled thing that BigHit know about, rather than the random lives that JK does as an example. Would still appear to us as spontaneous but behind the scenes they [Bangtan] will have given BH a heads up for a moderator to be on hand. If it ends up being part of the digital membership, I and many like me, will never see lives in real time - I have Army membership but that's the limit for me at this time. It is a dilemma - and I do agree that the anti's and the haters will find a way to circumnavigate things - that said - any obstacle/s put in their path are better than none.
I think the guys know to ignore negative comments. The comments also come so quickly that it's difficult to read. ARMY probably read more comments than the guys. The suggestions that the comments are time-delayed and checked by AI would help to keep negative comments from being seen.
Personally, I think it's better for the chat to be moderated than deprive ARMYs without memberships a chance to chat with the members. I am one of the many ARMYs out there, who is without a Weverse membership. And I want to participate in the lives and chat with the members. I want to wish them well and send them my love, but I can't do that if the chat is limited to membership holders. Limiting the live chat to membership holders won't just punish haters, it'll punish the ARMYs without memberships also. The members have said that they want to see all of their fans, why deprive them of that on their lives? Weverse lives are the only place where the members can see(or rather read) the messages of all of their fans from all over the world in one place. It's not fair to the members themselves to deprive them of seeing all their fans on their lives(by "all of their fans" I mean "all the fans able to catch their lives"). I understand the intention, we all want to protect the members from the haters, antis, Solos(the toxic ones), and the toxic shippers. However, sacrificing the ARMYs who can't pay for memberships shouldn't be the cost to do so. It only causes more problems and division amongst ARMY as a whole. It lumps us in with the haters who deserve to be removed from the live chat. It's already hard enough for us to see the members in concert, but limiting us from chatting with the members on their lives adds even more hardships to us ARMYs, who can't pay for memberships. It's a better option to have the chat moderated because moderating the chat will ensure that the members never see any hate comments or comments that could make them uncomfortable. The comment would be deleted before the member would see it. There should also be a limit to how many messages you can send at a time and a time limit to provide more ARMYs chance to chat while the haters wait for their time limit to be up to chat again. The moderator should also be allowed to time out or kick out haters from the live chat. The haters will most likely be discouraged to continue to hate on any member of BTS or the group in general on their lives, if they know that the chat is moderated. It's a much better solution than just sacrificing so many ARMY, who can't pay for memberships.
Agree 100%. Beautifully said. I am saddened as I don’t pay for membership and I can no longer comment when they do their Lives. I can only send a 💜. I am thankful for the Lives, but I think they may lose some old and new fans if people have to pay as not everyone is in the position to do so. I would rather spend my money on purchasing an album. The haters will still find a way to do their negative comments. So sorry for what is in their hearts. What a sad way to live your life. 💜 🇨🇦
If they feel that they need to have better protection. I also understand no due to financial issues. But I would happily wait for reports so that they can be safe.
BTS knows what hate means and there is no hate without admiration and envy and anyway they cannot be blind of the haters just ignore them as they have been doing till know also take in mind that if they want to continue growing thats not make anysense to have to pay to check them
I do or some version of that and have commented on the Weverse fb page with a few other suggestions, frankly I wrote in the hopes it would trigger them to address it in any way they develop or see fit, something needs to be done (it’s highly distressing that celebrities are put in this position and must deal with it just because they are famous) but boy oh boy was there outrage. What I said is maybe everyone gets viewing access but comments are limited to members & people were salty to say the least, what got me was people’s primary concern for themselves, it was all about how it was going to affect their viewing pleasure/experience but what it is addressing is someone’s safety, mental health and personal rights as a human being. & this is what gets me about the industry and fans, it gives rise to the question of do we really care for these people, as human beings? How much does our behaviour contribute to their experience negatively - is isolating them, invading their personal space and putting our entertainment needs above their mental health really acceptable? After the Yoongi incident I was questioning my role in the fandom/industry and frankly more and more I am reflecting on whether I want to still be part of the toxic, I/ego driven energy which is so prominent. Hybe and Bighit have a duty of care, I hope it’s addressed eventually and not seen as the norm.
Lives for free but pay to chat. Idk if mods would change the authenticity of the members' interactions or not, which gives me apprehension about using them.
I'm still tripping over the hate..my god. I don't hate nobody in kpop. I wish them the best. I don't get it. Kpop idols don't get up online or interviews and start fueds or go after each other so why fans do this is bizarre
No, there are so many that can't afford it and yet wanna watch news and stuff. Just report those who throw hate so they totaly get removed from weverse
Now they have digital membership besides the actial annual membership. So in order to chat you should be a paid member. But everybody should be able to watch the lives
also I think the members can choose to make their lives members only if they want, no? Other artists do that. So if they wanted to they could already, but I think it's important to BTS that every fan that wants to can watch their lives
I think whether it goes membership only will come down to the members themselves. Correct me if I'm wrong, but were Jin's Happy showcases due to be membership or album purchasers only until he asked for it to be opened up to all Weverse users? Also, an observation I have is that the number of hate comments depends on the member. Jin's early hours 'Super Tuna' live had far less from what I could see than JK's recent early hours karaoke session. I do think it's worse for the maknae line and I feel incredibly sorry for them that it's that way.
No. I'd say either hire moderators and delay comments by 10 seconds so they can get to them before the members can see them, or everyone can watch but only paid members can write comments
It think what yhry shoudk limit is the abulity to comment during lives, that one should be paid for as a figital mrmbership but anybody should be able to watch the live freely without necessarily being able yo comment, unless they pay
No, I don't think it should be limited to paid, however it can be limited by just creating other approval methods: 1 - paid membership 2 - account with previous purchases via approved payment method (aka HYBE knows who they are IRL if they act badly) 3 - minimal 100 posts to members beginning at least 14 days prior (will it stop everyone? no. but it will require them to spend time on weverse in advance and create posting history) Alternatively, non-approved posters could post, but the members cannot see them. so those people feel they are participating but the members cannot be harmed. This is how people who have repeatedly reported posts should also be handled, because they won't know they are in the cornfield and create a new acct to restart, but that they don't bother anyone. also a list of hard rules really needs to be posted as you log into every live so they cannot act dumb
true so many can’t afford it live is live and unfortunately fame is not easy it comes with it’s territory The only thing I will do is advise to Army not repeat haters words
For the sake of the artist I think nit should be membership only and if that's not possible then leaving a comment on a chat should only be available to membership army. For those that can't afford it they can watch the replay after on TH-cam.
No, but I do think maybe they shld make it so only those who are members can comments. There are so many bad comments, I hope it would deter it. Idk maybe not.
I prefer mods/ai or pay to comment bc adding a paywall to something that was previously free isn't going to sit well imo. But that's likely what Hybe would do. They've already added ads to lives, might as well go full streaming service and add a subscription fee 😮💨
There should be a delay for the comments, so hateful or key words can be deleted before they show up on the feed. When their comments can’t get through they will move on. Also kick them out of the live.
I would say no, it is cost prohibitive. I'm trying to figure out how to buy merchandise that comes with an overly hefty shipping cost to the USA. There is nothing to stop them from buying a membership. Could there be a way to track comments? I continued to think. Charge for access to the comments. Leave the rest free. Agree with moderators or some type of system check.
No. Moderator is a good idea as another said before. I think they as seven need to make a statement about shippers, haters, etc. I think all the idol bands/companies need to unite on the message. The idols want the numbers. Jung Kook wanted to hit a certain number.
The problem is not about the tonpaid or not for comunication with artist it is about the privatization of the arts field. Hybe can afford moderators and nothing is free, we are giving a bunch of private information to Hybe already to ask for more. If they want to ask for payment it is fine, at one point they will lost part of their public. And I think that block words can just erase conversations that are not degrading but might be sensitive in some contexts or aimple missunderstood. But that is my point of view.
No. BTS were once dirt poor too. It would monetise interaction with artists, limiting them to cater only to those who can afford it - which would not stop haters nor organised antis. There's already so much monetising beyond the music and concert to membership, merch, promotion of luxury brands etc. Use mods to filter questions to artists if needed, limit the number of comments per viewer, pre-submit questions, ban for a time those posting hate can be a better use of the money already poured into HYBE. Making them the artists of the rich (or those who are able to gain access to a credit card which can be difficult in some countries for women eg) is the last thing you want to at this time of growing class unrest! Money doesn't eliminate hate, quite the opposite.
Honestly, have any of you ever gotten a direct response to your comments during a live? I don’t even try commenting, and don’t pay attention to others’ comments. Limit those who can comment to 1,000, then have moderators kick out haters and add new commenters as the ranks get thinned.
I made this comment on twitter about limiting the chat to membership ARMY and I was attacked by multis, solos and haters (yes I checked their accounts, some weren't even ARMY) screaming "Classism", so I deleted because they were poisoning my notifications. I'll say there are multiple ways to check if you're a true ARMY and to be allowed to comment or chat, of course viewing should be allowed for everyone... Here is my options:: 1. Obviously a paid membership should be allowed to comment. 2. A newly subscribed to BTS weverse account should not be allowed, and no need to have the membership (the ability to chat should be unlocked after a certain period after subscribing) 3. You should be allowed to chat if you visited BTS weverse a certain amount of time in the last months (just like for example the badges we are collecting on weverse, one of them is earned if you have 15 cumulative daily visits) 4. At least 1 BTS or any member's album purchases in the last year... That purchase will unlock your ability to chat. If you reach just one of these conditions, you'll be allowed to chat... Of course there would be still intruders but way less, and it will be easier to report them in real time so they will be blocked.
No.. People with paid memberships are not better humans. Haters won´t stay away. they are already paid members. I would delete my account if Weverse really would do that.
havent watched it yet but going by the title, maybe if only members could comment. then anyone that post nasty comments can be banned in the future because they have their info. moderators would be tough sometimes when they come on live randomly at 3 am with no warning to the company. ( cough..JK.. cough)
Maybe make it free to view and give 💜’s but only paid membership holders can comment? Something needs to be done regardless because some of these comments are so awful. I report as often as I can but so many get by.
Weverse staff should just block antis or haters in future lives. But one artist did say, an anti-fan is still a fan. So.. 😂😂😂 We are aware that when sued, some antis or haters are as young as 10-12yr olds, and did it just for attention from the artist. Crazy huh? 😅😅😅 Also agree with Moderators. Hybe has the resources to employ staff or get AI to moderate. So anytime JK feels he wants to connect with us, he can. Just switch on the AI Moderator. a delay in comments being posted will also help in Moderating. so the anti/hater doesn't get the satisfaction of seeing fans reacting/responding to them. their comments would just be drowned out by fans' comments 😊😊😊
No. Artist can handle the negativity. Weverse is for army. Haters are always going to be around and the artist can handle it on their own. They are not children. They are grown. The good outweighs the bad. They are strong enough after all they have been through. All Weverse should be able to chat. Let Hybe handle it.
At least HYBE should change it that users must have membership to COMMENT cause that is where the problems are… in the comments. They did it for NewJeans app so they can do it on Weverse too
There are many fanbases using Weverse and Welive- will they have access to the lives of other groups? Also, this was an unscheduled live. Will Weverse be able to mobilize quickly enough to police the spur of the moment lives that JK tends to do?
I think there should be someone who will delete hatefull or repetetive comments before the guys sees them for 2 reasons: 1st it shouldn't be room given for toxic people. 2nd so many are just writing Nonsense or repeat themselves again and again that the members can't really read the good comments because 100s of Million messages coming in within seconds, so they can't keep trace. There are so many Teenagers (I assume) who don't even listen to what they are saying, but just repeating "I love you, Oppa". It's really annoying. Army can deal with haters but we can do nothing about annoying Teenies who have their own war of hormones 😏
Either way, each account is monitored and can be reported & blocked if necessary. Many can't afford or their parents won't pay for memberships. For those that don't have the money, they are left out although they wish to show support! BTS members did not have money in their early days, they still want to see the the support of all army. Haters waste time & money right now, membership fees won't change that. It has also been proven that other agencies have tried to sabotage both the men & fans, & they are willing to spend the cash to do so.
I'm not sure about the amount of hate comments, are there so many running non stop in the screen? I must be a slow reader or ignorant of other languages. Would it be another tactic for making fans pay more for everything? That's enough. IA may help in instant moderation. Some fans can also watch for free but no write comments or just a limited number of them. Or just let freedom of speech go even in a nasty side. I assume artists give few credit to haters, handle such attitudes as part of their job and may be less affected than fandom. We can't avoid praise nor rejection, the sun can't be hidden with a finger
HYBE had a full year to improve their technology and add some type of screening, but their premiere artists still have to put up with this trash? I thought they were a technology company. They need to get real and protect artists + the rest of us from these garbage cans disguised as fans spewing in public
No.
The only people punished by this are ARMY who can't pay or don't have a credit card.
Haters and Antis have enough money to send wreaths - they won't stay away.
Toxic solo stans and shippers will pay anything to be heard.
It won't solve anything.
Moderators are the way to go.
Yes!!!!
Agreed.
I like the idea of there being a monitor to make sure any hate remarks are removed before viewed on either side.
They should collect questions in a separate account and send the appropriate ones to the artist during the live.
Great suggestion! It also filters out nonsense spammy comments and jokes that are no longer funny. All the people telling them to speak English would be stopped.
The guys don't want that, they want to go live whenever they feel like, and not worry someone is working at 2 am to be a mod for their weverse live. @@susank2283true. Maybe an AI mod for the spontaneous lives? It's not perfct, but even if it only catches half the hate, it'd surely help.
@@susank2283 If the moderators are AI, then that's not really an issue.
comments on lives should be membership only and anyone reported should br banned
No. Theyll just pay for the membership and still throw hate.

I like this idea better than making people pay. If they get a limited amount for all idols across the platform, they will be more likely to use them on the ones they like instead of being hateful and annoying to others.

I pay the membressy but I really think that the vlive must remain free for everyboday to see it haters are gonna hate anyway
Comments to members only - let people watch but it will cut down the negativity. I agree with other that have said having Moderators
Hmm, maybe lives need a moderator to help filter out haters/ toxic language.
P.S. I think Suga once said he / Bangtan know how to use negative energy to motivate themselves. The more haterz come at them, the more they will feel inspired to succeed. 💜
They have to see the hate to get the motivation
The love of the RMY motivates them more. They are adults now. They brush off the antis.
💜
NO. It's not fair to allow haters to cause real Army to have to pay to see their guys! There are many other ways to deal with comments. The guys are NOT babies. They know how to roll with the punches when haters show themselves.
No, I can't afford the membership fee
Mods are best... but I've been a paid member for a long time and I can verify that when we post in the free areas we often are messaged by fakers. But when we post in paid areas... like on videos... we don't get those posts. I say make the comments limited to paid membership. Let everyone watch, but limit the comments. The comments are overloaded anyway. Will it eliminate every single anti message? No. But it appears to really cut it down tremendously. Free Weverse members can still post messages in the regular fan chat main page.
I agree
I say no to both watching & chat
I know it can be hard on the guys & I hate that for them, but there are a lot of Army's that can't afford it. They have always blessed us with being able to watch & listen to their music
No. Just have moderators. Right now ARMYs who can report the offensive posts. It would restrict their exposure to legitimate ARMY.
To protect the members yes!!! I understand some will not be able to pay but it's for the safety of the members.
Yes! Moderators are the way to go.
Yes, but you have to give your real ID. So if they post hate HYBE can find them.
Exactly
The haters are a variety of people and children. As other artists move up the haters will increase. This is something that should be handled by the company if need be. Personally I don’t think they pay attention to the negativity because they are use to this and pay it no attention.
I’rather block those users who throw trash comments.
The company should go through the comment archive and ban users who leave offensive comments. Block their IP addresses so they can't create new accounts. That way they'll be blocked from interacting with their own faves weverse account as well
Sou Army "nova" , 65 anos e gostaria de ajuda para me inscrever no weverse. Tenho alguma dificuldade com modernidades, mas amo os meninos.
RM said it best:
Haters gonna hate and lovers gonna love..peace out.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
It's only a matter of 5 1/2 months or so before they are all together once more, hang tough Armys, it's almost over 💜👑💐💜
I fully agree with only paid Army membership being able to join in the chat as a way to monitor what's going on - moderators are a good idea as well but that means the group members will have to do this as a scheduled thing that BigHit know about, rather than the random lives that JK does as an example.
Suggest comments are blurred until approved by the mediators. "been loving your lives"
If they feel that they need to have better protection. I also understand no due to financial issues. But I would happily wait for reports so that they can be safe.
BTS knows what hate means and there is no hate without admiration and envy and anyway they cannot be blind of the haters just ignore them as they have been doing till know also take in mind that if they want to continue growing thats not make anysense to have to pay to check them
Yes! For lives absolutely yes! Army membership and paid lives
There should be a limit of how many comments we can post on a live. There is too much spam already.
Moderators filtering out the garbage, is the way to go.
No, there are so many that can't afford it and yet wanna watch news and stuff. Just report those who throw hate so they totaly get removed from weverse
Now they have digital membership besides the actial annual membership. So in order to chat you should be a paid member. But everybody should be able to watch the lives
Just moderate them and then block them for live.
also I think the members can choose to make their lives members only if they want, no?
No, I don't think it should be limited to paid, however it can be limited by just creating other approval methods:
1 - paid membership
2 - account with previous purchases via approved payment method (aka HYBE knows who they are IRL if they act badly)
3 - minimal 100 posts to members beginning at least 14 days prior (will it stop everyone? no. but it will require them to spend time on weverse in advance and create posting history)
Alternatively, non-approved posters could post, but the members cannot see them. so those people feel they are participating but the members cannot be harmed.
Also limited it keeps from new ppl finding them
I found them before buying & a few yrs back even $22 was too much I didn't have it
For the sake of the artist I think nit should be membership only and if that's not possible then leaving a comment on a chat should only be available to membership army.
It needs to be tailored that's for sure. If it can even reduce the nasty comments it will help. Also ppl who pay should be allowed some perks. No?
There should be moderators on the lives!!!
Yes!
All these people who say moderators… how many would be needed to moderate millions of people watching and commenting?
There should be a delay for the comments, so hateful or key words can be deleted before they show up on the feed. When their comments can’t get through they will move on. Also kick them out of the live.
I would say no, it is cost prohibitive. I'm trying to figure out how to buy merchandise that comes with an overly hefty shipping cost to the USA. There is nothing to stop them from buying a membership. Could there be a way to track comments? I continued to think. Charge for access to the comments. Leave the rest free. Agree with moderators or some type of system check.
Some ppl will pay the money just to hate on them cuz that's important to them.
I don't watch the chat
No. Moderator is a good idea as another said before. I think they as seven need to make a statement about shippers, haters, etc. I think all the idol bands/companies need to unite on the message.
The idols want the numbers. Jung Kook wanted to hit a certain number.
Being a pensioner justdont have the spare money, however I tried to join😮we verse but could not get through at least 4 years ok cause of internet
It should be free but writing comments should be limited to paid viewers.
Those same people are going to pay a subscription to do what they do now.
Here is my options::
1. Obviously a paid membership should be allowed to comment.
2. A newly subscribed to BTS weverse account should not be allowed, and no need to have the membership (the ability to chat should be unlocked after a certain period after subscribing)
3. You should be allowed to chat if you visited BTS weverse a certain amount of time in the last months (just like for example the badges we are collecting on weverse, one of them is earned if you have 15 cumulative daily visits)
4. At least 1 BTS or any member's album purchases in the last year... That purchase will unlock your ability to chat.
If you reach just one of these conditions, you'll be allowed to chat... Of course there would be still intruders but way less, and it will be easier to report them in real time so they will be blocked.
No because that not fair to the fan who can’t afford to buy the Weverse!
No. Not every ARMY can not pay, and haters can😭
No.. People with paid memberships are not better humans. Haters won´t stay away. they are already paid members. I would delete my account if Weverse really would do that.
JK goes live on a whim, I’m not sure BigHit can keep up with him!
havent watched it yet but going by the title, maybe if only members could comment. then anyone that post nasty comments can be banned in the future because they have their info. moderators would be tough sometimes when they come on live randomly at 3 am with no warning to the company.
Crazy huh? 😅😅😅
Also agree with Moderators.
They did it for NewJeans app so they can do it on Weverse too
Én személy szerint megpróbáltam de nemsikerült fizetnem. Sok a szegény ember aki nem tud fizetni.
It’s verification that is the issue for the viewership, not money. Some way to show who you are before commenting. I like your solution though.
There are many fanbases using Weverse and Welive- will they have access to the lives of other groups? Also, this was an unscheduled live. Will Weverse be able to mobilize quickly enough to police the spur of the moment lives that JK tends to do?
Maybe if you don't pay, you can watch live but not have the right to comment
I think BTS should be ARMY membership only. For ARMY that can't afford it there are ARMY funds accounts that would help if this were to happen.
Yes to paid members only
Do you think that the men are above critical remarks? They have heard criticism before.
?
Ignore the hate and just be supportive don't give them haters energy.
HYBE had a full year to improve their technology and add some type of screening, but their premiere artists still have to put up with this trash? I thought they were a technology company. They need to get real and protect artists + the rest of us from these garbage cans disguised as fans spewing in public
