Love my d300... bought the imars III pro not realizing it was not gtech , found the d300 on sale and bought it.. used my 3s 8000mah in the park to charge up 2 spare 2s packs at 5 amps each and it was fast.

I don't really know much about these cool chargers due to I only have Traxxas models with their chargers. However, still liking the video because Greg is my favorite RC TH-camr 👌🏼 thank you for the great videos!

I just recently got this charger. Been having an issue with charging my receiver/radio batteries. Doesnt seem to like the balance plug from those, but any other battery is just fine

I still have to buy a new charger, but it seems that cheap chargers are not necessarily good. This is a great charger review video.👍👍

Nice video!! In the case of the D300 how do you charge a battery with a XT90? You need to buy an adapter? Or make your own XT60 to XT90? I want this charger

Great information. How fast is the Mini compared to a normal charger?

Of course I bought an iMars dual about a week before this was announced. How that goes right? Love the content always informative!

They are in the UK, I have the mini version. Very easy to use if all you want is a basic smart charger.

D300 appears to be strangely similar to my Ovonic X1 (Ovonic, although slightly bigger; same features & software)

I purchased the mini. I loved it till i found out it was overcharging my batteries. Where i run my rc there are always others with d300 chargers for me to balance charge them occasionally. So i guess i purchased my own d300 even though i dont fully understand the benefits between the mini and the d300 as far as battery health and charging speed bc i believe the mini will charge about 1c or less for a 5,000 mah battery which is perfect.

So these chargers don't smart charge regular lipos correct? You still have to setup all of your parameters? Also these do storage at 3 amps? My venom pro duo takes forever to storage charge at 1 Amp. Plus it will charge over storage charge and then discharge the battery to 3.80. Very frustrating.

Correct. Batteries without G-Tech will need the perimeters set manually.

Funny, I have the same charger (Venom Duo) and I can’t do the slow storage times anymore. Takes well over two hours to storage charge anything larger, and the 80W max per channel is just too low for 4S or higher with big capacity.
I’m planning on getting this iMars charger, providing that 3A storage speed is accurate. Plus it’s got what, 150W per channel? It’s pretty much as high as chargers will go without a separate power supply, I’m pretty impressed.

@GeddyRC it's ridiculous for sure. Also if it's below 3.80 per cell it charges it above that number then discharges it back to 3.80. So frustrating.

I have the mini charger and it does smart charge lipos and storage charge them. It's a good basic charger but obviously it shows no voltage numbers etc, only green lights when ready.

I need to learn to use a charger so I don't borrow the house down that's what keeps me from buying an RC
