Oh my gosh I loveeee the colors! Annie, your art is such a breath of fresh air! I’ve been struggling with perfectionism in my own art for a while now-to the point where art started to become a source of anxiety instead of joy and fun. I’m so happy to have stumbled across your channel though because I’m beginning to find joy and freedom again using your techniques! Thanks so much for sharing with us. 🩷
I love this painting. I love how you used all the colours just for peonies. I have got to try this. I am so rigid in my thought process in what colour or colours would go well together so seeing you do this I loved it every step of the way absolutely loved it, I’m aesthetic by the way, which means I see when I’m really blissed out, so soi never really know what will bring it on but but it’s usually an 80s tune or a favorite movie or person like my kids that’ll make me get giddy and happy! This made me have that feeling! So you gotta know you’re doing something right with your process!
Gorgeous. ❤ If you put velum or even tracing paper between your pages that will keep them safe from sticking etc. ❤ I’d love to see the orangey spread too 😊
Congrats on monetization!! That's a huge deal and a big feat ❤🎉 I love that you do these florals in acrylics. I see so many Artists paint florals in watercolor and I thought I'd have to do the same, but it's exciting to see I don't have to trade my acrylics for watercolor just yet lol
Thank you for sharing your art with us! It is absolutely beautiful! I love your florals and your landscapes. They make my heart so happy. I paint in watercolor but your work makes me want to try acrylic and to try similar ideas in watercolor too. So lovely!
I’m so with you - I love videos like this, and I pretty much always have them on in the background! I was building an IKEA drawer while I watched this one 😆. I really loved hearing your thought process as you worked through this painting, and it’s so fun to see how you play with color. I have also never used a filbert brush, so now I’m inspired to try one out! Thanks for sharing!
It’s no nice to have something nice to listen. To in the background! 😄❤️ filbert brushes are definitely fun and change the whole vibe of the painting! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!🥰
This may be controversial but I liked your first pallet page after you almost finished the painting as a abstract piece of art. The way the colours were mixed on the pallet looked interesting. Beautiful painting too of the peonies.
Wohoo! Congrats on the TH-cam partnership so quickly! It took me 6 months to get there and I am so thrilled. It's such a fun journey to be a TH-camr, so congrats again!! Now I'm gonna continue your video, but wanted to write this :)
hi, I'm very interested look at your channel you made more videos of how to paint or what techniques you have, I'm new to painting greetings from Norway❤.
Your paintings are absolutely beautiful! Wow. If it’s okay to ask, how did you learn to paint flowers? Did you take courses or online classes? After seeing your video’s I have been inspired to learn ❤. Thank you in advance 😊
Love this! Also, curious to know more about how you got into surface design! I finished college last year with a degree in graphic design and have done traditional art my whole life. Struggling to find job opportunities. Would love to know some tips or a bit of how you got started! Maybe you could do a video on this! Could help lots of people I think.
I could definitely do a whole video on this topic because I also only focused on traditional art as I was growing my business. To give you a quick answer though, i slowly stepped into the world of surface design by sharing my work online and different brands and companies would reach out for commissioned pattern work. It was a slow progression but all of the work I have now was a result of sharing my artwork and journey on Instagram over the last ten years 😊
Huge congratulations for reaching such a big TH-cam milestone!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I love so much your landscape painting it’s so beautiful!! I wish to see more like this and to see you draw it!
Gorgeous painting. Looking forward to more videos from you.

I really enjoyed watching you work, and work through the “ugly” bits. Your work is lovely. Thanks for sharing.
So glad I stumbled upon you! Can you link your cute little clips you're using to hold your sketchbook pages?

What brand and size angle brush did you use for this painting?
Acrylic? Gouache?
Random comment: you remind me of Margot Robbie
WOW what a compliment! 😅 thank you!❤️
