It always feel more real when Shauno is in the lead!. There is a dynamic he creates that is just calm enough to be exciting, but not the over the top nature that is easy fall into. He doesn't towel anything up old Shauno. There is less word soup whist Shauno is driving lead, he drives his own vehicle instead of commenting to the drive from everyone else's rigs... And he has an actual 4WD ACTION VEHICLE set for some serious action! , as opposed to a road car that spins 4 wheels. The Dirty 30 and his other wagon is built really well with lockers, lifts, quality suspension, and tyre selection. Cheers Shauno! You make it fun for me. I enjoy all the episodes, but those are Fun! I'm a fan of the D-Max for a weekend play car that can pull a family with some camping gear on holly's, and service the needs during the week... It's just not locked, lifted, upgraded output and ready to rumble as a full 4WD Action worked and rumbling Australia vehicle. Second to Shauno's rigs, in my favourites list, is the Spartan and his Bazerka Bazooka Blaster , it's another committed off road vehicle. That blasts through it!. I'm saying these ideas as just that, ideas ... I love the show, and I keep up to date with it!. Especially whist having my treatments in hospital. This show sometimes reminds me of (pre spinal trauma) adventures that the 3 of us would get into. I'm looking forward to any thoughts or my suguestions from both 4WD ACTION memberd, and others who enjoy the content, love the show, and want to see it improve!. KINDEST REGUARDS AND BEST WISHES!.
Cold, wet, muddy, immobile despair. Best line? "This takes longer than 5 minutes if I'm completely honest with everyone out there." Great shows guys. Love it.
@@michaelmaher7255you need to have some respect, you have know idea what people are going through. For your information i have seen it was actually a sudden heart attack. RIP Steve
@@michaelmaher7255 I'm not trying to have a go at you at all mate, but I do want to say to you, what you said there is extremely basic and insensitive.
@deansummers "you have know idea what people are going through" well said brother much respect that people like yourself and a few others realise that fact.
Definitely agree with the steps on the tub. I have the raptor and so many times have thought the steps would come in handy. Love the "Ranger" build so far 👌🏼
I just found these videos about a week ago while looking for FJ80 off-roading videos. I’m hooked. About half way through the series. Can’t stop watching. By the way, I’m in Kentucky, USA!
Good tip about clearing a downed tree with a bit of extra room for bigger vehicles. Considerate use of the tracks is what keeps them open for us all. Nice one.
Man to go camping in the mountain and be at the beach after the trip is something I thought only islanders could do. Man these videos give me so much more motivation to just go out and explore just waiting for my truck to be finished
I'm glad you show us the breaks and repairs. It shows the realness of the situation. I would love to see you guys come over to the States and drive the Rubicon and the other trails we have.
Happy to be first of 500 viewers....)))) Like you guys! Legends and you are making iconic offroad, with your videos me dreams will go stronger....))))) Especially knowing that I am from Ukraine, and was visiting Australia, and hope return there one day!
first...click like then watch always get goosebumps when one fresh 4wd action video comes out, loving it good on you Guys!!! Shauno as usual beating the shit out of the 80 so much fun. R.I.P Steve R.
Another awesome movie from the 4WD Action team! I like seeing the 80 camera car at the campsite as part of the show. Best wishes to Steve's family and friends.
These videos make me jealous of the amount of unpopulated areas to go 4 wheeling. And I'm saying that while living within an easy drive of places like Moab, Utah.
My biggest frustration. I'm in the midwest and there just isn't much common ground to do any real trails. We've got some offroad parks, but our national parks are kinda shit.
Sean Lewis dirty 30 getting build up as is got lots of rust if u check his Instagram it will tell u more about it and shorty is in Western Australia where graham live
Yes I agree but the one pro is that the 4WD Action crew show peeps how to deal with those worse case scenarios out on the road/track/no wheres from help with busted gear. They are also road testing trailers with tow vehicles to see what doesn't work and for sales irk course. Punters want to know what works out in Oz. Of course they are driven by revenue so they keep the magazines/dvds/their own passion for 4x4 going. Yep as soon as I hear DMax/Isuzu/traction control for the second time the volume is muted for hearing control as I know we will hear it for at least a hundred friggen times ....
Just watched the whole video wondering why I’ve not seen more of that Steve. He seemed like someone I’d like to watch try to drag a trailer through things he shouldn’t. Sad ending. That’s a damn tough one. Great video and a awsome way to say good bye.
greetings from newfoundland canada! so sorry to hear about your mate guys it really broke my heart but hes up 4 wheeling in heaven now for sure, awesome video guys love your work and vehicles we dont get here in canada, keep it up!
good to see barrington again i camped at gumni falls more than 35 years ago gumni falls is in barrington state forest in them days we had the same problem with fallen tree it took 3 cans of tooheys new and a chainsaw to clear it lucky the tree was piped otherwise it would have taken a carton there's good rainbow trout in that river
24:00 m - couldn't have swapped the batteries? jumped the one up the hill that the flat one goes in to, and run the trailer ute just on the battery (ie turn off lights)? would eventually take out another battery but by then you might have been out?
I love y’all channel I watch it as much as possible what I would give to be you boy(mates) in person one day keep up the sick videos throw some of shauno cooking back in I love it !!! Let see what’s in store !!
The truck's y'all use are a little smaller than what I"m used to for going through the mud, but it's great to see how much fun y'all have. Of course, I have no real experience with hills/rocks because I don't live in an area with either really, so it may be better to have a smaller truck for those types of terrain. Either way, watching how much fun you're having makes your videos very entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work. And if you can get some larger tires with more aggressive mud treads, give them a try... :-)
Did Narrington Tops in mid 1970s, but must be another part. Permit only 10 vehicles max, granted three groups per year. Travel 10km in three days. Mostly winching up and DOWN steep tracks. Deep rainforest trails!
Good show guys! I thought I seen a set of Cooper ST MAXX on one of the rigs. How do they perform and last? I havent found much on line about them. Most of my driving is on the pavement but we do get wicket winters here on the east coast of Canada. When your wading snow up to your bumper to get to work its nice to have a good tire. Might stick to the Cooper AT3 though. Keep up the good work!
The Barrington tops after rain = I’ll stay at the pub ..... ......... .... That was and insane Daisy chain Reminds me of something out of Jurassic Park 2 hahahaha
I’m not gonna lie, I’m looking forward to the trips through the places where the bushfires have been just to see the regrowth, it’ll grow back prettier then it was and it’ll be keen to see what it looks like
They hit this track to the pools at the right time cause when ever I go there it's a 2wd track. The best thing to do is where the track turns to the left about 20 minutes in, take a right!! It says no access and further in has a gate blocking a track threw a creek but go right!! And then right again, around the locked gate, it all opens up there is Forrest no more!! It opens into open plains and it's a bit mushy, and you'll see feral pigs and Deer and Dingos everything up in the actual real Barrington Tops!! No access parts that the national parks rangers keep the keys to for themselves and their family only!!
I agree moving fallen trees is a great idea, I thought Chainsaws were illegal to carry in National Parks, which is why i never clear fallen trees in NP. Grahame said rangers like the idea am I wrong?
Technically it is but its more about the use of chainsaw in NP for firewood collection rather than Track clearing. I cases like VIC where you pass through state and NP its a bit rich to enforce a law. We carried one through all of tassie and never had an issue we never used it but if we had to clear a tree itd been handy
Nothing beats the days of 4wd action and the og Intro. Bring it back
I always look forward to these videos. Keep them coming boys!
RIP Steve and condolences to his family and and friends.

Sorry for your loss boy's. This is a great way to remember him. RIP Steve R.
Weirdly, cant get enough of this. Watching from South Africa and Im busy browsing second hand 4x4 sales.. RIP Steve.

This week on “and we’ll see how we go”........
Best drinking game channel ever

Shauno I love to watch you cook and enjoy life!
Letting the ads run because im a true fan and I want you to get money so you can keep going out and making these videossssss!!!!!!
That's what I call a gentleman!
legend ! helps too if u click the ads too and go to the web page
hopefully these blokes got good jobs to help. I mean how much could they possibly make from short obscure ads,

Amazing trip, thanks for sharing Lads. Have to say I miss seeing the Dirty 30 and Shorty, they were as part of the brand as Shauno, Graham, and beers!
Sean Lewis dirty 30 getting build up as is got lots of rust if u check his Instagram it will tell u more about it and shorty is in Western Australia where graham live
Please keep the sensational content coming! Youse are absolutely great 👍🏽 🔥🍻
Every episode some poor bastard snapping CVs and axle shafts trying to drag a massive trailer around
Yeah and I bet the tracks have signs advising against trailers in the wet.
Not an issue with SAS.
ya mates where are the lockers?

What do you guys do to minimize mud in your trucks when you're walking around and setting up winches like around 26:30 ?

Thanks boys, always appreciated.

Wow, towing a camper trailer around looks like great fun!!
32:11. Steve looking at Graeme and Shauno doing the cooking segment, realising he’s not one of the boys and sadly walks away 🥺

Wow happend apon a special vid, first outing in sooty, not to long after watching the revamped dirty 30s first visit to the tracks. 🤙🤙🤙
Anyone else like all 4wds videos before watching ?
Yes...saves time
Too busy with the underage kids huh?
Take a seat over there
No, because I love the whole team, but I am always waiting for an episode without a trailer :))) I hate those stupid trailers
Love you guys videos cant wait till i get my 4wd im getting a suzuki samurai for my first car next year
