Well done on getting pre-marital counseling. My parents always made their marriage a priority and still went for counseling years after they were married. Whether it was going well or going bad in their relationship, they kept asking for counsel as marriage is an investment.

This was so beautuful. I cried through it. I've worked on so many things related to my personal traumas through counseling over the years and i'm still doing work on my character. It's crucial for my continued growth. It's easy to believe once we've dealt with traumas, we can stop counseling. But I've found life coaching to be a powerful next step. It's not about the past, but about building a vibrant, abundant future because I never learned those things from my family. Survival is not really living. Thriving in all areas from finances to spirituality is living. I love your videos so much. This is definitely your calling. Blessings, lovely lady.

My own mother was sick and she lashed out at her children the most. I truly believe she was bipolar. She could be so loving one moment and destroying your self image the next. God has truly healed my broken heart and helped me learn to forgive her. Our God is such a good God.
I'm so thankful for finding this channel. My mental and emotional help wasn't in it's best shape before, I used to have panic and anxiety attacks and sometimes I would harm myself. It was extremely difficult for me to open up to someone when everyone else sees me as the 'most' stable person, their go-to friend, I kept it all together very well that it was always hard for them to believe that I'm also a troubled person. That is until I realized that I shouldn't be trusting myself to anyone but myself and to God. I turn myself to God fully, I put my trust in Him and always pour my heart out. One step a time, I got better, all better than I ever was before. And this channel is a blessing, thank you for opening your home to us and giving us glimpes of your wonderful and graceful life, you will be in my prayers and I hope all the best things to your marriage and life.

May I ask where you live?
If you able or can move to a different country from where you at now, you will tremendously feel better with your asthma. This is coming from someone I know close to me who used to suffer terribly in Ethiopea and once he moved to Canada, his asthma stoped. It's really a miracle! So, don't give up and try physical exercising make a habit of that, you will be surprised with the energy u will have and this is from my personal experience. Good luck!
Pls get a health coach to help you with diet and lifestyle modification to help with the asthma.
For starters pls avoid processed sugar, cow's milk and gluten. Take loads of fresh fruit and veggies and do some anti inflammatory teas like ginger, tumeric, moringa.

Pre-marital counseling is critical. In fact, I strongly recommend pre-engagement counseling as a couple before you decide to make the next steps. Marriage and family (raising children) are such foundations institutions to our society, but when do we learn how to love (ourselves & others) & how to raise another human being? Yet me spend many years of learning (all levels) but generally not about some of the most important things in life. After marriage, we still need professional help, just like we would do annual medicals. May God richly bless your lives for His glory and your good, amen

This is very much needed. My mental health has not been good recently, a lot of time crying and feeling disconnected from God. There is hope though, and even though I'm not feeling Him right now I know He is still there. Hoping to start going to counseling soon too.
P.S. I'm also getting married in August!! Even with having a smaller wedding, wedding planning is still so stressful. I hope your day goes amazingly and that God guides you thru every step of your marriage.

I can really relate to this, especially the part about being afraid of being misunderstood. I'm from a multicultural background and have moved around so often that I've often been misunderstood or not recognized abusive behaviors in others due to putting it down to "cultural differences". Just found your channel and I can see myself so much in you and your journey! I am a child of divorced parents and have gone through a lot of trauma in my life and childhood. Parents, wrong relationships, toxic boyfriends. But Jesus called me to him when I was 18. I am now 23, engaged to the most loving sweet humble godly man. I can't thank God enough for what he did in my life! Hold on tight to him and you shall have peace. 🙏❤️
My mother is also an emotional hoarder and I've lived with a cramped house for a long time. Friends and us her children have helped her to let go of things, but I can't reflect on how important your home is, how important it is to be a safe, healthy and peaceful place for you to come back to. My room is my refuge, the cleanest and most organized In the house. Also I believe we should honor God with our homes as well 🙏

I promised I would never come back here because I felt so misunderstood by my family. God is making and has yet made all things new. He is restoring the love my family and I share for each other.
