​@Gregors85 I've seen conflicting videos on this. Lc1 is fine but lc2 has a wider crossbar and it sits higher on the main frame so the holes don't line up.

Sure! I used a Condor brand Utility Leg Rig as the base, removed the pouches and attachments from that, then took a Belt Trap Holster from GBFans and attached it to the leg platform using Zip ties and the Velcro strap that came with the Utility rig.

@@Webhead123 might have to be a bit more clear? Is something not installed correctly? What makes you think it's going to snap off?

@@Gregors85 Sure thing. I'm not worried about something snapping. Rather, it's about the upper "buckles" (maybe not the correct term) where the thin part of each shoulder strap is threaded through which is what you would pull on to adjust the fit for your shoulders. The straps are looped through these buckles, however they are only held in place by tension and I worry that the weight of the pack could, during a long day of walking, tug on those straps enough to loosen the loops and make the pack fall. I made sure that the straps were threaded properly (according to what info I could find online from ALICE frame users) to reduce any risk of them slipping out of place...but I admit part of me is still a wee bit nervous (I'm sure I don't need to tell you how a proton pack represents quite an investment of time and money!). I was thinking that maybe something like a safety pin through the straps just below the buckle might lock them in place and keep them from slipping but the material of the straps is pretty thick and tough to get a pin through. I just wasn't sure if there might be options I hadn't considered for this kind of thing encountered by fellow 'busters. Hopefully I explained that well enough. Thanks for everything!

@@Webhead123 So TH-cam doesn't like my link to the image, but there is a specific method of lacing the nylon strap through the buckle that's meant to prevent slipping. You can also take the excess and knot it on the strap above the buckle tightly.

@@Webhead123 I have had one of the straps come undone me when trooping (one of the ones that snaps together) so I used a bit of green thread and stitched my straps together at the quick release. I swear it looks like they stitched it together on the phoebe pack in Afterlife as well.

@@PaladinChristof Thanks! I did a little internet research trying to learn the proper way to lace the strap, which hopefully should help. I may try tying it off in a knot as well. Appreciated!

Enthusiast will say it's a better connection, but You can get things called "quick disconnects" that don't require you to solder.

@@Gregors85 that’s the rout I was going to go, I just was unsure if when disconnecting the wires from the old speaker if it’s okay to just snip

You can snip it, just make sure you give yourself enough length, trim it as close as possible to the connection. Easy to take away than it is to add.
